This game is great! You take the part of Todd the pokémon photographer who has been hired by professor oak to help him get photos for his report on pokémon island. The game is easy to complete and takes less than a day to finnish but your quest ought to be to get good pictures and try to beat all your old high scores for each pokémon picture. Some people have been complaining and giving this game low ratings but they don't put their heart into the game and try to get the best pictures they can. The coolest thing is you can make your own stickers from the pictures you took.

Thecnicaly I haven't played the game. However, my aunt has four children who did. They are extreem critics and hard to keep quiet. They really enjoyed this game. While the older one thought it should be a bit more of a challenge, all the kids loved it. Anything that keeps my aunt's kids guiet must be worth five stars.

I think it's fun because if you didn't get a score on a good pictue you can keep trying and trying to beat it. And each level is fun. FInding hidden pokemon like Arcanine and Growlithe and Charizard and Victrebell and Ditto. I have all the pictures (even fighting magmar and dancing pokemon, mew, etc.) except for Mewtwo and Dragonair.
A great family game!

We loved it! This is one game a family can enjoy together. Somewhat tedious for an adult, but still enjoyable to watch the kids take pictures of all their favorite Pokemon. Highly recommend this game!

My kids are huge Pokemon fans. This was the first Nintendo game I ever bought them, when I got the system. Of the several they have, they play this the least (at this time).
The game is interesting, and challenging, but not as much fun as it could be. The Pokemon are sometimes hard to get in focus, and the frustration level can get high for younger children. On the other hand, older kids seem to breeze through it, and then are done with it. It does not lend itself to lots of repeated play.
I wish that more than one player could save their data on the cartridge, that is a drawback. And it would have been nice to have more diverse kinds of Pokemon. However the graphics are great, the premise is good (I really like the lack of violence) and the different environments are fun to explore. Bottom line, buy this game if your kids are Pokemaniacs, but don't expect them to spend hundreds of hours playing it.

As two working parents, we don't have alot of time to play the game. So, it's taking us a while to get through it. We need one more shadow to get to the rainbow cloud level. We think this is an excellent game for anyone, young or old. It's VERY challenging! It's hand over mind control. This is a must buy.
Fantastic fun for a while...

We got this game for our sons this Christmas, and it was the hit of the Day, keeping them and their cousins glued to the play till well we could coax them to bed...
Then the adults got a chance... We stayed up till exhausted, passing the controller, each of us sure that we could get the photo the last just missed!
It was terrific...
Now, several days of play later, new pokemon have become rare, and it looks like there's not too many more plays left, but we still can't wait for our turns...
Great for Pokemaniacs!
