Thee Best

Quite simply thee best video game ever created. I've been playing video games since 1993 when my daughter got me hooked on the old NES Super Mario Bros. 3. Since those early days I've advanced from the NES to Sega Genesis, SNES, N64, and now Windows 98 PC games. Super Mario 64 still reigns supreme. It appeals to every facet of a gamers desires. For anyone left on this planet that hasn't actually played this game...BUY IT! I still remember my astonishment the first time I spun Mario around 360 degrees, I'm guessing you will too...

The industry standard in platform games

_____All other platform games must and inevitably will be compared to Super Mario 64. Sure, it is an outdated game, with graphics, sound, and camera control that would be considered subpar today, but at it's launch, it was THE game to own. Period. And 3 years later I still go back to my N-64 and play it. And I compare all other platform games to SM64. If it doesn't improve on this near-perfect game, I won't play it.

Super Mario, Super Game

When I first got this game I had trouble finding the first level. As soon as I found out where it was I became hooked. The graphics are great and there are pleanty of levels, including secreat ones. I really liked this game but it was kind of easy to beat. Of course some of the levels were harder then others. The plot is the same as any of the other Mario games. King Boswer "holds hosstage" Peach and Mario has to find her and defeat Bowser. There were some new charcters introduced in the game. There were many special tricks that Mario could do, like he could fly using the fly cap. There are many big "monsters" that get in your way during the game, like the Big Bomber. The first level was easy but the levels get harder as they go along.I really liked this game, but there should be more levels in it!

Wonderful and challenging

This is a wonderful game-almost like the neverending story. It seems almost surreal when you jump into a painting and go into another world. I got this game and the Nintendo 64 system for Christmas the first year it came out. Super Mario 64 got me hooked on video games, and I had never even had a system before that. Mario is very challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it will probably be one of your favorite games. A guide for this game is also very useful and helpful. It tells you how to get every star of the game (almost) and includes maps and locations of all the levels in the game. The guide also tells how to make Mario move around and lists all the enemies and how to defeat them. Thi game is a wonderful Christmas present-be sure to get a guide too.

It's that Good.

Hey, borrow it from somebody. This is /not/ just another Mario Game, this is THE Mario Game. Others just want to be this, and weren't able to because they didn't have the technology back then. This is a must for every n64 system out there.

Simply put, the best 3D platform game ever made

Mario 64 is by far the greatest 3D platform game ever made. It is easy to play, so beginners will not feel turned off by the control of our hero. The worlds are large, and with 15 of them you can play this game for a VERY long time. If you own a Nintendo 64 and have not played or do not own Mario 64, you are doing yourself an injustice. Buy this game. You will be gone for a long, long time on this adventure.

Mario64 is great, the best, totally awesome, most superb

All guys and gals who read this, GET THIS GAME! For the sake of humanity! Although there are many complex moves, and worlds, it's still fun! after all Mario Bros 3 for the NES had over 100 courses I think. Even if you buy it just for the fact that it's mario it should be worth it. And the variety of worlds and enemies is so great it blew me away when I first played it. So in conclusion, buy this game! Class dissmissed...

When I bought this game and played it, I thought it was a little hard. But when I beat bowser for the first time it was a lot easier. From then on I loved this game.

First the worst? That's just wrong.

Greetings, I am Oklonia. My review of Super Mario 64 is right here.

Super Mario 64 is a game that all master N64 gamers have to own!

I don't even need to tell the story. What's happened? The same traditional story: Bowser kidnaps Princess Toadstool,
Mario finds the princess, rescues her, and destroys Bowser.
Capcise.

The courses and star's names are quite creative. (e.g. Lil' Penguin Lost) They are more riddles though.

The graphics are so sharp looking and realistic, that maybe just a few could go on GameCube. (GCN)

Despite a few annoying sounds and no multiplayer mode, Super Mario 64 is really super!

This has been Oklonia.
