Great game, but.....

I really enjoyed Pokemon Snap. I think it's cool that the game never ends. One of the neat things to find different kinds of pictures. Example: if you work hard and get the boost engine; you can speed ahead and see pokemon that weren't there before. I did this in the beach level and got a really close pic of a Lapras! Why i give this game four stars is because it can get boring after awhile. How many times can you take a picture of pikachu? If you get this game don't play it too much right away or else you'll be done it and that'll be it!

Kind of Game that makes you wish you never heard of Pokemon

Pokemon were cool, yes, there was a time when the great empire of little cuddly creature took America by storm. All 150 (as the new one's don't matter a bit) were great and were a lot of fun to see in the game. Then the franchise went down hill shelling out nothing that could be considered nothing more than drivel. I know this may be a lot for a person of any age who loves pokemon to swallow. But, the franchise is old and is nothing anymore but a waste of money. When, I first got this game I will not lie a bit, I was impressed it was a very fun game and I enjoyed owning it and being able to take pictures of various pokemon. When I finished the game though I was horribly disappointed. There were nowhere near the amount of Pokemon in the game I expected and the game really left little to the imagination (can you believe that, a pokemon game, that leaves little to the imagination?) I wish I could rate this game higher and maybe if there were no alternative it may have rated higher, but there are better games out there and I'm sorry but, I wasted my money on this game.

Cool Game!

Pokemon Snap is a cool game. The Only Thigs I don't like about it is that there are only 63 Pokemon to take pictures, no codes, and is extreamley easay But, if your a Pokemon freak you'll enjoy this game!

this was a discrace to all N64 games.I've played some pretty bad games but this one takes the cake for the crappiest game I've ever played. It's a great game for kids 7 and under but not 10 or 11 year olds. You can sum the entire game up in just a few words. You ride around on a track and take pictures of some stupid little creatures.

Not Worth The Money

This game seriously isn't worth the money. I was soooo excited when I saw it in stores, I bought it, and it bored me to death. Adults out there: Take this as a warning. Most kids 9+ don't like this game. I went around my school asking people if they like it, and they all said that it was a totally lame game. (cool, i made a rhyme) It is not worth the money at all. A complete waste, that's what I say, at least.

I like this game!

It's my daughters game, but I think I play it more. It's delightful!

The object of the game is to travel around (on a pre-planned course), discover and photograph Pokemon. There are several "levels" and you must compelete, i.e. photograph enough different Pokemon on each level, before you can proceed to the next.

As you advance in the game, finding elusive Pokemon becomes more difficult. You are awarded various accessories as the game unfolds to help you find them.

Controls are easy. You use the stick to move your viewer and then you can zoom and click to take the picture. At the end of each level, your work is rated and you gradually build an album of your work. Your work is saved each time.

The main downside is that if you want another player to use the game, their work folder overrides yours. It's very much a one-person game, at least until you've completed it.

While Pokemon Stadium appears to be more exciting, I think kids will play this game for longer.

Gotta snap'em all.Well only 63 but 150-63 same thing

This game may be really easy to beat but give some credit to it.this game was one of the funnest games i ever played at first.Everybody says its bad because its really easy to beat. so what at least you can beat it some games you can't even get past the first level.but it does get boring after awile, but it was very fun at first.I also think that you should be able to snap all 150 pokemon not just 63 pokemon.it has 7 levels Beach,Tunnel,Volcano,River,Cave,Valley, andRainbow Cloud where you can try to snap Mew.Despite that they don't have my 2 favorite pokemon ''Cubone and Pinsir'' its still a great game.

Fun,but way too easy

Being a Pokemon fan,I am a little disappointed.I thought that when Pokemon hit Nintendo 64,they would improve the Pokemon Game Boy game.Instead, they came out with a photography game. That subject should be used as a backup like in Donkey Kong 64,not the whole game.It was cool seeing all the Pokemon and taking pictures until I beat it 2 days later.

good, but better for kids

I'm 19 and me and my little brother and sister rented this game one weekend. It's a good game cause it challenges you to take pictures of Pokemons and then to take a better picture next time. However, my little brother and sister seemed to like it alot better than I did. To me, it was fun and has good graphics but it got old quick. But if you have kids around the house, then this will be one of their favorite games.
