This is the coolest game ever. However it is very addicting. It's very funny to have your Sim a nobody and then oneday people are asking for their autographs!

I recently bought the game, and have been playing it for awhile now. Superstar is not all it appears to be. Socializing is abit harder now, and in order to make your way up the Superstar ladder, you have to try and try (and try and try) in order to become superstar. Even then your Charisma, Body and Creativity have to be at least 3 before you start out.The new objects are great and I like tt you can build a film studio, though only in Studio Town, which is not bad too. Overall the game is good, and I really cant wait to buy "Makin' Magic", the 'sequel' of sorts.

I bought the sims superstar and love it. With 150+ new items and with the new 'tabloid' feature this game deserves a 5/5!!! The new STUDIO TOWN is great with fashion catwalks, rock stages, music video and movie sets. You can even meet celebs like Avril, Christina and Marilyn Monroe!!! You know your sim is a superstar when he/she gets 1 of 3 awards presented by Marilyn herself. Oh, and watch out for those OBESSED FANS. If you have a butler, it could get ugly. Overall a great game that never gets old.

This game is a lot of fun, though there is no cheat to becoming a superstar. If you really would like to become one you need to have a lot of patience and time, plus a lot of simoleans for your sims to buy things with. Though there is one way to cheat to becoming an absolute superstar, when you buy Makin Magic Expansion Pack, there is a spell you can use to become a superstar. Don't get too excited, though, because you need black roses (from obsessed fan) to make the spell! This game becomes very fun though when you have a superstar. I personally have not made a person become a superstar, but have had a superstar marry into the family. It is especially fun when you win your first Oscar/Emmy!

This expansion pack is great. You get to live "The High Life". With spa treatment and sushi. If that's not enough you can chill will stars like Christina and Avril. You build relationship with the stars and gain bigger and better fame. The people can be critical but keep on trying! If you do this will be so worth!

The game ands a whole new aspect to the game. If your sim would like to be an actor/actress, you can do that. But, then that is your JOB! You loose your old job, so be ready. Also, it takes awhile to load, like always. If you were sad from the unleashed game, then this should perk you up. This game adds the studio area, which is 50 simolions if you are not an actor and free for actors. The only problem I had with the game is if you want to be a model, you have to be a singer first. You have to go into all kinds of different fields in order to get where you want to be. That doesn't seem right to me. You can't be an actor until you have a star rating of a specific amount. The only way it can be raised is by: singing. Then you can model. Then you can act, or do a commercial. This is one that you HAVE to get!

The Sims Superstar is great, but there are some things that can be annoying. For instance, the fact that you have a stupid guy named the obsessed fan follow you around if you don't have 130 fan points. But its got loads of new stuff, and its mostly pretty awesome. Just to say, I think most of you know these cheats, but I'm going to put them down. (you type these in the box in the corner that you get from typing at the same time ctrl, c, caps lock, and shift)

Money Cheat; rosebud;!;!;!; etc,etc.

Good Mood Cheat; MOVE_OBJECTS_ON then you go to the buy mode, sell your Sim, then go back to live mode and click on their faces. You can also sell trash and dirty dishes and old newspapers and junk.

The Sims Superstar is the best expansion pack yet! Now you can be a superstar! (A rock star, a supermodel, an actor) But if you become a superstar without making friends, the dreaded "Obsessed Fan" comes. He follows you wherever you go (and I mean wherever). It is very fun becoming a Superstar. I recommend this game. Buy it and you will be happy.

Surprised they released such a buggy product.

I bought this game tonight & haven't been able to play it more than 5 minutes. It froze my computer once but the biggest problem is just closing the application spontaneously. It's happened several times to my increasing frustration. If this doesn't improve I'll be taking it back to the store.

My computer is a 1700 Athalon 512 RAM Windows 98SE machine.

This expansion pack provides so much more then all the other ones... You can live your dreams of fame and earn alot of money!! $$$$ But when you get up to the 2nd star you kind of have trouble modeling because the photopher is very picky, and you only have 3 try's to make them happy... Well good luck folks!!
