I am pretty mature, so the adult content in Sims 2 wasnt that big of a deal for me and my parents because I have older brothers and I know not to 'woohoo' with someone I met a few Simhours ago. But...heres a warning for parents of kids 13 and under.
Adult content: sims can kiss: peck, romantic, family kiss, up arm, make out, and smooch. sims can hug: friendly hug, romantic, leap into arms, and squeeze. Sims can do stuff in bed too: make out, kiss, cuddle, Woohoo (sex) and try for baby (they can get pregnant)
Also, it is not only males kissing females - you can make females kiss females and males kiss males.
Also, pets can woohoo if you have Sims 2 pets expansion---weird.
Just a warning to all parents! but, I have heard that there are parental controls you can use so they cant use woohoo features, etc. But, if your child knows about how its wrong and have taken "FLE" classes...its okay for them. Just dont let them use cheat codes that take off censoring (when they shower, use the restroom, etc.) or the horrible cheat that lets teens have sex/get pregnant.

I've been playing the Sims for SUCH a long time and it's kept me busy ever since. I think it's a really fun game, with all the new expansion packs coming out. But the thing that has me most excitied is The Sims 2. It looks like it's going to be a huge step from the regular Sims. DNA! Wow. WHen you really think about that... they're computer people! It's amazing.
The sims 2 is gonna be good!

when i bought this today i was excited to get home and install. it wouldnt install, i called maxis and they told me that in order to play and install the dvd version i would need a dvd player on my pc. I thought that the dvd special edition is just that it comes with an extra dvd. I dont have a dvd player on my computer so now i have to go back to the store tomorrow and hope that they exchange it for the regular sims 2. So guys unless you have a dvd player on ur pc dont buy the dvd edition.

I cant believe it! ive neva been so excited in my whole life! i mean the sims 2 it sounds absoluty fab! the only downfall is its not comeing out till march! i dont think i can wait that long! please hurry up with the making of it maxis! omg i am so excited! and people keep posting your reviews on it because i just love reading em! thanks!

I can't wait until The Sims 2 comes out!!! I'll be saving ma money up!!! I have ALL of the Sims expansion packs and they totally rock!!! But I know that the Sims 2 is gonna be WAY better. And I agree that even though I'm excited, they need to take their time to make it great!

I think that from the preview of the Sims 2 that it looks oustanding. The new DNA process is amazing. This C.D. Rom is something that you would never think of.

The Sims is groundbreaking, and the sims 2 is a great 2nd generation development. You'll be suprised at the advancement of characters and what they can do. It's more advanced,so it's a little harder to build, and design. But so much fun!

Ah, yes, finally The Sims 2 is going to be released ( August 15, 2004).
Note: if you've already purchased Makin' Magic, look at the 'Sneak Preview' disk.
The Sims 2 will have an entirely new 3-D graphics generator, so you will be able to look at your sim's world in any angle, from bird's eye view, to so close that you can see the food in the refridgerator. Also, you can use a 1st-person view,to see your sim's lover face-to-face, even while kissing!
Here's a list of other new things in The Sims 2:
-Dying of old age
-Struck by lightning
-3 story buildings(+ a rooftop level)
-New Create-A-Sim options
-In-game furniture/decoration customization option
-New ages(baby, teen, elder)
-New objects
-Divorces
-nieghborhood customization

I rate this a 5* game because I liked all the other The Sims games.
