a fun but hard game

yes, the same one who rated donkeykong!

this is a very fun game,but it is very hard

the first world is about like the year of the dragon,but i am stuck on alevel where bees knock you off cliffs

you collect faires by finding them,burning objects(such as pumpkins or sandcastles) cathing theives, killing all the rynohcs,or doing various different tasks.
you still get to play as sparks, but where in the year of the dragon his levels were the hardest,the difficulty has not changed yet his are the easiest

it still has moneybags and hunter,

but overall it's alot harder than on playstation

i am now adding the fact that i sold this game beacuse
the game play is compleatly different then on any other platform

buy mario or kirby instead

Spyro the Dragon is a game that has very nice graphics, but unfortunetly its boring. I bought the 2nd Spyro on Playstation and I enjoyed it. However when I bought it on GameBoy Avanced (Spyro Season Of Ice) I was bored. It was the same game except nicer graphics and different levels.
The Good points of Spyro are:
-Nice Graphics
-Different worlds

The Bad points:
-Always the same thing
-You never get anything special
-And Simply boring

Now I don't hate this game but I don't love it either. I recomend you not to buy this game. Rent it but don't buy. Im warning you!!!!!!

I don't understand why everyone is complaning about this game. Its real fun. Sure the camera angle is bad, but what do you expect its GBA not PlayStation. The speedways are hard. But everything else is GREAT!!!!!!!!! If you don't have Spyro:Season of Ice, you should get it!

Very very fun! A lot like the Playstation versions, Spyro stays true to form.

the first world is easy but the second world is a bit frustraiting. Its worth getting if you're an advanced gamer, but a new gamer would probably break the cartridge in annoyance.

My niece and I love the Spyro games, but we only have the PS One. We were just looking to see if there was going to be a Spyro 4 and I found the Season of Ice for GameBoy. We are hoping this game will also be made available for the PSOne, we may not be able to get the PS2. GUESS WHAT? My husband bought me the PS2 for Christmas (Wonderful Surprise!!) I sure hope Spyro 4 is made available for PS1 or PS2 REEEEAAAAL SOOOOON!!!!!!

I was luckey enough to get this game for my birthday. If I would have bought it I would have returned it in a second. The graphics are horrible. In the game the hardest thing is to get Spryo to fly. If you do not have a guide book then u wont have a clue what to do in each level. There are very few levels compared to other games. In each level the basic thing that you have to do is burn people with spyros fire. To get to different levels you have to free faries from the ice that they are trapped in. There are barely enough faries to free to get you o each level. In this game you can never tell when you beat a level. All of the villians are so boring and drawn horriby. In other words this game is BAD!...

Graphics are cool and all but, this game is too easy! The level are just too easy for me. So if you aren't a very good gamer I'll say this is the game for you.

I was hoping that Spyro 4 would come to Playstation 2. Instead it comes to Game Boy Advanced. I sure hope a Playstation 2 version comes. I am not buying this thing until a Playstation 2 version comes out.

I am writing this preview is because wombat18 is saying that some will say 2D,well that's not true considering that Spyro is 3D.It's impossible to imagine a 3D game like Spyro being 2D instead of 3D.It's 3D because you can freely go everywhere you want to go.In 2d games such as Super Mario Advance that will be impossible.When you mentioned 2D,you guys mean the 2D games such as Super Mario,Metroid,and Super Mario World.
