Excellent graphics!Way too cool moves.Did Ayane dye her hair purple?Bass Armstrong sure has some major arm mussel.Brian Wong has very strange moves.

I cant even begin to describe how excillent this game is! The creators of this game have the martial arts down pat! and the graphics? truely extrodanary and pushes xbox to its limit. the fighters are great. the girls look amazing. and i think its great they have their own fighting style. zack however (jeet kun do) is the most impressive fighter. BUT, HES NO BRUCE LEE! i mean he is an exact replica of Lee. Thats the only gripe i have with the game but everything else is perfect in this game. i recommend this title to any one who owns an x box and loves or likes fighting games. take my advice people. get this game.

I LOVE THIS GAME CAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF KILLER INSTINCT GOLD. THE GRASPHICS IN DOA3 ARE UNBELIEVEABLE. INSTEAD OF PLAYING IT SOME TIMES I'D CHOOSE TO JUST VIEW IT IN THE WATCH MODE AND LOOK AT THE MOVES THEY USE. TO ME DOA3, ES3:MORROWIND,TUROK:EVOLUTION,AND HALO HAVE DEFINED WHAT A GREAT GAME IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON A CONSOLE SYSTEM. LETS SEE IF THE GAME DEVELOPERS FOLLOW THEIR PACE AND GIVE US SOME THING BETTER. IF THEY DON'T OR CAN'T VIDEO GAMES ARE FINISHED.

The game's graphics are stunningly beautiful. The different fighting styles of the characters are fun to explore. There is a wide range of moves (some quite spectacular) that each character can perform. Still, with all this, the gameplay isn't particularly captivating. Fun to play, yes, but not too deep. Finally, while practice will increase your skill, you can go a long way in this game by simple button mashing.

Only for the weak-minded

This is a great looking game visually, but if you think this is the reason to buy a [pricey] system, then you are wrong. Gameplay-wise, this has nothing much to offer and people need to realize that they are being sucked in by the Microsoft-hype-machine.

The graphics, gameplay, and framerate are unbelievable. The backgrounds are fantastic. However the most important part of the game, the characters, are so incredibly boring. None have any personality or anything that keeps your interest. I like female fighters, and I definitely love and respect women, but there are way too many women fighters in this game. There just isn't anyone worth playing with and it takes away from the fun of the overall game. They need to take a page from Capcom and learn how to develop characters you want to play with and not boring cookie-cutter players. If you exclude the players, you have a great game with a great game engine. If you like the characters, all of which were from earlier games from what I'm told, you'll enjoy the game. If you don't, then definitely pass on it. I wish I had.

Truely a must own for any Xbox owner. This game really starts to push the Xbox with its high processing power, and truely gorgeous graphics, the game's detailed to the teeth, and if I were to buy an Xbox, this would be my first game. A brilliant fighter reborn on a new system, with its fresh graphics and gameplay, a must own, no questions.

This game has a shower scene and you get to see some digital booty. Now it is time for full frontal nudity in a game. The graphics are great in this game and the gameplay is fun but this game is and never will be, nor will any other, anything close to tekken so I would like to get a shout out to all you microsoft big wigs and say if you really want to go for the PS2 juggular get tekken 4 because while this game is fun they just dont compare to the speed and gameplay and tactics of tekken, many of the players are coppied somewhat from tekken. Tekken is the greatest, get this game if you like fighters, but write your congressman and demand tekken if you really want to know what a great fighting game is.

For starters, the game is in half English and half Japanese. When a character speaks it is subtitled yet the announcements "You Win" etc., are in English. Sorry, but that is just stupid.

The story mode is utterly pathetic. I don't even know why it is there.

When it comes to game play, this is strictly a button mashing player vs. player game. My three year old can put up a good fight if her fingers don't get tired.

All said. This game had potential but it looks like the developers were in a rush to get it out of the door. Don't buy unless you think that your three year old may enjoy it.
