Possibly my least favorite bond game, even rogue agent is better. i don't like bonds appearance, the guns, the people, the only good things about it are multiplayer.

Good Multiplayer Game

This is an excellent James Bond game for multiplayer mode. Unlike what other people said, the maps in multiplayer are not that tiny and they can feature AI bots if you turn them on. But this game SUCKS for single player. The graphics are extremely bad and the guns suck. You can't even tell who is supposed to be James Bond!!!! It looks like Pierce Brosnan but it sounds like Roger Moore or something. The plot is also very weak. Another bad thing is that this game says it has the golden gun and all it is is just a pistol painted gold! The game is in 2nd person shooter which also SUCKS. I only recommend this game if you intend it for multiplayer use with 2+ friends. The last bad thing is that after your enemys die they just dissapear which is stupid. But it is what it is.

Not a masterpiece but a good game

This game isnt a master piece but its a good game. Well I liked the weapons and the plot that involved Malprave and the clones. Before my friends and I played Halo we played this multiplayer all the time. Our favorite multiplayer game was VIP, it was so fun that we even killed our own VIP sometimes. The campaign was also good, but if you want to find out more you should play it. The thing that was bad were the graphics they were terrible even for its time.
If your interested in playing this game now you probly could rent it off the gamefly.com but I also have seen them at stores.

single player= Amazining Single player. 12 missions, but it feels like there is more. The missions combine being on foot, in a car, and even in a tank!!!!!

multiplayer= Multiplayer is also amazing. You can Q-claw (grapple) anywhere. The bots can be easy medium and hard. There is a lot of different games from just plain shooting to defusing bombs. The maps are gig and amazing. Plus, the mini-map is easy to read and VERY, VERY, helpful.

weapons= The weapons sets is amazing. There are grenade and rocket launchers. Plus sniper rifles, grenades, pistols, photon cannons, and machine guns.

Controls= The controls are annoying sometimes, but you get used to it. The only thing different from most shooting games, is the looking around controls (control stick and c-stick).

Better than Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, but still a bland FPS

I'm not really big on the Bond games. Most of then are no more than ordinary first person shooters with licensed characters. I guess since the original Goldeneye game on the Nintendo 64 was so popular they felt like they shouldn't stray to far from the winning formula.

In this game we have a generic interpretation of Bond involved in a dull plot involving clones and kidnapped world leaders. We go through several different locations but only some of them are cool and none are used to their full potential. There are a couple of driving levels too, but the street design is just uninspired.

The best thing about FPS games is the ability to just go berserk and shoot-up the place, hoping to catch the baddies in the crossfire. But you don't really get a lot of ammo and reloading is painfully slow sometimes. And the destruction you can inflict upon the environment is very limited.

I can really only recommend AUF to Bond fans. The rest of you have soooo many other choices for superior FPS games, you don't want to waste your time with this one.

Great Bond Game!

Okay, So. I've played the first couple levels of the famed "Goldeneye" beat "Agent Under Fire" and am on level 19 on "Everything or Nothing." I will tell you right now, this is not the best bond game. BUT, this is certainly not the worst. This is an excellent FPS, full of excitement and challenging gameplay. The only reason for my 4 star instead of 5, is that Bond isn't recognizable, he's not an icon like Brosnan, or Connery or Moore. He's generic. In fact, if it weren't for the occasional one liner or the great Bond score, it could pass as a another game altogether. In the end, this is an incredible gaming experience, and should not be passed up, but if you want true Bond feel, try Everything or Nothing.

I think the great hard game.I thought lots of levels were not fun or too hard but every level turned out to be fun. It's fun if you can get golds or platunuim.

Agent Under Fire was the first James Bond title to appear on current-generation consoles, and its a decent if not spectacular effort. This game is notable in that it doesnt feature Pierce Brosnan's likeness as James Bond, but an entirely new face that seems to draw from all the James Bond actors over the years.

Really, this is an average shooter all around. The enemy AI isn't particularly intelligent, and the graphics are decent but not noteworthy. Bond comes with some extra gadgets, but most of these seem like gimmicks without much versatility. There's a very sci-fi-ish plot here involving clones that seems to stretch believability even by Bond standards, and its capped off by a disappointing non-ending.

The best parts of the game though, are the driving and rail-shooter stages between the first-person levels. At the time it was a pleasant surprise to get a nicely produced driving engine in a shooting game, and rail shooters are always fun for their simplicity in an old-school, arcade kind of way.

I had fun with Agent Under Fire, and its an entertaining game if you go in with the right expectations. Later Bond games are much improved, suggesting that EA did learn from their time with this one. Bond fans can add this to their collection without worry, but hardcore gamers should look for an overall stronger experience.

Agent Under Fire is the best Bond game!So far...............
