Skies of arcadia is a really great game. Its one of the finer games ive played in my time. I am a 25 yr old gamer. I really like the improved battles from the sega dreamcast version. you can also get 22 crew members on your own boat. The special moves are very impressive, although the ship battles could use some work.

you dont have to worry about frequent battles in this game like in golden sun. one thing that i especially like, though, is the fact that the characters stop in front of the enemies instead of going back to their positions so that they can do counter attacks. the ship battles are also one of the greatest parts of this game though they do not occur that many times.one bad thing, though, is that the missions are too easy and you really have to use items alot if you run out of magic. over all, this game is one of my favorites (besides metroid prime and time splitters 2). it could improve on the graphics but then again, it is a dreamcast remake with only slight improvements.

this is game rocks its very good rpg and ur hearing this from me the rated master. I can tell you this this game made a big apperence in dreamcast and was 1 of the best rpgs. Now that its on gamcube it rocks. Buy it, play it, own it

if you are planning on buying this game,be aware that if
you are the kind of peson who gives up esily,DONT BOTHER
BUYING IT! also, if you dont like final fantasy dont buy it.
its well worth 50 dollars.

This game was very disapointing. The accesories don't explain it well, and the battle feature stinks.

I have never played the Dream cast version let alone own one.
But I really recomend this game for people who like challenges.
Im still looking for the Green Moon CRYSTAL.But it is just since I don't know how to find The Golden Man.The story of this game is very unique.The only flaw I see in this game is the so many random battles.That would not be a problem if the monsters were stronger.But if you liked the DC version you will like this game.

Were this game to come out not on the Dreamcast but on the PS2 upon it's original release....then right now people would be enjoying Skies of Arcadia Part 3.

Simply put: this is a great game. Great gameplay. Great story. Great characters. Yes, the graphics are outdated. So F'in what. If you are in any way a fan of RPG's...then you owe it to yourself to get this one and enjoy all that this game has to offer.

Standard turn-based RPG battle system, check. Damsel and world in distress, check. Numerous random battles, ugh.

Yet, this game transcends the sum its parts. The story is absorbing, the sail, explore, and discover new worlds aspect is engrossing, and the playable characters (yup, all three of them) are endearing. Isn't that why RPG enthusiasts get such a kick out of this genre. It's the disparate, loner characters, banding together and forming a family, and along the way (if the game is any good) they become our friends.

I highly recommend this game. Look past the out-dated graphics, and keep pushing through those random battles, because what unfolds is definitely worth the trouble.

not much to say, it's just a great game that deserved a whole lot more sales than it got. if you're the type to play true great games regardless of advertising/sales, you should not pass this game up.
