This is one of the best games ever made! The graphics are incrediable. This game is a must buy.

You need to get a grip. This is not real, unlike the events of 9/11. The game does not reference any real Middle Eastern city or people.

You are offended by the content of this game but you dont mention being offended by beheading videos of Americans, do you!

This is a very good game. I never knew that this game would be a really good until I saw my friend play it. Once I bought it I can't stop playing it. If you think you should buy, GET IT!

if you like to do training for hours on end this is your kind of game. i bought this game two days ago expecting a great military game. i could have not been morre wrong. full spectrum warrioir is a game that was trying to be too realistic and it hurt itself in the end. my biggest problem of the game is that you are not able to shoot you can only tell your team to shoot and you sit there and watch them. it also say 1 -2 players can play but you can only have two players if you have x box live. what kind of crap is that. this game is way over rated and if you want a game that is more fun get SOCOM Ghost Recon or Conflict Desert Storm.

My excitment for this game was quickly dampened after the first few missions of repetitive suppression and flanking techniques.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the graphics are top notch, the sound is great, and the music is reminiscent of 'Black Hawk Down.' However, I was entirely bored by games end. My buddy and I both got copies of the game to play online, but unfortunately, you must relive the origional game over again.

As to the AI in the game, others have given honest opinions when they expressed that it completely sucked. Again, the AI is repetitive and advanced levels of the game do not offer much more hope.

As to timing and content, this game has nothing to do with Iraq or 9/11. However, if you are hyper sensitive to this issue, I recommend you pick up the video game Shrek 2 in order to avoid being offended.

Overall, I must say that I am dissapointed. Hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out for FSW2.

This game has incredible graphics and game play. I recommend it to anyone whos interested. You can even play coop over xbox live with a friend. GET THIS GAME

training equals repetition

the first thing to note about this game is that it is based on a training program used by the army....you might think that means "cool it will be ultra realistic". well its not...as far as squad based tactics go it follows a simple guideline, err in the name of safety.what this means is that they took all the "rambo" out of the game,which is great for a training tool but doesn't translate too well to a console video game.
Being a training tool also means that it is highly repetetive...every level is the same just a different background.so basically once you know the gist of the game you can beat it in a day.
this game is a rental if anything it lacks replay value for the fact that it provides next to no challenge,it doesn't allow for ingenuity,it's severly streamlined (it's sole pupose is to teach flanking and squad unity).
i spent five years in the U.S.M.C and had these same maneuvers drilled into my head. so consider this before you take my advice...i may be jaded towards this game,it might be very easy to me because i am very familiar with the tactics,but i don't think so....i think everyone will find this game the same

Just picked it up, the graphics are amazing. IGN.com gave it 9.2 out of 10. Looks like a must have this summer for the Xbox.

FSW is an excellent break from the normal FPSs and RTS games. It has action, suspense and requires strategy. This game requires you to think before acting and doesn't allow for
run-n-gun tactics. Getting into hairy situations in this game is more stressful than others considering the consequences within the game. You have no shield to re-charge, if a soldier gets shot he goes down and requires assistance. A very good game! Watch those corners...

If you can get past the fact that your not doing the shooting, you will love this strategic command of an infantry squad! This is very realistic and intense video game combat. You will take control of a basic infantry squad, having the ability to assign sectors of fire, control team formations, and have access to battle field assets such as indirect fire support and air recon intel.

The interaction of the individual soldiers responses are just hilarious (and realistic from my experience). The over all graphics and cut-scenes are just awesome. I almost feel like I'm playing the "Black Hawk Down" movie, the combat is intense and almost seems like combat file footage. My only small complaint with this game is that (I don't believe) there is not a way to move all of your fire teams at once in a standard squad formation. Overall, this is simply an awesome military game!

People are complaining that this game is slow paced and boring because its not a FPS. Well if it was a FPS people would be complaning thats its unrealistic. This is how the real military deals with situations. They don't run aroung just firing their guns off at random at the enemy. It may seem boring but this is what the military really does, either you like or don't. This is probably the best war-stategy game out today.
