I just got this game abotu 2 days ago and it was a disappointment. It was just a monkey rolling around. You compete in little stages that only take about 2 minutes to complete. It

I was 9 when I bought this- I had previously wanted a game (I can't remember the game, unfortunately.), I happened out to pick one that looked pretty interesting. It was Super Monkey Ball 1.

Judging by myself, I had a pretty hard time. I haven't played it three years, because I had been playing it wrong.

Here is, you're a monkey in a ball, rolling to get in the goal. It may look kiddy, but is fun to master, and the physics are great. 6 mini-games in the original, 12 in the sequel, the replay value can get pretty high if you're into the games.

The mini-games are:
Monkey shot (like Time Crisis), Monkey Boat, Monkey Tennis, Monkey Soccer, Monkey Dogfight, Monkey Bowling, Monkey Golf, Monkey Billiards, Monkey Target, Monkey Fight, and Monkey Race.

As I sit and watch the records on Vortiginous (http://server1.vortiginous.com/smb/), mostly by the famed Packattack, both games are fun.

If you want somethinnng more challenging to master, Super Monkey Ball 1 is your best bet. If you love mini-games, go for #2.

I bought Super Monkey Ball 2 at my local one-stop shopping center for $20. After playing this game for about one hour, I decided that it's just not any fun. However, the graphics are OK and the character dialogue is somewhat entertaining, for the first few minutes anyway.

Super monkey ball 2 fast.

SEGA has done it again their coming outwith new games every time you get the original version they already did this to dreamcast.Eventhough the game came out to fast I'v heard a lot of good things about thisgame and saw some of the pictures myself and there amazing.With over 100mini games this is a game you should enjoy hours of playing it!

This is a great game. We also own the original Monkey Ball and couldn't wit for this one to come out. We were not diappointed! The games from the original are improved and updated and the new games are fantastic.

Well, I gave this 3 stars because of my age. Were I younger (as in a decade or two) my reflexes would have led me to give the game at least 4 stars. For those who are older or who have less than masterful dexterity, be warned that the game relies on the latter completely.

Im not going to get all technical. Or Tell you a bunch of cool details about this game. Im just going to tell you to buy this Game! But wait, if you are looking for a serious game here, you are not in luck. And my advice to you is go somewhere else. But if you are looking to have fun (and for those out there who are 18+) this is your chance to be a kid again. If you are a parent, no need to worry, this is a harmless fun filled insanely addictive game. Great one player, and even better multi-player game here. They dont just call this a party game for nothing. My personal favourites are; Monkey Golf, Billiards, Dogfight, Target and Boxing. For strategy and a layed back Atmospere check out Golf and Billiards. Great competition games here. And both stick true to real golf and Billiards with cartoon Monkey Graphics. Very Creative! But if you are just looking to kick your friends butt check out Monkey Fight and Boxing where you get to shoot and punch the living day lights out of here each other. But last but not least a true classic here in Monkey Target. Strategy is key here, along with risking it all for the insane points. Really competitive and fun. Just a blast, to put it as simply as i can. That is just the begining of what this game has to offer. First player is very very complicated when you get into the higher levels. Truely a game that will take many many hours to get bored of. But im willing to bet you will keep coming back even years from now. So hold onto this game.. you might find yourself bringing back old memories and creating new ones with this game. Thats about all i can say. Buy this game, Enjoy this game, and dont be afraid to get a little out of hand :)

super money ball 2 is one of my favorites for my game cube. I enjoy the Raceing section of the game because you can race for fun or in a tournament. You can play by yourself or with a friend. Pick the monkey you want to be there are about five choices. when raceing try to avode the little white bumpers that stand straight up on the race track because if you hit one you will more then likely go head over heals off the side of the race way. When raceing you can also get different items that you may through at your apponent such as to slow them down or make their monky ball into a monkey cube . I would recomend this game for kids "NOT" adalts. if you are an Adault you may get board with this after the first week or so.

Fun but needs more!!

I rated this game 4-out-of-5-stars even though it was highly addictive and provided loads of challenges. The great thing about this game is that there is virtually no violence and it's a great for anyone, any age. The mazes and different challenges actually require you to use your mind by strategizing your game plan, which many games do not allow you to due instinctual shoot-em up game battles. With that said, the addiction of this game is unbearable and after 10 hours I finally finished, which leads to my 4-star rating because after your done beating the game, your left with wanting more. Thus Super Monkey Ball 2 should have been created longer or more challenging. But I guess that's what Super Monkey Ball 3 would provide!
