When you thought Nintendo wasn't going to announce anymore pokemon games, they introduced Pokemon Sapphire.Overall, the game takes place in Heonn where you cast off as a new pokemon Trainer. That's all I have to say.

Sapphire is the best!

I LOVE SAPPHIRE VERSION! I'm a girl and like Pokemon and I have red/silver/gold/ruby/leaf green/yellow special pikachu edition/and sapphire versions. I still need emerald/fire red/blue/and crystal. Sapphire has Kyorga and he's better than Grondon. I have A mudkip. Mudkips are SO CUTE! And so are Treeko and Torchic. GO POKEMON! Sapphire has pokemon you can't get on Ruby. Some people say it's not hard to beat but for me it is. I was still in the pokemon league and almost beat Steaven, when my sister got my gameboy SP (mynes black, heres is platinum.) (platinum is silver) and started a new game and saved it on the new game! Bummer!

this game is really cool i played the japanese version it was really coll ecept i couldn't read any thing they were saying so it was confusing on really cool thing about it is you have a shadow and when you go next to the water you see your refletion and plus the weather actually changes instead of all ways being a perfect day sometimes it snows and there are contest which has nothing to do with battling that is why i gave it 5 stars and i can't wait for it to come out.

Looks like a good game

This game looks appealing. The graphics look near to Gold and Silver but there is also more to do. I am going to buy this game because it continues the pokemon story (I hope Geovannii retunes). Although the battles will be tedious, the 2 pokemon action will make up for it. Buy this game!

This game is out of this world!New Pokemon, new attacks,Pokemon contests and the new Team Magma/Team Aqua! There are new characteristics like Torchic's characteristic is Raging Flame witch powers up fire attacks. The legendaries in this one is Kygore and Latias. These Pokemon will may seem kind of strange because they are in a humanoid shape and have braille markings. There names are Regirock, Regiice and Registeel. Cooler than any other games! Buy it!

The Best Pokemon Game Ever

I think this is the best Pokemon game out there. The 2 on 2 battles, secret base, contests, music, berries, pokeblocks and new features (I can't name them all) are amazing.

There are also 135 new Pokemon to catch and 67 of the original Pokemon. To name of few of the new Pokemon, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Blaziken, Groudon, Kyogre, and Kecleon.

Overall, I think this is the best Pokemon game out.

Another great addition

The Pokemon Sapphire game is amazing! There are tons of new pokemon an d the graphics are absolutley stunning. They added a new and fresh 3-D look to the game and even weather patterns that effect you and the enviorment. After a rainstorm you can splash around in the puddles and on the beach youtrack footprints. There are tons of new itmes as well such as pokeblocks to improve and attract pokemon and dozens of new moves. You can still play as a boy or a girl and instead of waiting half the game to get a bike you get these nifty shoes that allow you to run bike speed.

Just one thing confused me...did the game get a whoole lot easier? I never lost one battle throughout the whole entire game, I even beat the elite four on the first try...As a starter pokemon I recommend the fire pokemon Torchic, probably your best longterm choice. My team was: Blazikan, Plusle, Mightyena, Kyogre, Azumaril and a psychic pokemon whos name i cannot think of...Well thats about it!

Pokemon Sapphire is a fun game and i higly recomend it...of u get stuck send me an e-mail! Jenn_nardo@yahoo.com

this game is really cool. the 3 starters r as u know mudkip, torchic, and treeko. Mudkip evolves to Marshtomp, then Swampert.
Treeko evolves into Grovyle, then Sceptile. Torchic evolves into Combusken and then Blaziken. Mudkip is the pokemon i started with. Mudkip is really good. I hav alredy evolved him into Swampert. Kyogre is an awesome legendary. he is really strong( i have caught him). Zigzagoon does have a lot of abilities but u'll find that he isn't very powerful. When u find a SNORUNT in Shoal cave- catch him. he is very rare!!!!!!!!!!! also if u see a RELICANTH and WAILORD- catch them- u'll need them to unlock the 3 legendary REGICE, REGIROCK, and REGISTEEL. the first gym leader is ROXANNE she has a lvl. 14 geodude and a lvl. 15 Nosepassthis game is really cool. buy it!!!!!!!!

Pokemon Ruby & Saphire - A Classic Revamp

3 Rating: 3, Useful: 2 / 2

Nintendo has produced some of the greatest games in history. Pokemon has always been one of the great Nintendo franchises and Pokemon Ruby & Saphire is no exception. The only problem, it may be too little too late. Everyone knows how popular Gold and Silver were in their day, and everyone was sure Ruby & Saphire would only improbe on those fantastic features. Many buyers (including me) were shocked on the day of release that some of the features in Gold and Silver weren't even hinted in Ruby & Saphire. The groundbreaking time and day feature that allowed players to set a clock to the time of day and weekday so players could interact with day specific events and special time of day Pokemon including different setting looks for different times of day or night was not carried over to the new games. Sure you set a clock, but it doesn't do anything and can't be changed for daylight savings time. Also, there is no backward compatibility for old games with trading and battling. Also, the old lands such as Jhoto and Kanto aren't featured in the game either.

But, even despite the new games' lack of features, it does have some upsides. The game introduces 100 new pokemon, though you also can't capture some of the old ones, and 350 are alot to keep track of. The game has slightly better graphics, and a girl character. The game also has compatibility with the Nintendo e-Reader though it does require a cord and an additional GBA. The game also has some new bells and whisles such as Pokemon Contest, a sort of beauty contest in some sense. Also, the game has 2 on 2 battles and the ability to create a secret hideout (a sort of 2nd room) some mountains and trees. Other than that, the game is the same Pokemon we all know and love. I rate it: ***! Three stars! I reccomend Pokemon Ruby & Saphire to anyone who wnats something fun to do. Oh. One more thing. Isn't it strange that the Second Gulf War in Iraq started the day after the games were released. Interesting. This is Kidmedia.
