A good game that still goes on and on...

Chris Sawyer has done it again!
RTC2(Roller Coaster Tycoon 2) has new roller coaster based
on Sixs Flags. Also the game's graphic is 4-D and the A.I is much better. It has higher limit for the height of the roller-coasters, they have over 20 Sixs Flags rides, new shops, Sixs Flags scenarios, scenario editor, metalic wall, fences, gardens,
roofs, etc.!
RTC2 is going to work on 98, 2000, ME, and WIN XP.
Don't buy expasion packs of RTC, because now the big event is coming soon.
Currently I give 5 stars and this is the greatest simulation(RT)
game ever made!

This is by far the BEST game Infogrames (and almost all other computer entertainment companies) has ever brought to the stores.
I have played the original game for a year now, and I never dreamed Cris Sawyer could think of this much more. But RCT 2 has it all. There are tons of new roller coasters-they have the LIM powered coaster, the Spiral rollercoaster, etc. You can also build other new rides that aren't roller coasters, like the submarines ride.
And there are tons of new shops, including Star Fruit drink stalls, first-aid stalls, and ATMs.
Guests are smarter, too. They don't get lost and just walk around in circles on large sections of pavement, and they like to watch rides being built, and they say that they're running out of cash.
Tons of new scenery options are available, including queue-line TVs, different bench/trash can styles, and many more sinage options. New themes include pirates, giant garden, and wild west. New music styles are also available, like Rock style 3, Moderne Style and Mechanical Style. You also have the option to build buildings with the scenery - roofs can now be placed atop walls, etc.
Did I mention that the gameplay is also easier, and the different features are much better organized? I suppose not. The best examples are the ride windows, where you have seperate tabs for the music, repairs, etc. Now, you can go to the repairs tab and adjust how often the ride is inspected, and view breakdown specifics, AND locate the nearest mechanic. There are also different entertainer styles--bandits, pirates, etc. are now available for you to clothe your entertainers with.

I'd better stop now if I don't want to be writing the next volume of Encyclopedia Brittanica, but overall, this is the BEST game I've played yet. I HIGHLY recommend it.

... I had waited two years for this game and WOW! It was well worth the ...trips and Highly recommended. My high expectations were met better than I thought.

I think that the all new Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is a really cool game. When buying, I thought that I might need to load the original Roller Coaster Tycoon but you don't need that on your system to play it! Not only that but I think that the roller coasters that are included with this game are much better than some of the original designs included with the first one, but they are also here with the second one, so it is all gain gain gain, and no loose! I love this game, and all I can say is that if you like roll playing games, or if you liked the first Roller Coaster Tycoon, you WILL like this one! Happy Playing!

it is super cool you have amillion kinds of rides and you can even design your own scenario. other new stuff to. you should definetly get it it is awesome

Ok, this is a great game for any person that loves roller coasters. I've been an amusement park employee for years now and when the original RCT game came out, I was depressed that the operation of coasters wasn't close to real operation.

When RCT 2 came out, I was impressed with the idea of the block brakes that can now be added. I was able to build coasters that operated like the real coasters I operate in the real world. It's great.

The physics of the game are real, the operation is wonderful, and what you can do with this game is endless. I would definately recommend it to amusement park people that have always wanted to create their own park.

The fun on the game definately increases with the internet. There tons of sites out there that allow you to upload your own creations and download other peoples creations to compliment your park.

For those of you who are looking for a theme park simulation game, this is the one to buy! The best part is, you don't have to own the first Rollercoaster Tycoon game to play this one. There are countless numbers of new shops, rides, scenery, etc. The graphics are out of this world and overall the game runs extremely smooth without stalling (as long as your computer meets the system requirements). If you don't have any Rollercoaster Tycoon games yet, save your money and skip the first one and its expansion packs and move right on to this one! Everything about Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is very realistic, as opposed to other theme park simulation games. Also, several tutorials and easy-to-find buttons make this game great for all ages. Trust me, buy this game; YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

Addictive fun

This is another addition to the Roller Coaster Tycoon Series and it rocks. I have all the previous ones and once i saw this I knew I had to get it. If you have Roller coaster tycoon already, You should buy this game!!WHY?you ask
#1 stack scenery to build buildings, and really make a ride cool.
#2 many more rides and scenery(I have built a rollercoaster with a top speed of over 110 mph and the guest will actually go on it now that is crazy)
#3 more music for your rides to play.
One downer is it takes so long to load and save and start up.
Plus There is no Mega Park like on the previous versions.
There are additions to this game to buy.
You can also download more parks off of rollercoastertycoon.com on the internet. If you are new to the series I would recomend you buy this game,it blows all the other ThemPark sims away.
Before I got into the Series I bought Sim Theme Park for PC.It was fun for a while but after you get many things going in your park it gets sooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow!!!Buy RCT 2 it is highly addictive. A nice addition to this game is you can create your own senerios. I made about 5 and then on the 6th one I finally got the paths right to the enterance of the park. I would recomend that you be good at techinical video games or you might not get this for a while or if a person is to young too figure it out. My sister is just getting it now after a couple months of playing. If you good at technical games like me you will get how to play after 10 min. If you like simcity buy this game. I wish they would come out with one of these where you can design parking spaces and how guests can get to your park. You can make strets in your park when you make a scenerio but there are no cars that drive on it. but that doesn't really matter much at all because this game rules!!!

Roller Coaster Tycoon is one of the most fun games I have ever played. When the first one came out, I was so addicted to it, and it was so much fun. So when I heard the second one was out, I was very excited. But when I got it, it was almost the same as the first one. Sure it is a little better than the first. It has new rides, scenarios and theming. It also has a couple new features where you can create your own dream park, and design roller coasters with no cost limit. But those new add-ons to the original are not worth the price. Also, the scenarios are not very good. Many of them are way too hard, or just not fun. The only reason I rated this 5 stars is because I love Roller Coaster Tycoon. I consider roller coaster tycoon 2 an add-on. If you are a roller coaster tycoon nut, I recommend buying this. But if you are not, and you already have the first, I say save your money, and stick with the original.

If you are even mildly interest in simuation games, or maybe even theme parks you will LOVE this game. That is no exaggeration. Roller Coaster Tycoon will provide you with hours of entertainment with its wild and endless scenarios, hundreds of rides, themes, and the general idea of money-making and the various problems that come with it. I HIGHLY recommend this game! YOU WILL **LOVE** IT!
