Animal Crossing may not have good visuals or sound, but it more than makes up for it with its unusual and outstanding gameplay. You can buy furniture, plant and sell fruit, go fishing, play NES games (Donkey Kong, Balloon Fight, and more), and more. There's always something to do in Animal Crossing.

This is the most innovative and addictive game that I have ever played. It is childish in theme yet it will draw a grown man to interact with it. Right now, one might be soliloquizing to oneself that I am endorsing a game for immature teenagers or adults that never grew up. I give you my word that if you spend just 20 minutes playing this game, you will rush out in a frenzy to purchase it. Here are the specifications:

Gameplay: Very solid with minor areas of problem. Sometimes you will interact with a character, leave the acre, and then see him or her yet again in the following acre. Only little glitches like this exist.

Graphics: Surprisingly great at special events, but as for the ordinary, mediocre, but appealing to one's child within.

Sound: Very short but sweet tunes. Cheerful and happy compared to the horrific music that chills to one's bone marrow as found in the game "Resident Evil".

Educational Value: Not Applicable.

"Fun Factor" : Addictive and unique. The game will draw you make several times per day.

Overall Rating : 10/10, 5 stars.

i thought the game would be stupid so i went out just traded medil of oner for metriod prime (good trade i think) im good friends with a guy that works there he had the game and said it waz pritty good but theres a way to cheat and that to moove the clock back or somthin well any waz i get my memory card i got my town i think its grate how you braing you dude to other towns and get apples and other fruts and that good stuff it good a goodtimeing scdual like its dark when its dark it snowing its hot ist day time the leavs on the ground its really good i think this game is really good and i recamind it to any ont that has time on there hands

This game is more than just buying a house,working for others and shopping.There are all holidays,real-time events and lighting.For those who love violence and language,stay away!

This game was really fun for me. It was interesting the way it kept time on it's own. Also, the way people move in and out, the envirment, and the changing seasons. This game is a blast. I rate it 5 of 5 stars. Enjoy!

To tell you, this game was absolutly awesome. I loved it, and am still playing it. It almost never gets old. There are so many things to do, and you can't beat it in a day, it IS in real time!
Each day is a new adventure and each day something new happens!
The only disapointing this is the graphics. Their truely N64 quality, though the work on the GREAT gameplay makes up for that, which is a GREAT thing!

One of the coolest, oringal games out there right now. Nintendo did something good and there has to be a sequel to this game.

This has got to be the most inovative game to come out in a long time. Using the Gamecube's clock feature, Animal Crossing runs on REAL TIME. If it's 7:00pm out here, it's 7:00pm in the game too.

You are a human being begining a new life in an animal populated world. The first half-hour is pretty tedious because you have to name alot of stuff: Town, yourself, set birthdays, etc.. But once you get beyond that it can become very addictive.

Up to 4 players can live in the same town at once (but they can't play at the same time, you'll have to take turns). You can customize your hourse almost any way you want with hundreds of furniture, carpet, wallpaper, and nick-nacks to choose from.

Make money by shaking trees, digging it up from the ground, or doing jobs for other animals. You can fish, catch bugs, plant trees (and watch them grow over the course of several days) chop down trees, make your own clothing, erect signs with patterns, donate to the museum, and much much more!

Be sure to talk and write to all of the animals in your town. the more you do the more they will like you. If you don't talk to someone for a while they might decide to pack up and move to another town.

The one dissadvantage of the game, which is why i gave it a 4 star instead of 5, is the whole nifty clock thing. I'm a night-owl and don't usually get to play untill late at night, and by then all the stores have closed and people gone to sleep. That makes for boring gameplay. But chances are that you are not like me and will be able to play in the daytime, so it's really not that bad.

All in all this is a very fun game. It's not a game you can "beat" in a couple days. It's gonna take YEARS because the seasons change and so do all the items and equipment. Right now is kind-of a weird time to play because it will be winter when you first start playing, but restassured that spring will be coming soon! enjoy!

This game is SO addictive. All 7 of my nieces and nephews have this game on gamecube and on gameboy advance. This means we all get to have even more fun visiting eachother's towns, plus the island!
