Crazy Sims go Downtown

This is a fun addition to the Sims 2. I played the Sims original and was loooking forward to the Sims 2. I found it a bit lacking - they are definitely milking the expansion franchise. Not much came with the original and each expansion has added things that might have been better off included with the Sims 2 at the start. Having a car is worthwhile, and long awaited. The Nightlife is amusing, with karaoke and bowling. The new social interactions are also nifty. There are some AI glitches, and the game is a memory hog. But definitely worth it if you love your Sims.

Best Expansion Pack out there!!!

The Sims 2 Nightlife is by far the best expansion pack in the Sims 2 franchise. I own all of the expansion packs. And this one is the best. If you are thinking about buying more than here is my rankings of the Sims 2 expansion packs- 1.Nightlife 2.Seasons 3.Pets 4.University 5.Open For Buisness. In Nightlife you can buy cars, go out on dates, go to lots in Downtown such as a Nightclub, a Bowling Alley, A diner, and so much more. Recently, I had trouble with my computer and I could only have one expansion pack, and of course I chose Nightlife. My Advice for the Sims 2 Nightlife is to Buy It!

This is a pretty good game. I really like the dating, and all of the interactions in the car is really cool. Some of my sims already have a sports car. I really, really like the new cloths and hairstyles, and overall I rate it a four. I think they could have added a few more interesting things, but I think that it is worth the money.

OMG! i lov this game!!your sims can become vampires!thats totally awsome!they can still be normal too though.anyways there is lots of cool places like love spots and dance spots and bowling,karioki spots!!nice dining places and misc.. you can go on dates and be timed on your dates and then be graded the better the score the higher realationship!OMG!!you get cars too thats my most favorite part.there is pick up trucks,mustangs,cars and vans.you can build garages for it.the WORST part is that it takes forever to load last time i played it took 45 min to load.Sometimes it will load fast.this game gets you soo into it that i started too play at 9 in the mornin till 7 at night!!THIS IS A GREAT CHRISTMAS PREASANT!!i hope i helped a little!!Happy shopping!!

this game completly rocks my sox off cuz...well...who wouldn't like to go downtown and become a vampire and what not. My favorite part would have to be the vampires next comes the cars then night clubs and last but not least the new items and clothes/hairstyles. I only got the game a week ago and im on love with it

The Sims2:Nightlife lives up to the Sims expansion pack franchise. It enhances existing gameplay functionality, incorporate new objects and even a new sub-neighborhood. The addition of vampires is pretty cool, too.

Tonight was the first night I had ever played the Sims 2. And I got HOOKED so quickly it's not even funny! This game is amazing and worth every bit of your money! I love it!!!!

Buy for the items, not the activities

The new items (and the opportunity to become a vampire) are the highlight of this game, but the dating / relationship / downtown elements aren't that much fun. Compatibility adds a new dynamic that can create fun new challenges, but mostly I just find it annoying.

I love the sims and when the Sims 2 came out it was even better. The best part for me is to build things and decorate. If you are like me you may be a bit disappointed. There are over 125 new objects, but they are not that exciting to me. I wish they would have made more new furniture and fewer pictures. Also I don't know if there is a cheat to avoid this, but you don't have many options for your driveway. I would like to have twist and things or be able to choose the size of it. It seems like it is either to long or too short. Either way I don't regret buying the new expansion. I can't wait to build a bowling alley, but it's not 5 stars. I WANT PETS!!!!! One more thing that is cool, there is a new tool to make hills for your landscape.

I'm glad that they finally gave the option for the characters to have cars-that was long over due. The portion about chemistry is a bit irritating but the "turn-ons and turn-offs" are adorable! Any one who purchases this will be playing non-stop once you have it installed.
