this game is OK, but there is only kill things, for a entreteniment is OK, but anyway buy other game how make you thing and this game too then you can have a great time

Boring click fest

First of all, this game is NOT an RPG. It's just a simple point and click adventure game. The only RPG thing about this game is you can level up your character and chose from 5 stats to level up. If you want a real RPG, buy fallout. The Fallout series has over 10 stats to chose from, is much more fun, and it is a REAL RPG. This game isn't much fun online, either. And the same quests over and over and over in the single player game doesn't do much for the game, either. The monsters are all the same with just new colours. Plus the save system stinks, you have to exit the whole game to save, whoever made that funtion needs to be beat. Blizzard is going down the tube. Buy Fallout, it's 50 times better.

The games really more of an ok to play for awhile kinda game.Too many ppl are making it turn out to be like this badA$$ game.The characters have fantastic powers...the best ive ever seen so far but the whole gameplay...it just gets boring after you play for awhile.ya know?

shift key broken

all what i have been doing in this game so far is pressing the shift key. i am almost done with act three and my left shift key is not working any more. the only thing motivating me to continue is the cinematics between each act. they r AMAZING... and the music is nice also. that's why i am giving two starts and not one.

Beta tester hoping for relief from Everquest addiction

but I didn't get the relief I sought. While Diablo 2 is fun for a while, it is not the immersive game I'd hoped. It could hold my attention for perhaps an hour playtime at maximum. I may buy the game, and I may play the game - most likely when the EQ servers are down, the internet is clogged, or in the unlikely event there is nothing to do at the moment in Everquest.

Diablo 2 simply is a slightly upgraded via more current technology version of Diablo. Something I could do perhaps when recovering from dental surgery and on pain meds. Disengage brain, kill stuff. Fun for a while.

Ahh well, the Frogloks of Old Sebilis await. Chardok... And oh joy! The Hole opened today!

Popular to contrary belief, this game has a VERY convenient system. As you progress further into an act, you find waypoints. Basically, what waypoints do is make it so you can teleport from the town to a point far into the act. And, if the going gets rough, you can use a town portal scroll to teleport you back to town to heal up, then jump back into the portal to pick up right where you left off.

Anyways, this is a great game. You start out by choosing 1 of 5 classes, and then you begin your journey. You begin by killing slow, boring, monsters in a field, but 5 or 10 minutes into the game it gets better. The battles are fun and intense, and almost every single monster drops gold or an item. Also, every time you level up you get 5 stat points and 1 skill point, making your character very customizable. I won't spoil much for you, but I can guarantee that you will like the game.

5 stars all the way.

This has got to be one of the most addictive games I have ever played. As you can see from my living situation, I really have nothing better to do. But if you get this game, you will discover, you wont have anything better to do either! Lag isn't that big of a problem if you have a computer over the speed of crap, and an internet modem that is haulin 42kps (52 perferably). I literally spent one entire summer playing this game. But then a new patch came out and that work was wasted. The problems are hackers and slackers and crackers. Hackers can kill you in an instant, slackers will beg for free items NONSTOP. One actually followed me from game to game (NO IDEA HOW)! And crackers because their too cheap and run away during fights. Those of you who believe this game has no strategy, obviously haven't played the game too in depth. In the hardest difficulty, let's say you make a sorceress whose basis is cold damage. But there are many monsters who are COMPLETELY IMMUNE to cold damage. That's when you have to stratagize. Now that is just me talking about the internet side. If you want to avoid lag and take the easy route, go on single player. Though I feel, that if you do not have lag, it just makes the game too easy. There are complaints about realms going down, well then go to a different realm and colonize there! I did, and have great characters on the EAST and WEST coast. The only thing I could think of bad about this game, are the other not so legit people out there. And that you can't take out the townsfolk (dang). I could go on for hours telling you why to buy this game, so just do it. Lay down about 20$ for this game. It is worth 200$+!!!

This really is the greatest game!! Even though it starts out slow it will speed up and get very challenging and fun! It also has a great story and characters. Thne there is the multiplayer.
First of all its easy to use and the PvP system is great! Getting the most powerfull weapon and the highest lvl ear(a trophy you get after killing a player) is half the challenge. Then other half is beating the game. It has three differet difficulty levels (you cant acces "nightmare" untill you beat normall and so on). The botomn line is this is the greatest game and iif you like RPGs you should buy it!!

This Game is the best not gorey or that bloody but very fun and addictive.
