Not for the ladies...

This one might offend some women, either who plan on playing or watching the game being played. Dubed "the bounciest fighter around", this game uses sex appeal to reach into the wallets or teens and young adults. Just don't let your girlfriend see what you've been playing....

Oh, god, why, why, why did they ruin one of my favorite fighters, why? Its so wrong, I loved DOA2, and I mastered it to the point I would never want to play it again, then I stoped playing it. After a while I came back to it and it was fun again, but I stopped so I didnt ruin the fun of DOA3. Well my worries were put to rest, they ruined it for me. Its the same thing, theres nothing diffrent, I swear to god, 2 new chareters, and theres all new leavles, thats it. Oh god, thats it,no new attacks, no new blocks, no new grabs, nothing.Its driving me nuts, microsoft had nothing to do with this besides paying them not to release it to ps2 and gamecube and some how this ..., oh well, see you around amigos (I'm not spanish), adios

I own dead or alive2 for Playstation2 and i thought it was the best fighting game since Virtual FIghter 3 on dreamcast. I bought this game just to find out what a letdown it was. Sure the graphics are pretty, but does it really matter when you are in the middle of a dead heat battle, no it doesnt. The gameplay has no value to it. My 5 year old brother beat me at this game because he could press buttons fastaner than i could. What im trying to say is that if you know how to play it well, it does not reward or make you feel good about your gameplay Like the Virtual Fighter series does. TO tell the truth i almost prefer DOA2 o the PS2 rather than this higly over hyped xbox let down. Better wait until Virtual Fighter 4 or Soul Calibur 2.

Xbox should have let Gamecube take the third DEAD OR Alive!

WHy? the first 2 were AWSOME! This one (is just bad)!! I beat it at the (...)Store!! Gamecube is BETTER! XBOX (is bad). It looks like Dead or alive 3 is DEAD!

For starters, the game is in half English and half Japanese. When a character speaks it is subtitled yet the announcements "You Win" etc., are in English. Sorry, but that is just stupid.

The story mode is utterly pathetic. I don't even know why it is there.

When it comes to game play, this is strictly a button mashing player vs. player game. My three year old can put up a good fight if her fingers don't get tired.

All said. This game had potential but it looks like the developers were in a rush to get it out of the door. Don't buy unless you think that your three year old may enjoy it.

I bought the game, never played Dead or Alive before and beat the game in story mode with difficulty of normal in twenty minutes.

As a two player fighting game, nothing comes close.

the game has probably some of the best graphics i've seen in my life--it looks like real life. However, learning moves is rather annoying. A lot of the language for the moves is in Japanese, so it's annoying for those of us who don't know Japanese.

I am so happy I decided not to buy this game, this game is horrible. Yeah sure it has good graphics and stuff but after you beat the whole game it becomes extremely boring. It only takes a few hours to beat the game with everybody. There are no hidden characters. I wanted to give a 0.5 rating but i couldn't. I strongly suggest you rent this game first. This is the worst fighting game ever!
