A worthy addition to the Final Fantasy series

After the disappointment I suffered with FF8 I stopped playing the series figuring they had finally ran out of gas but FFX proved me wrong. The story is good, the characters grow on you, and the new leveling system is an interesting and welcomed change. The only thing I'd complain about is the actor who does the voice for Yuna...the rest of the voice actors do a decent job, except maybe Kimahri, but Yuna stands out as exceptionally laughable. Also I could never get the hang of Blitzball and was never interested enough in it to try.

Hours and hours of fun

I played this for hours and enjoyed it all.
The system is easy to use, especially for fighting, and there's all the fighting you can want.
Some of the side quests can get tiring, or difficult, but if you don't like them, don't do them. There are so many.

Waste of your time and money

This game should get the prize for MOST BORING GAME. You see, while watching my brother Play/watch this game, i timed the amount of actual playing time to 'watching time". the results were this, out of 20 solid min. of playing the game, roughly 14 of those min. were spent watching cinematics. yes i know this may vary during the course of the game, but it can't be too much different than that. some may like this type of game but for thoses that want to spend their time actually playing as opposed to watching don't WASTE your money on this game.

Eye Candy and not much else.....

Squaresoft and Final Fantasy games usually get great reviews. The voice acting really sucks the actors sound like they're reading emotionlessly. But the fact that it has voice acting at all is pretty neat. Pretty boring. I guess if you've played any FF it's just the same as the one before it but with better graphics. Speaking of graphics this game is total eye candy. The sweetest graphics I've ever seen. The only thing I don't like about the graphics are that they are too bright, happy and colorful. I haven't played much yet, only about 2 hours or so but I'm pretty sure I'm going to just abandon it until I finish playing Shadow Hearts. With the real-time expressions and voice acting instead of text this game really should be fun. I guess I'm probably just sick of playing these FF games. But knowing myself I'll probably fire up the Gameshark 2 and play it quick just to see the movies...

Amazing Addition to the seris

The story line in this game is amazing. As far as Im concerned it's right up there with Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics. The graphics are outstanding...Ive come to the conclusion that in some scenes that it looks better than real life. This game would be an excellent addition to anyone who players RPGs.

This is another great Final Fantasy Game from Squaresoft. The graphics are simply gorgeous. The first time I played this game i couldn't beleive my eyes. The story, as in all final fantasy games is superb, suspensful, and vastly intersting. The game play is amazing as well and the characters are simply great. Each of them is unique and has their own strenghths and weaknesses. In addition to the normal gameplay, the extremely addictive minigame of Blitzball is included. You can go around recruiting players for your team and have a load of fun playing it again and again. The replay value of this game is great as well. Everything about this game screams greatness, and I highly reccommed this.

It will blow you away!!!

The best finalfantasy game I've ever come across! Insane graphics, captivating landscapes, cutting-edge combat, and just the right amount of puzzles. This game is clearly head-and-shoulders above all others in its series and I have a hard time putting it down! My absolute favorite things are the aeons you can customize and improve upon yourself and the blitzball matches, which can be difficult to grasp at first but once you understand the game and you get a killer-team together you wont wanna stop. The new sphere-grid feature is also a nice-touch since you don't have to stop improving your characters once they reach a certain level like in the previous versions. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was the awesome-graphic scenes that are few and far between in the game. Still a sensational game though, great job Squaresoft!!!!

Like nothing you've ever seen

If you haven't played a Final Fantasy title before, now is the perfect time to start! Even though it's a few years old, the graphics are still decent, the plot is still good, and the voice acting is impeccable. Not to mention you'll never get tired of blitzball, and random battles. Even leveling up is different with the Sphere Grid. This is the best RPG out there!

This is one of the best games i have ever played. I have played it 3 times and i never get tired of it. I like the original cast of characters and their lively moods. THIS GAME ROCKS

I have been playing this game for aprox. 5 hours and in all of that time I think that there has been 40 mins. of game play. I hate this game , such a waste of 20 dollars.
