Good all around game

This is a great game for gamers who have a half hour a day, at least. When I was still trying to beat it, I played an hour a day for about two weeks. I think it's a good mix of driving, shooting, hand-to-hand combat, and adventure. I thought playing it as Niobe was much harder for the last part of the last mission, but I think all around it's harder as ghost. The hacking mode offers a fun activity if you wan't to test your skills as a amateur hacker, but it only took me an hour to figure out what I think is everything.The only problem I had with this game was playing as Ghost in the power plant, when you have to give Niobe cover with the sniper rifle, because when playing as Niobe, that part is not very hard, even without Ghost's cover. Same with the sewers as either character, in Abyss, you have to kill two snipers to protect someone. I found this strangely challenging.

this game is a lot of fun. there are so many different moves and levels that it never gets old. granted, it is a wee bit short. however, if you play video games on a regular basis than you've probably played much shorter games. i have been hearing that this game is too easy. those people most likely played it on easy. they call it easy for a reason. however, if you are looking for a challenge, the game offers a regualr and hard mode as well as easy. those people who don't like because it is too easy, better take a look at the menu screen again. this game is a well deserved five out of five and i recommend to all people who love the matrix theme and/or like to beat people up in video games. as a reminder, if you want a challnge, DON'T PLAY ON EASY!!! not that difficult.

I've seen shooter/action games that were too violent and bloody/gorey, but this game wsa good. Though there's quite a bit of violence, it's not very violent compared to games like Vice City and The Getaway. Also, the game play ROCKS!!![.] (PS, Chose Niobe if you want good martial arts, and chose Ghost if you want to be good at firearms!!![.])

The Enter The Matrix video game is one of a kind and will be a pioneer of new technology to the gaming world just as the Matrix movies are to the film industry. The character selection is intresting because it allows you to choose between two new characters (Niobe and Ghost)oppose to the familiar characters of the Matrix trilogy(Neo,Morpheus,and Trinity)which opens up a whole new world of personalities on board Niobe's ship the Logos. The best part about the game is the unique "focus" feature which allows the player to have special attack combos and see things in slow motion or "bullet time." There is also a fun and complex Hacking system so you can hack just like Neo and Trinity in the Matrix series. It is also cool that the game directors tied Enter the Matrix tho the Matrix:Reloaded. Some things in the game are essential to knowing the whole truth behind the Matrix world. I love how Andy and Larry Wachowski along with the cast and crew of the Matrix pitched in to make this game great. They use Ghost and Niobe's real voices (Anthony Wong,Jada-Pinkett Smith) and have film footage made just for the game and also some from the movies. This game opens up the world of the Matrix. Just as Neo said it, "Whoa"

this game is one of the best games ive ever played. i would give the graphics 8/10. the music 9/10. the weapons 9/10. the controls 10/10. i love the maxtrix mode where u can dodge bullets. something i would change though is to make the main character Neo and not Niobe and Ghost. Also some levels are a bit too easy. i recomend that u buy this game.

I am a huge fan of the Matrix movies and The Animatrix, and could not wait to play the game. I had been wanting a new game system to update with my PS2, and I decided to get the GameCube previously owned for only 88.99 and picked up a copy of the Matrix game for 49.99 (Kinda expensive) and could not play it fast enough. Its easy the first few times, but I recommend you go to gamefaqs.com and get some guides to help you, because you will need it. The sound quality is amazing the graphics are nicer considering the game is on 2 small discs and the video quality while not flawless is enough to make your jaw drop. I highly recommend this game to everyone! It is rated T because of the violence but there is also an abundance of language even though the box says only MILD LANGUAGE, it should have said STRONG LANGUAGE! Recommended for ages 15+

This game truly does rule all, I would give it a ten if I could. This game does have something weird to it, the levels are basically divided into sections, some sections could take 5-10 minutes, while some could take less than 1. Anyway, there are HUNDREDS of different moves you can execute, some of the best including Focus mode, which is basically just slowing everything down, and enables you to pull of matrix-style moves like bullet dodging and wall-running. Overall this game takes roughly 14-17 hours to complete the game with both characters and unlock everything. Which brings up the unique code system, called "Hacking mode" which lets you hack into the matrix, giving you nearly endless options, and always something new to try.

The following reasons for my satisfactory rating are in a list for your convience: The Bullet Time function is well designed but has a time limit and causes the gamer to become dependant on it, the martial arts moves are quite limited and it feels as if you are doing the same moves over and over, there is a load of guns used to blow people away with and it is very entertaining, there are three levels of difficulty , but I suggest doing each one a month apart so everything feels fresh, the Hacking system is extremely cool and allows for some pretty great stunts when you have infinite everything, a multiplayer mode is accessible through the Hacking system, You CANNOT play as Neo (major bummer), the plot ,as a singular game, is confusing and often feels like the game is a series of missions strung losely together by very well acted cinematic scences, as a whole to the story it is much more like a work of art by the Wachoskis, the car chase levels are poor compared to some in Nightfire and act mainly to move the plot (which is nonexistent!) along. If you are one of those people who will buy this game no matter what anyone says, you may be disappointed because it is not like the movies interms of overall quality.

right after i saw the movie i thought about checking out the game. i was amazed by the focus moves and the dodging of bullets. the graphics are probably the worst part of the game.the guns arent that bad and the music is awesome.at the begining i was abit dissapointed that u didn't get to play as the one ,butlater i really didn't care that much. i reccomend u buy this game.it is one of the best games ever.

Some one a long time ago should have made this game because it is on of the best games i ever played. Matrix was the first game i got for Gamecube and i hope all the other games are like Matrix. I give the graphics a 10/10. The nice thing about matrix are focus time which means you could slow down and dodge bullets,the weapons in matrix are very good and real,the story line is very good as you play either niobe or ghost and they are different i depends on who you chose. The fighting in the game is a work of art. The bad thing about matrix is the police and security guards are two easy to beat even onhard, Another is the agents why would they put them in the game when you cant beat them and the first level of the game is very dark i wish there was a flashlight someone could give you. Once and for all matrix is one of the easiest and one of the best games out there now for gamecube in all i rate matrix a 9/10.
