Fun for everyone!

My little four year old niece owns this game. Every time she comes over, the adults take it over! I caught myself playing once for over four hours. To begin with Pokemon are incredibly cute, and it is nice that this game does not focus on the trained Pokemon doing battle with each other but rather on the wild Pokemon playing in their "natural" habitats. The whole concept of taking pictures of Pokemon and then having these pictures scored by "Dr. Oak" is not only great for young children but gratifying for adults as well. And since you can increase the difficulty, the game really increases your hand-eye coordination without the use of violence (a major plus). And you can't forget the bonus of turning your favorite snap shots into stickers at the video store. You can bet "Pokemon Snap" is on MY Christmas list!

the best!

Pokemon snap is sooo fun!It sounds wierd that taking pictures of pokemon could be fun, but it relly is. Parents won't have anything against it, because there's no violence. It's totally cool to see all the pokemon in 3-D and playing around. This is one of the best games for n64. It may sound easy, but sometimes it's hard to get a good shot of a certain pokemon. What's more, you can choose your 4 best shots, take the cartridge to blockbuster, and have them printed out. I totally recomend this game. It's 'da bomb! (The pokemon our so cute!) BUY IT! BUY IT! BUY IT! peace. chow. (Tip: Go through the same corse lots of times. when you get pester balls, throw them everywhere! If a pokemon won't turn around, keep throwing those pester balls at it. Good luck!)

Personally Pokemon Snap was the first game I ever got for N64 and I haven't found a game I like more. The game is cool and it starts out as you playing the role of "Todd" a photographer and Professor "Oak" tells you he found Pokemon Island and he wants you to get pictures of all the pokemon there on a 60 exposure film camera.

Now you start out on the beach level where you see a handful of different pokemon but if you want to get really good shots of some of the pokemon there you'll have to bring in a lot of points so you can get the pokemon food. There are Buttefree, Pidgey, Laparas (ocassonaly) and lots of other cool pokemon.

After you best the beach you have six more levels to beat. It's lots of fun and challangeing to get the best shot you possibaly can get!

Items: Pokemon Food- You use this to entice pokemon to follow you and to make them do neat tricks for the food. You can also convince pokemon to come from their hiding places. Pester Balls- Wow this repelent sure works. When you hit a pokemon with it they get crazy and scared but thats OK. You can force pokemon out of hiding places and knock them down off rocks and stuff. Pokemon Flute- Hmmmm do you want to wake that giant sleeping Snorlax? You do well this el' do the trick. The flute wakes pokemon and canm make them do things like dance and attack it's really cool, but you'll have to bring in a lot of points before you get it!

In closing this game is really cool and any pokemon fan should try it. This game is a bit easy but all more the fun! Rent or buy it I totally recomend it!

Variety

This game is great. It doesn't matter if you've ever seen a Pokemon or know what one is. It's fun and has incredible replay value. With over 60 Pokemon to catch, the game is fun and challenging. You might wonder what's so hard about taking pictures. Well, the game is not just about pictures, you must learn to use the tools you recieve to uncover new Pokemon and new levels. When you get to explore places lik a beach, volcano, river, and cave, the variety is wonderful. You'll regret only having seven levels to play.

Finally! Pokemon fans can see their idols in 3-d! Pokemon Snap features a beautiful 3-d environment crawling with pokemon. You're Todd, a pokemon photographer who is sent by Professor Oak to collect pokemon pictures. Along the way, the Professor will give you items such as apples to lure pokemon to where you want it to go. As soon as you've taken your pictures, you can print them out at Blockbuster Video! I encourage you to get it if you are a pokemon fan!

a deffinite 5 star for the younger crowd.

finally, a game that doesn't require "blood shed" to win. The pokemon are 3-D, adorable and through the efforts of nintendo, have character and personality. The game was challenging for my six year old and he didn't walk away wanting to karate chop everything in sight. :) which is a plus. The graphics are beautiful and the music light spirited.

Fun with the kids

This has been an enjoyable game to play with my kids. I have often wondered what they have been talking about with trading cards and pokemon figures. This game that takes you through Pokemon Island took my kids and me together. Enjoying the thrill of finding Pokemon in many different and strange places. Enjoying taking pictures and seeing who took the best picture. Helping each other find different and wild ways of bringing these pokemon out in the open, and finding ways to make them do different things. This is better than a game board. My kids and I were able to spend some real quality time together, and I found out a lot more about the Pokemon. I recommend this as a family fun game, but beware parents you can become just as addicted as your kids.

Thecnicaly I haven't played the game. However, my aunt has four children who did. They are extreem critics and hard to keep quiet. They really enjoyed this game. While the older one thought it should be a bit more of a challenge, all the kids loved it. Anything that keeps my aunt's kids guiet must be worth five stars.

This is a great game!

This game is great! You take the part of Todd the pokémon photographer who has been hired by professor oak to help him get photos for his report on pokémon island. The game is easy to complete and takes less than a day to finnish but your quest ought to be to get good pictures and try to beat all your old high scores for each pokémon picture. Some people have been complaining and giving this game low ratings but they don't put their heart into the game and try to get the best pictures they can. The coolest thing is you can make your own stickers from the pictures you took.

I think it's fun because if you didn't get a score on a good pictue you can keep trying and trying to beat it. And each level is fun. FInding hidden pokemon like Arcanine and Growlithe and Charizard and Victrebell and Ditto. I have all the pictures (even fighting magmar and dancing pokemon, mew, etc.) except for Mewtwo and Dragonair.
