this game still has me in awe and im only finishing the first disc. i see many complain about not being able to control neo, but how much fun would that be if you could endlessly fly away? it is much harder as a regular human in the matrix. One of the best parts is that in most games, the character you choose is a matter of choice,however, in this game, they each have their own side of the stary for you to play through, giving you twice the matrix action.all around fun and [booty] kicking power that we all classify only as...The Matrix

This is an awsome game, with tight bullet-time effects and a half-way decent replay value. I found it easy with Niobe, but Ghost's levels get harder. But the hardest part is...hacking. Yes, you can use a 'hacking program' to unlock character, weapon, and car bios, drop weapons into levels, activate cheat codes, unlock multiplayer battles (Like a cool Agent Smith Vs. Morphius one), and even get a sword for melee combat. But be careful, it can be frustrating. You just solve the puzzle of a lifetime, then trackers get to you and you lose all your hacking data. Great. Still, it's really fun.

I'm just renting this game. the controls are very easy and fun to use. graphices are asome. the sound riases the roof. Story cool. Then why did I rated 4 instead of 5 you ask? 2 day i'd had it amd beated it. This thing is 2 disks long for crying out loud! If the only they made the missiens a littel bet longer it would be a 3 disc game. I know the reason it's slow. (Dane it) The movie clips are DVD clear. The game isen't made after the game. it's like a sequel. it shows stuff that goes alone the movie.In the movie it's goes with neo and morfeues. in the game it goes with neopole and goust. same story but on diffret side of it. cool game but short.

the graphics are really good in this game. the game play is awsome doing the matrix stunts. by using focus you can walk on walls, doge bullets and all kinds of attacks and airial moves. the game after a while does get boring though. after u just keep on going to get something or acomplish somethign and all there is are the men who are easy to stop. it does get boring. so the replay value is low. its a very fun game though. so defantly think about buying it.

In terms of gameplay and controls alone, I give this game one star. Innumerable loading screens and tips that interrupt the action, confusing and often contradictory control layouts make it nearly impossible to pull off the moves you want... I'd like to go kung-fu on Shiny Entertainment, but even if they were unarmed, I think I'd lose with these controls. Add to this the horrifying graphics and lackluster, crackly audio, and you'll see why this game shames the name Matrix.

Hi, my name is andrew and I got this game the day it came out (I am a big matrix fan) and when I opened it up there were two discs
one disk that had the game on and one dist that had speatial features on it. well the game is the best game I have so far (and I think it will be my favorite forver) this game is so cool, the only problem is that you can't foight as neo or anybody from the first movie. you can play as niobe or ghost. if you press the slowmotion button and press other buttons you do super moves and far out jumps and stunts, you get tons of guns and You get to beat the crap out of gaurds and swat teams. I could not stop playing untill I got a head ache, for staring at the scrren so long, it has the original score sound track and wen you get to really cool parts the music turns into cool techno music. it also has the sound effects form the movie and the real voices form the real actors who play their parts.

graphics 10/10 it looks so real and when you are in slow motion you can see the buletes with the shock waves behind them.

sound 10/10 it has great music greadt sound effects, it really sounds like your in the movie theater

controls 9/10 I would give it a ten butt when you drave it hard to control and it is takes alittle while to get a hang of it, other than that they are perfect.

loading time 10/10 it is very quick so there is not alot of waiting.

Fun 100/10 thats right if you like a great action game with kunfu and shooting, and slow motion than you will love it bulettes flying past you head doing a flip off the wall and kicking I guy straight across the room, and blowing up helicopters, and flying upside down shooting gaurds in stow motion with a machine gun.

if you like action games or if you just like the matrix get this game.

p.s. I know what some of ;you are thinking "well I think I want to rent it frirst so I know what its like" well that is what I was thinking but I thought that it would be good I went and got it and it was the perfect game. if you think it is not going to be what you think than think again it is more that you could imagine.

take my word for it just buy it.

I have very mixed feelings about this game. The first and most important problem with this game is this: it's too short. What the game does, it does very well. The fighting engine is well done, the weapons are cool, the martial arts moves and bullet time acrobatics are as fun to watch as they are to execute. Niobe and Ghost can indeed run along walls, make huge lateral dives at enemies with guns blazing and snatch guns out of cops' hands before promptly breaking their necks. The movie bits are fun to watch. It's nice to get a little insight into Niobe's and Jason's characters. However, the game leaves you with a profound sense of "that's it?"

Oh, if only the game were a full length action game in the tradition of Perfect Dark or Metal Gear Solid. Not that the plot isn't interesting. Like the second movie, it gets darn confusing at times, but it certainly is neither boring nor predictable. But there are gaps.

Towards the end, I get the feeling the Wachowski's were running out of time. The entire sequence in which you pilot the hovercraft is a total mess. Graphically confused, totally pointless and not that much fun. However, leading up to that, the game is quite good. Aside from what, in my opinion, amounts to a too small part for the agents (the Smith section could have been a little more involved, but it was still good), a sense of confusion about the plot and, like I said, not enough length I like the game. I think. Do I sound confused? I am. If you really love the Matrix, get the game. If you feel anything less than totally infatuated with the series, I recommend renting it to try it out. You will finish the game in the week before you have to return it.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I have played this game for 3 hours and am extremely disappointed! The graphics are horrible, just plain UGLY by today's standards. It has a camera system that will give you a headache. I am a big Matrix fan and the story may be interesting but it doesn't do the movie justice. Honestly, this game has the worst graphics I've ever seen on the Gamecube. I am an avid hardcore videogamer and the gameplay itself is nothing new or innovative. It feels like you've "been there and done that in other games" and playing this is not entertaining but frustrating at times. I only wish that Dr. Doak and his team (Goldeneye 007, and Timeplitters 2) had looked over this game.
What were the Wachowski Bros. thinking ???!!!
they just want your ...$$$money$$$
If you are a smart consumer, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

I've only played the demo, but this game is coming very well. It has a uniqe combat system, and after combos the motion eventually goes into slo-mo. very cool
