This game has great graphics and vivid levels. The focus ability is great and the choice of weapons is wide and varied. The only thing wrong with the game is some of the levels are too short and pretty much pointless. The level with the SWAT helicopter seems too difficult for being so close to the beginning of the game. There were things that I liked like the choice between two characters and also the refilling of your life as well as focus meters. No looking for a health pack here. Also fighting agents is really fun! Using focus in combanation with gunfire is fun and refreshing.
Just Terrible

Okay, I VERY RARELY write bad reviews, but this game was just awlful. I'm so glad I trusted my gut instincts and rented the game before buying it. What's wrong with it, you ask? Everything!
The graphics are pretty awlful, first of all. ... they are at most N64 level quality. Woo, look mom, 3D graphics! Yeah, right. We're going to need a little more than that to be impressed.
Controls on Xbox are just awlful. Why the hell did they not let you set your own controls? Why would the trigger button NOT be for firing your weapon, like in every other ... Xbox game? Why is the little black button for firing weapons? It just feels like someone ... rushed this title to the Xbox (gee, let's set the buttons as quickly as we can, they won't notice).
Combat is simplistic at best. This game is a button-smasher in the truest sense of the word. Everything about the fighting and the gunplay felt rushed, unrealistic, and ultimately ghetto. Game and level design is also terrible. It's just not fun. You run around with a vague idea about what you're supposed to be doing; there's just no incentive for you to keep on playing the game. I think I'm going to return my game a few days early. ...
The only reason I give the game 2 stars is because I gotta admit, bullet time is neat. It's about the only gimic the game has going for it though, and it's not worth paying [$$$] just to do some bullet-time moves. I'm VERY disappointed in the Wachowski brothers for letting them come up with such a [bad] game to accompany their awesome movies.

Yes, this review is just like the title suggests. Its stuffed full of Pros and Cons. Well enough chit-chat, lets get down to buisness;
Pros:
~Great Graphics!!!
~AWESOME focus (aka 'Bullet Time) moves
~Health recharges (thank god!)
~Good controls exept for shooting buttton (black button) which i think should be switched with the strafing button ( right trigger)
~The enviorments look real. They arnt the most colorful places around, but you have to remember that this isnt candy land folks
Cons:
~the camera can be awkward
~the tiny little ity-bitty tinsy-weensy black button shoots, but i already comlained about that...
~I havnt gotten to the stealth parts yet but people tell me that the enemies can see or hear you to well
And to conclude this wonderful absolutly fabulously written review, if i do say so myself, i would like to qoute my hero Porky Pig in saying "That's all folks!"

This game really is outstanding. My biggest complaint is the graphics. Surely the development team could have done better in that area. I've played Max Payne and this is the idea that spawned that. Bullet time's done better here as well.
Choose from the two main characters in the movie(which I haven't seen by the way), and battle your way through normal guards, agents and I'd expect the twins as well. You have to do things like taking out helicopters, stopping a plane from taking off, and there's even a hacking feature. I lost interest in this game, because I used to be a computer nerd and was disappointed by the shortness of the hacking. That notwithstanding, the action is good, the gameplay is tight, and the story is awesome. I'd advise renting before buying, as usual, but if you're a Matrix fan, this is a no brainer that doesn't disappoint.

I'm amazed about how good Enter the Matrix turned out,
this game has everything - bullet time, incredible Kung Fu directed by the Matrix fight scene choreographer with over 4000 moves, insane car chases and stunts and guns, lots of guns! Obviously I don't want to go too deep into the storyline, it's up to you to discover it for yourself but needless to say there are many merciless agents to be capped, dangerous yet crucial missions to complete and mind-blowing mysteries to be solved. You take control of either Niobe the pilot or Ghost, the zen-buddhist assassin in your extraordinary and life-changing quest. Neo, Trinity and Morpheus turn up regularly throughout the game to give you advice and help you out if you get into sticky situations!
The graphics look absolutely stunning, and let's face it; if they were anything less than superb then the games desingers would have let themselves down. The Matrix, is a legacy that relies heavily on its amazing special effects and the game captures all the atmosphere and imagination that appears in the films. Further to this the sounds are absolutely brilliant. The charcters voices match those of their 'real-world' counterparts and the musical score has clearly been painstakingly thought-out to provide an absorbing experience.
So the does the game live up to the hype? You bet it does. Not only is it a damn fine game on its own but playing and completing it reveals a section of the story that non-gamers will never see.
Omg... Awesome

One of the best 3rd person shooter games I have ever played! Awesome "bullet-time/focus" The moves were very smooth and the graphics were very nice. They couldn't have made the graphics take up a lot of memory because they have footage of their own little clips that are DVD quality! Awesome game if you are a Matrix fan... How can you survive without this? If you have seen Matrix Reloaded and then started playing ETA you would understand the plot in ETA better. 10 stars!

I really enjoyed playing this game, but it's not my favorite, they could have done a lot to make it better. First of all, it's to dark and colorless, they could have added a 2-player mode where you go through the story with both characters.
When you see a agent you really do want to run! because they look so realistic. The graphics a really nicely done, games went up a point in graphic technology. If you haven't played the game you haven't seen the whole movie, when Niobie walks OUT of a room in the movie, she walks IN to the game. The game is based on Niobie and Ghost, and what they where doing through the movie that you didn't get to see.
But hey! now we know why you don't get to play as Neo or Trinity... They where too busy smooching in the elivator to take part in the game... Personally I didn't care for the romance at all in the movie, the Matrix does NOT seem like that type of film at all. I really hope they cut it down in the 3rd movie. One more thing I hope they do, is make another game based on the first film so you can play as Neo and Trinity. But they already named the game "Enter the Matrix" instead of "Reloaded" so I don't know what they will do for a title.
I still give it 5 stars because I had a fun time with it, and the movie 4 stars.

I was waiting outside a local game store for an hour this morning to get a hold of this masterpiece. See I was one of a lucky few to see the Matrix Reloaded the night before its debut and when i got home at 1:30 am i couldnt sleep its bi fo friggin amazing to watch and the game adds to add to the story. To be exact you play as either Niobe Or Ghost , to of the smaller roles in the movie played by jada pinkett smith and anthony wong.It does that and then some giving you a treat visually as well as mentally, it maintains the movies great acting and of course amazing action. Besides the story theres the very cool program called hacking. Now they make it seem sound so amazing "YOU HACK INTO YOUR CONSOLE" really its only a program that makes you use some of your school skills on to learn more about the story and charecters and use EFFECTIVE not stupid cheats. Theres also a tips program that where while you play intravenously you will see random tips you unlock EX. How To Fight Agents. Right now the only peave i have is the controls they are a pain a first (XBOX Version with an S controller} but after a couple hours of strait up play you get a good idea of the scheme. [*]
