Frustrating like Hell!

Many already said that, but I will say it again:

This is the most frustrating game I have ever played in my entire life!

NO story.
NO logic.
NO fun.

You run, you kill, you run, you kill, etc.

Besides, if you want to spend hours playing the same level over and over and over, feel free to buy this game.

When you are about to finish a level with some healt left, enemy characters suddenly pop up behind your back (even when there is no access behind you) to kill you.

I truly hate that game.

I have to admit when I first starting playing this game it took a while for me to get use to the controls. But, after you get use to them the game gets to be great. I really like the action scenes. It really gets you caught up in all the aciton. A lot of people try to compare this one with Max Payne. Other than the cool diving in slow motion and shooting people that's about it. This game goes a step further. First it has the one on one combat then you get use all the cool weapons. The camera angles can get kind of funky but, other than that the game really rocks. Oh yeah, you also get to use his dog shadow when things get out of hand. I nice touch if I say so myself.

This game is great.The carnage you can cause is nearly unlimited but the thing is you have to be smart about it..you can't just run and gun in the later levels, your enemies will kick your arse and wipe up the floor with it if you do so or you better be armed to the teeth.There are so many ways to kill your enemies. For example:if an unsuspecting foe is in front of them you could A)Run up and snap his neck, B)If you're out of weapons you could sneak up and disarm him. or C) pull out your gun(s) and blast the sucka..the control is suprisingly smooth considering its a third person shooter.Its satisfying holding down the R trigger and firing away at enemies, especially if you are in slow-mo mode.The mini-games range from cool to absolute [junk]..the stripper dance is humiliatingly [bad] (theres no jiggle know what I'm sayin?) but picking locks and stuff is cool.The graphics are about the same as the minigames some things look cool others look like [junk](like the prison level when you have to lift weights..Jack Slate looks really blocky and not in a good way)this game reminds me of Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Solid..the difficulty on DTR is high there is not one level you are not gonna die in at least once (except the first)I recommend this game to anyone that likes games of this nature and likes a challenge..this game is a must have.

There is nothing wrong with the inverted pitch control style on this game. If you are smart enough you will get used to it and appreciate it.

This game is insane i love when you dive and it goes into slow mo, tyte strip club, tyte dog.......who ever gives this game less than 1 star is an ... this game is by far the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVENT PLAYED ANY GOOD XBOX GAME UNTIL YOU PLAY THIS I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS GAME

This is a very good game, but what I don't understand is why is it so ...hard...I mean come on think about it when you go to jail look at the stuff they have you doing at first it is O.K. but then they make you arm Wrestle this big [guy] and that is so...hard look to keep it short and simple the game is good but if your local neiborhood blockbuster has it please rent it first. don't buy it unless you like stressful,difficult, or challenging games. or if one of your friends has it you can barrow it. that's what i did and i saved 50 bucks on a game that i thought was this and that and it really was PITIFULL. But other than all of the Other [stuff] it's o.k.

Dead to rights graphics is sweet,and the game play is nice, however, but parts of the story line really slows down the exciting intense game play. Over all, I have really enjoyed playing the game.

I think this game game is really good the control can be hard to remeber but I just got my xbox so Im still getting the feel for the controler the only think I dont like about this game is the camra and the targeting system other than that a really cool spin on max payne type of gameplay

This game is a hundred times better than ... What was up with that scene when you had to follow the red lines in that dark ... room with the baby crying in the background? That was the dumbest ... scene in a game I had ever seen in my life! Now dead to rights is one of the realiest games I have ever played. ... You can't beat the disarm moves in this game. ... The best one that I have seen is so far ... is the one when you grab the guys AK and flip him in the air and shoot him while still in the air! Then you role out of the way as his body hits the ground. ... Then you can sic your dog on your enemies and he will then bring you their weapon. That is a great feature if you are surrounded and you don't have any more weapons. Go get'm boy! Then the game is hella long. ... ... Take it from me and go buy this game. It is off the backboard!

This game has several things that keep it from being remotley fun to play. The first is the controls, they could be much simpler but they arent. The second is the pointless side games, i only found them extremly frustrating. I cant play this game for more than a half hour at a time or i get a headache from getting so stressed out. Dont buy.
