the sims 2 is a awsome game. it really does get you going, you can play it all day! it's really fun to make all of the houses and sims. and to control all of their lives. it is sad it see a sim die, but that's what make's it all the more realistic, having to go to all the stages of life is really fun. and it might even help you in really life, in a weird sort of way(which i don't think it's suppose to)

Well this game is good but the load times are just way to long. Also it is much more complicated than the orignial Sims. IT takes so much longer to do a lot of things. I like all the new features but i wish they weren't as coplex as they are. Even with the slow load tims, there is glitches and they view gets messed up alot. And one final thing it runs to slow!!!

I'm tired of hearing all these people yack about how the game crashes and its slow. What a load of hooey. They probably have an apple laptop with Pentium 1 technology. This is one of the greatest games i have ever played, a huge improvement over the first sims. I can't wait for the new expansion coming out! However, if you want to enjoy this game the most you should make sure your video card is up to date for it to run as smoothly as possible

I had not played the original Sims, but really liked the Sim City franchise and the original Sims was so popular I picked up this latest version. Boy am I dissapointed! This game takes all of the most boring parts of daily life and simulates them in a game. It is unbelievebly boring to manage your Sim while he/she eats, goes to the bathroom, sleeps and bathes which seems like what you spend the majority of the game doing. With some Sims just doing the menial tasks listed above can take most of the Sim day. I dont consider my real life that exciting, but it's much more interesting actually living my daily life than playing this simulated one.

I realize that the most of the reviews on here are very positive, but there are so many other games out there that have simulation and strategy themes that are much more interesting.

In the sims 2 you can do so much more stuff then in the first one. It is a terrific sequel to the number 1 best PC seller. You have to have a big system to play it though. IT requires Windows XP, Me, 2000, or 98, 800 MHz or faster, 256 MB or more, and at least 3.5 GB. I have a windows XP pentium 4 processor and the game runs very smoothly. It pauses for about 5 sec sometimes but its no biggy. Here are some things that you can do on this great game:

1. Have lifestages! You can be a baby, toddler, kid, teen, adult, and elder.

2. You have 6 aspirations: romance, knowledge, fortune, family, and popularity. Babies, kids, and toddlers have the grow up aspiration.

3. You have a lot more interactions. Your sims can makeout with others. They can woo-hoo and get pregnant. Sometims if you are lucky they will have twins. Teens can't wooh-hoo but they can makeout. When they woo-hoo you can't see anything.

4. You can make movies.

5. Your sims can die from a fire, old age, and many more things.

6. You can get abducted by aliens and come back pregnant with an alien baby(the men have the babies).

7. They can get engaged and married.

8. They can have house parties, birthday parties, and wedding parties.

9. Teen sims can sneak out of the house and sometimes they get arrested.

10. You can make your sims look like you because you can choose if your nose is big, small, round, long or you can choose if your lips are big, small, pouty....ect.

11. There are a lot of other things you can do too.

All the sims games are perfection! The graphics are way better. If you are looking forward into buying it...you should. I can't wait till The Sims University comes out(the expanision pack for the sims 2).

They look so real! and they grow old and dont just stay like they were like on the sims. there are more clothes and items and wallpapers and floors. it is realy really good i love it is the best game ever xx

I have almost all the sims games(Running a little behind) and i have loved them all, then I found out about the Sims 2 and I have been reading alot of the reaviews and I am so excited to see that everyone, well alomost everyone, thinks that this game is awsome! I am so going to put this on my Christmas list. I have been talking about it to my mom and she is happy that I am really wanting this but a little annouyed because I keep talking about it! Listen to what the people say! DO NOT THINK THAT THIS IS A BAD GAME!!!!! I LOVE THE SIMS! Also can you answer my question? If the babys cry for to long or too much will someone come and take them away like in the other games?

the sims 2 is one of the best games on the market,since i have gotten this game i have become addicted. i spend hours playing.
the only glitch i have had is the freezing of the game, when i frist installed it, other than that it has been running great.
