I'm sitting on my hands, waiting for this game to come out.

I don't normally get excited over video games, but this one is going to be great! Smarter sims with genetic "DNA", aspirations and fears (wow!), pregnancies and aging? Not to mention houses with more than two stories, windows and doors on angled walls, and the amazing in-game customization of skins and objects! (Weather was removed, guys--they were having trouble with it raining inside the houses as well as outside. Maybe they'll put it back in later with an expansion pack.)

And Maxis is now making this available on a DVD, so you don't have to deal with a 4 CD pack. Very cool, Maxis. (So far, the DVDs are limited to pre-orders, per MaxisNeil.)

This is going to be the best sims game ever

I can't wait for the sims 2 to come out. i have every sims game and their fabulous exept the fact that you don't really have a choice of what their going to look like that changes in the Sim 2. I'm so excited

I am a BIG fan of Sims, I loved all the previous Sim games, and I played them basically everyday, never has my Sims game collected dust. Sims 2 is worth the price! I love Sims 2, but I regret to say that now since Sims 2 has moved into my home , my previous Sim games are collecting dust.

I got the Sims2 and it seems awesome, but it won't work on my pc. I have windows ME, so that could be it. It's worth the money if your pc will let it run

this game is great but i thought you could actually go to work but you get choices that reflect your day at work it would say "boss wants to come to your house for dinner but you don't know what to prepare....should you "invite over"? or "decline offer?" so i just wanted to tell everyone that. because i thought you could see them working or something.....

I LOVE IT! I PLAY FOR HOURS AND HOURS! IT REALLY HELPS ME DESIGN HOUSES AND SEE HOW THE FLOW IS ON THE FLOOR PLAN AND IT IS FUN TO ACTUALLY PLAY WITH THE FAMILIES! THIS WAS THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PURCHASED! TRY IT! YOU'LL LOVE PLAYING TOO!!!

I have Sims 2 and all of the expansion packs and add-ons. This game is definitely worth the investment. However, although it's highly fun and addictive at first, after awhile it does get boring. Each expansion and add-on will renew your interest if you do get bored with it. And don't forget to visit the official Sims 2 website for product updates (will fix most glitches you may encounter). There are many many MANY hints, tips, and cheatcodes for this game as well. Use them wisely, as cheats DO ultimately tend to ruin the challenge and hence, fun.

As if The Sims wasn't fun enough, the Sims 2 is the real deal. No one will think I'm wrong when the Sims 2 comes out. Customize your sim to even more extreme measures. You will have to buy it!! If you are the only kid on the block with this game, every kid will want to come and play it. Words can't even describe this fantastic game.

My son and I really enjoy playing this game. We have one problem. If you go to an area where a lot of people are, the game runs really slow. I have a new computer too!! There is so much going on that it could take 20 minutes just to get to a community lot and jump in the pool. But I am glad that we have it, my son enjoys it and we found some cool cheats that make the game even more enjoyable.

It's a great game overall everything is better and new, cooking is a lot of fun when you can make things like spaghetti, meatloaf, tv dinner, stuff like that! The teenagers can get acne, there is homework for you to do. Aspiration awards are awesome! It's really easy to make money, but is was too on the regular sims. If you don't know the code to get money it's no longer rosebud ;; it's motherlode. Anyway your sims can get older, have three neighborhoods to choose from (you can create more if you want to) Strangetown, Veronaville, and Pleasantview. There are aliens, and getting abducted is cool. The makeup, the facial expressions, clothes all are up to you! I always want to play this game on weekends but can't because it keeps crashing, this computer is too old to play sims 2 on. But it's awesome anyway!
