should you buy spyro: season of ice

The plot of the game is to save faries from an evil doer who has frozen them. During the game you learn new moves and advance to diffent levels depending on how many faries you save. This game, to me, was amusing. There was not a lot of violence though I would not recomend it to smaller children. The graphics are good and the levels challenge you enough. All in all I would reccomend to people who like midly violent games.

I recommend it 2 every1, spyro is the best gba game out there. While camera angels are not alwayz behind spyro like in the PS game, so it is a little hard 2 control and annoying, it is not hard 2 get used 2. Spyro is fun, exciting and challenging, every world gets harder as your skills improve. Spyro is cute as well as dangerous making him an ideal character in a RPG for both girls and boyz. I hope every1 who buyz it is having as much fun as i am now. (watch out though this game CAN be addictive) >=D

I was hoping this game would be for ps2.but it wasnt.WHY THE HELK DID THEY MAKE THIS FOR GAME BOY ADVANCE!crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex and jak and daxter were much much better.this game is okay but this is not a must have!my friend jake helps me on this game.he says these games are funky.spyro3 is much much better than spyro4.the levels in this game are too hard for me.really even the sparx levels.there are only mini bosses in this game.in some of the sparx levels you have to beat a gaint bee, a grass hopper and some other bad bugs.next year they are going to make spyro5 for playstation2.I bet you want to know gendor looks like.hes real head is red and half of his belly.his other half is green.any way guess whos back! MONEY BAGS!but this time you only pay him for sparx levels.well this game is okay but next time dont ever ever EVER EVER MAKE SPYRO OR CRASH FOR GAME GOY ADVANCE AGAIN!

I dont know if the game was good or not scince I got it for my step sister but she to enjoy it and she cant play video games that well.

Eh, has some pros and cons.

Well, I bought this game a few weeks ago. Right now I'm in the Winter Fairy Home. I still haven't beaten Ice Age speedway yet, but I'm working on it. The levels are colorful, spyro is as cute as ever, and the graphics are exceptional, especially fo GBA. All in all, a pretty good game, though some parts can be pretty hard.

This is Spyro's GBA adventure but not any fun. Harder than Spyro3, Tougher than Spyro2 and not like any of the Spyro PSX games.

After the defeat of the Sorceress, Spyro & his friends go to the Dragon Shores to relax. But it seems that Zoe is frozen and so are all the other fairies. Worst of all, they have lost their magic wands!
This part of the story is the only one I hate because if they had their magic wands still inside the ice cube, they could give Spyro a zap everytime she/he/it gets freed.

The thief chases are tough, the platform reaching levels are harder than any climbing game and the water's so thick. Also, they forgot to fix the English, no artificial character voices and Bianca's face on the menu when she talks is quite ugly and disappointing. She was cute and sweet enough in the PSX.

The speedways are not speedways, but some levels which have the wind drag you through things.

But the good part is the music, the bosses and the codes (even if there are not many) and the levels. The characters look cute, sweet and beautiful.

The worlds are better than the levels because you don't lose many lives but if the things can be remain toasted/frozen when you leave the world.

Season of Ice is a good game! You've just gotta buy this game!

Okay, I saw this in ads and I thought "Wow! A new Spyro game, I MUST get this!" In fact one of the main reasons I bought this was to play this game. I got it but it wasn't at al what I expected. first of all as others have said the controls are HORRIBLE!! It's also way to easy to get killed, put your toe in a puddle and you die, I do not excadurate. In the old Spyro games you could easily jump out and still live if it was lava and swim in water (if you're playing Spyro 2 or 3). This game was a real disappointment but I do have one complement. The graphics on this game ROCK! It looks just like the original on a smaller screen. Now if only the game play was just as good. My suggestion is get this game only if you're a hardcore Spyro fan like I am. Maybe you're not as easily frustrated as I am. Good luck with those annoying controlls.

This game is overall good. It is fun until u get to those raceways wich are hard to beat. But with some good codes u can skip over those.

I have no clue what people have against this game.Great Graphics,Some beautiful music,and not that hard controls make this a great game.I have the PS versions and this is just as good.I wish they had a Crash Bandicoot demo though.That would make it cooler.Oh!Here is a game tip.The hardest fairy is probably in the Space Age Speedway hard trial.To beat it though
collect alot of time and be extra fast at the end.Good luck!I have passed this game with 100%,all fairies and gems but it isn't worth it.All you get is this stupid,frustrating minigame called Dragonfly X.This is a great game.

this game is real good. im a fan of sypro so when i saw this game out i naturally had to get it. its a pretty good game cept for one lil problem. i couldnt get very far since some of the levels have to do with flying to different spots. its near impossible to fly very well. the screen is a lot smaller so flying isnt as easy as it is appeared to be. other than the flying part its excellent game. maybe when i get the game cube i can connect the GBA to it to play it on the big screen that should improve the game a lot.
