A very good game

ENter the Matrix is a third person actio adventure game that brings the genre to a whole new level. In the game you play as eithr Niobe or Ghost. You will spen most of your tim on foot, fighting SWAT and Police officers. This is more exciting than it sounds, as you will be able to run on walls, do spinning kicks, cartwheels, and much much more. You can also slow the game down using focus, which will essentially slow the game down to bullet time so you can see bullets coming at you and so you can do really cool moves. You will also have access to guns, as well as your fists. I took the one star off becasue the driving levels weren't too good, and the flying levels as Niobe would have been a lot better if you had a third person view. Buy this game anyway. Definatly worth your money

The Matrix game is the best game i ever played in my whole life! The graphics are amazing, and the fighting is incredible. There is over 20 weapons that can easily kill your enemy. For example, the gas choker, you shoot it any where and it will suck up all the oxygen from out of the enemy's body. If you use focus everything will slow down and you will move faster then a speeding bullet. So it will be easy to kill! The game also shows you movie clips you have never seen before! And if you beat the game it will show you a preview of Matrix Revolutions.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SEE THE MOVIE!!!!!

THis is a very sweet game, but ONLY if you see the movie before you play it...you will apreciate it more. So make sure you watch the movie before you play the game...

Okay, this game is awesome and deffinately a must for any Matrix fan. The gameplay is amazing, the sound is good, with music and acting from the movies (including game exclusive scenes with the real actors), and the animations are decent. One of the small problems I have with it is the lobby in the Post Office, when you shoot a piller a whole tile falls off of it, that was too much. Also, the graphics aren't too great, they are pretty jaggy in some of the movie scenes, but in the game it runs smoothly.

Note to the people complaining about the lighting, you can adjust the brightness and gamma in-game and it looks alot better. It is under the options and video.

Ok this is the real info i tested the game and it is really cool. also if u loved the movie u'll love the game. Also an awesome feature is that in the case you get a bounus dvd that has some cool animations from the new movie

I am very surprize for the recent biased reviews. Most of the reviews are giving this game 4 to 5 stars even though Gamecube game wasn't even out yet. I am wondering have you guys actually played this terrible game. I mean the Gamecube version has to be one of the lamest reasons for turning a buck. The X-Box and PS2 versions are the only ones thats worth your paycheck. The GamrCube graphics is very comparable to the height of PSone days. It seems that the Gamecube version was short changed during May 15 release. This could be the result of bad PS2/Gamecube code transfer. Overall, the Matrix games for all three systems has the feeling of being rushed (esp. GC). GC game is only worth playing if you really wanna watch the 1 hour of live footage. I mean really wanna watch it!!

I loved this game and think that anyone who likes the matrix, likes video games, or wants to find out more of the story of matrix reloaded should buy this game and beat it with both characters so you know even more of the story. all of the moves in focus mode are so cool. you can run on walls and dive while shooting and do cartwheels off walls while shooting.

The Matrix universe is more enterable than ever!

This game is the best! With the cool stunts you can pull off, it's never tiring! With a wide veriaty of stunts, such as:

These are the "MATRIX" or "FOCUS" mode tricks:

Running straight at the wall while in "MATRIX" mode and you'll run straght up the wall and then flip down onto the ground, great for confusing enemies.

While cops are or Agents are shooting at you, go into "MATRIX" mode to see the bullets and dodge them.

While the cops or Agents are are like almost in front of you, go into "MATRIX" mode and sort of nudge toword the wall or table and press kick, you're character will push off the wall and do a kick right in the guy's face.

While in "MATRIX" mode, run at an angle towards the wall and you'll go up on the wall and run on it, you can either stay on the wall and dodge all the bullets coming at you, or you could press jump anthe guy or girl will will do this kinda weird cartwheel off the wall. You could choose to shoot during that, or not.

If you're approaching a hord of enemies, you could do this:
go into "MATRIX" mode and do the dive jump right into the middle of the group, if you stay in the mode, you'll sort of float and you can turn around with a gun out while in the air, you could circle around and shoot them. It works every time. This is my favorite.

If you want to shoot while dodging bullets, you could do this:
Hold down L and R, side step and press B. You'll do a cartwheel and you can shoot if you want to. Note: This trick can only be pulled off if you have a gun in your hand.

Pros: You can do insane stunts.
The game is super fun.
The cheats are cool.
It looks great.
IT'S THE MATRIX!

Four Words: Game... of... the... Year. The graphics are smooth and detailed, the story is vivid and engaging, and the controls (albiet difficult at first) allow the player to become the characters. I only wish that they could have made multiplayer a little better, but hey, there's always room for improvement, right? (No body's perfect)
A wide variety of semi-automatic weaponry, kick martial arts, and bullet time to boot. What more could you ask for?
