This game is my favorite game, rare may not have been able to make a 007 sequel with bond actually in but this is way............better,First of all you can get simulants, the levels are clear, crisp and stay with the story, and the controls and gameplay are easy to learn and fun to use. The weapons in this game are great and there is alot of variety in the different types of guns. If you are looking for a game that you can keep on playing for a long time buy this one,NOW!!

Best shoot em up videogame on the market

When I first got Perfect Dark, I was afraid that like most videogame sequels it wouldn't surprass its revolutionary predeccesor, Goldeneye. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Perfect Dark was very similar to Goldeneye, and in many ways, superior. Perfect Dark is a unique first person shooter because each mission is different from the next. In most games the missions are similar; for the entire game you EITHER use stealth or all out warfare on the enemy. In Perfect Dark, certain levels require you to be stealthy (if you press one wrong button, step one step more into a trap, or injure one civilian, your entire mission is a failure). Some levels, however, require that you go into all out warfare mode. The diversity of the weapons in the game, from the incredibly stealthy combat knives and crossbow, to the assault rifle/grenade launcher weapon aptly titled, the "superdragon", help you to complete certain missions with the right amount of power or stealth. One of my personal favorite guns in the game is the K7 Avenger, which is a very powerful and accurate assault rifle that has long range and a mine detector attached to it. Even better than the solo missions is the multiplayer mode, which enables you to choose the exact level, weapon combinations, kind of mission, and time frame you want. Best of all, you create a highly customized simulant to help you fight against human players/other simulants.
Perfect Dark is not a completely flawless game, but compared to every other first person shooter on the market, it qualifies as perfect.

Perfect Dark was one of the best games I've played in a while. I loved all the graphics, weapons, mini-movies, stages, and the music. I loved how you can walk around in Carrington Institute. My favorite thing was the fireing range. This was a great game nad I hope I buy it sometime

Rare Does It Again

The European software company Rare has made the greatest games ever. Perfect Dark is no exception. I would just like to say that it is my all time favorite game. Although the Solo Missions are great, the game truly shines in it's multiplayer. With a dazzling array of weapons including the Farsight XR-20, which can scan the arena and pick off people through walls, it can't be beat. Thirty challenges are present and you have to complete these to gain new items and simulants. This game has infinite replay value due to the amazing job Rare did on multiplayer.

If you think this is just a GoldenEye clone, the you don't know Rare and you haven't actually played the game! Perfect Dark is like GoldenEye times 100! More missions, better A.I., more weapons, more multiplayer arenas and options, more cheats and secrets, better sound (everyone talks!), better graphics, up to eight humans and computer controlled characters can go at it...the list just goes on and on. If you ate, drank, and lived GoldenEye, Perfect Dark is your fantasy come true! Even if ya didn't like 007, there is surely something in this game for you. Get it today. ...Oh yeah, unless you have an Expansion Pak, you can only play approximately one-third of the whole game. Enjoy!

This game is one of the best titles i have seen for the N64. This game has everything Golden Eye had and more. With amazing weapons, tons of multi player levels, awsome single player mode, great gameplay, easy controlls, and everything else u could ask for in a game. I recommend this game to any of the 1 million Bond fans or any other gamer with an n64. Perfect Dark also has a unique feature that lets u play multiplayer with the cpu (bots) so u never have to have someone over to enjoy the greatness of Perfect Dark multiplayer. Or if want to take a break from the not stop action from the game u can just go over to the shooting range to practice your shootin skills.

The Best Shooting Game For Multiplayers

Perfect Dark is the best game that I have played for the N64. It has awesome graphics (but only with the expansion pak) and the multiplayer features are 20 times better than that of Goldeneye. You actually have more choices than just going around killing each other over and over. You can be on a team with your friend and beat up on meatsims and you could have hardsims on your team and batlle against your friend. It has just a lot more options than goldeneye I think will ever have.

Perfect Sequel

How does one create a successful sequel? It requires great skill, because you need not only to improve on the game before, but to make it larger, deeper, and better in every single way possible. Unfortunately, the games usually end up not having all of the qualities that would be wanted to create a good sequel and the sequel turns out to be weak. Perfect Dark is a complete exception to this rule, being one of the greatest sequels of all time. The sound, is amazing, between the fantastic music, and the brilliant cries of pain that people yell as they die. The guns all have their own unique firing sounds and they are all great. Then there are the graphics, which have not improved dramatically, but have improved in certain ways, suc as cooler death animations, and ... ... Other than that, this field has not been significantly improved. On the other hand, what does that matter with razor sharp and super simple controls and an incredible game! The regular game is very exciting and fun, except the boss at the end is very annoying. There are plenty of difficulty levels, making it practically impossible to actually finish the game. Then there is the firing range, which is a fun, if not tiresome game that you can play using all of the guns in Perfect Dark. Then the VR combat trainng is a rather mediocre mode that can teach you a thing or two about how to fight. Then you can play the single player mode with a friend, or counteroperative, which is a great mode. Then there is combat training, which is the multiplayer mode, and includes things that are called challenges that you have to defeat to earn all of the weapons in Perfect Dark. The multiplayer mode is amazing, because there are so many different options to the game. You wil notice how many different options there are and it boggles the mind.

6 stars! The BEST game ever!

PD (Perfect Dark) is tied for the best game ever. Its tied with Halo for Xbox. The graphics are very good, excellent guns, and its just an overall great game. The computer is actully smart and hard to beat. There are some really, really, really good guns like the Mauler, and the Slayer. There is a puddle of blood when someone dies and when you die, your screen fills red. I highly reccomend this game for ages 12.5 and up. It is a really good game.
