I love this game. It is so fun! I used to think it was boring but I was wrong!

that is most likely going to be saying when you playing this game this is racing shooting socer and lots of other stuff at first I thought this game looked really stupid but I played it at my friends house and my parents hoged it so my parents bought it and my little brother and I helped with 20 bucks of it. it is a great multiplayer game very close to smashe bros melee.
it is ver fun.

so it gets a 4 becasue it is not perfect ( check out the other stuff I have reveiwed.) bye

My husband and I, plus our four kids(twins 8yrs., 10yr.old, 15yr.old(as it is a 4player game, we are learning to take turns!)) LOVE this VERY FUN game!!! I highly advise you to buy this...warning it is terribly addictive, because it is so very fun!!! Good news: we are spending more time together as a family and NOT watching ANY TV! Get this game and you will find out for yourself, it is stellar!!!

If you like puzzle/action games...this is the game for you! Some of the puzzles were VERY difficult...but if it was too easy, I would have lost interest! The graphics are great also! I also recommend Super Monkey Ball (the original). The replay value is also outstanding! There are SO MANY mini-games, etc...this game will keep you coming back for more!!!

When it comes to Super Monkey Ball, buy the original for the single-player game, and buy SMB 2 for the mini-games. That may not sound like much, but there are a lot of them, and they're a blast. As for the single-player game in SMB 2, it's ridiculously hard, and not as much fun. Only play it to unlock the mini-games.

The masters of Video gaming are back again. This time for the Nintendo Game Cube. Sega's creative team Amusement Vision brings us yet another Super Monkey Ball. The best party game ever created has returned with more from what made the first such a classic. Super Monkey Ball 2 (SMB2) is about these monkeys simply enough in balls having to run around stages that are set up like tracks. where you have to find the easiest and safest way across the board to the finish line. You can play the single player mode which has a story to follow along to. On the single player mode you collect points to use in the bonus section to unlock certain items or party games. You can also compete with a friend on the stages in the 2 player mode. To see who can clear the world faster. Be aware that there are like 150 levels which is guranted to keep your attention. That is enough to keep you busy for hours. And if it isnt then try out the party games. In the party game menu you have 12 games to play with friends(granted you have unlocked them with the points as metioned earlier.)That is for 1 to 4 players at the same time. games like Tennis,Soccer,Pool,and Baseball are played on the same screen. While games like Dog fight,Racing,Target,And Boat race are played via slit screen. This title is going to keep you and your friends busy at every sleep over,party,or just any time. It is also made by the masters of video games so of course it is fun and entertaining. I would tell anyone to buy this game if they have a lot of friends over. It is gonna give you something to do for hours. The graphics are kid quality cartoonish characters that adds to the whole game. Giving you a favorite for certain situations. Everyone can enjoy this game from kids to adults so the rating is very acurate. As usual i would recommend renting it or borrowing it before purchase. So you know exactly what your getting. Games like this dont appeal to everyone ,but this should highly appeal to fans of Mario Party(64,GC), or Sonic Shuffle (DC). I know i had alot of fun playing with my firends. It almost became an addiction to get all the secrets unlocked and all the levels beaten. Oh let me not forget to inform that it only takes up a few blocks (4) of memory. So dont worry of having enough space. What more can I say? It is made by a classic gaming master, it is fun and easy, and it is'nt that expensive. So what are you waiting for? Buy SMB2 right now.:)

Super Monkey Ball 2 is a great, single player or multiplayer game that's filled with stages and challenges. The single player story mode is fun, it starts off like all games quite simple and gradually gets hard, at some stages, extremely hard but every stage is beatable. The multiplayer game modes, which can also be played alone are awesome. The games are: racing, pool, bowling, soccer, baseball, target, fight, golf, dog fight, shot, tennis and boat race. The best of these games are target, racing, bowling, fight and pool. You can play up to 4 players or play with the computer, but I warn you, when the computer is on easy for pool, they are really stupid. Bowling is fun because it has different stages to play. The crazy mode is challenging, I suggest you play normal mode a lot before trying this mode for it can get mighty frustrating.
In all, this game is great and is worth the price, I got this game when it was released and I still play it. A fun, innovative game. Especially fun for parties.

This game is a great game. It has truly amazing detail. The mini-movies are kind of pointless. (Oh well...) This game will have you glued for hours trying to beat that next level. In the beginning you might think, "Oh my gosh, this is EASY!" Don't be fooled as the levels get higher, the harder it gets. You need some major skill to beat the game. So don't throw the game away the first day you play it. The party games... Half are fun. Half are just plain STUPID! I would recommend this to anyone that has skill and just can't wai for a challenging game. Plus, this is only for Gamecube, so don't go around store to store looking for it on a different system.

An absolutely gorgerous game
Gameplay fun and challenging if a bit awkward.
Music is fantastic,
Graphics are fantastic,
The very principal of the game is absolutely genius.
YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME to complete a collection of great gamecube games.

I'll start by saying that I truthfully had no problem beating this game's stroy mode. I've read in countless reviews about people having more trouble beating this one than the first. But I guess when it comes down to it, it just depends on how much luck you're carrying around.

Because that's all you need. Blind freakin' luck. Most of the time, in the story levels, I just said screw it and rolled straight ahead and somehow made it through the goal in onw piece. An example would be a certain level where you start on a platform, which leads to a lower platform where you will find a few buttons. These buttons are play, fast forward, rewind, etc., and ahead of these buttons, on the tip of the platform is the beginning of a giant cone, with a spiralling path for you to try and stay on carved into it. After about three tries, I kept finding myself rolling right off the edge, no matter what I did. So, instead of hitting something hard and breaking my videogame-playing hand, I decided I'd take a risk and just roll staight into the damn cone and hope for the best. And a few seconds later, I found myself on the platform at the end of the cone, with confetti exploding all around me. This tactic is very useful for alot of the game's levels.

On the multiplayer side, this game shines. While the flying minigame is better in the first Super Monkey Ball, the rest of the games are better in this installment in the series. My favorite being the monkey bowling. You can play with either a straight, regualar lane, or a crazy lane, that does an assortment of different things.

But when it comes down to it, if you enjoy having fun with your friends for hours on end, pick this game up immediatley. Or don't and be bored. The choice is yours...again.
