I don't understand why they didn't have Amy Rose the hedgehog in Sonic Adventure 2, as well they kept others like Knuckles & Tails[But I knew they were also main chars.]I thought Amy was very cool!From what Iheard Sonic Adventure sounds really outstanding for a game to buy & play!

Sonic Adventure 2 is the best game Sega has ever made. This game features 30 new and awesome levels plus 6 characters which include two new ones(Shadow & Rouge). Also has Two story lines so you can play eather as Dr.Robotnik, Shadow, or Rouge from the Dark Side or as Sonic, Knuckles, or Tails from the Hero Side. That's not all, it has great 2-player gameplay that features Sky Railing, Shooting, Hunting and Kart Racing. Sonic Adventure 2 also brings back the cute and cuddly Chao which you can raise to higher and higher levels. Sonic Adventure 2 lets you download great music as well. And by pushing its 128 bit processer to the max has even rised the graphics higher than Sonic Adventure and Sonic Shuffle. This is truly the best Sonic game yet. If you are a Dreamcast player, this is a game you have to get as soon as possible.

If you want an action loop-t-loop forward going game go ahead, also with cute personalized chao.Except for one slight bug.The name is rong, no adventure just pure action (and a few brakes with chao)

Sonic Adventure Games take after one of the TV shows called Sonic X.
You can do so much in this game like:::

Light and Dark Story Mode
2-Player
Missions
Chao World (My Favorite)
Sound Test
Stage Select

This game can get very hard at times, but it's still easy because extra lives are easy to get. Play the first level over and over again. (so game overs are rare).
and this game isn't a 30 hour game or anything, but knowing how i played this game, you'll spend more time playing the extra stuff than the story mode itself.

it's a really good game. it's worth any price under $100.

Okay, I thought long and hard about writing this review because I knew that many hard core gamers would be upset at me. I have to be truthful so here I go. PROS: 1. Graphically speaking, SONIC 2 surpases the first SONIC for the dreamcast. The levels ARE MORE DETAILED and you can't help but admire what the SONIC TEAM was able to do. The cut scenes in the game are fantastic. 2. The load time that existed in the first SONIC (e.g. when you were in the middle of the level and you had to wait for the game to load) is gone. That is a MAJOR PLUS because you never lose momentum (if you are going at a fast pace). 3. The game is challenging at times (like finding all the extra stuff for your characters), so you have no time to get bored. The story in the game is really interesting. I think it's a bit more obscure than the last SONIC, but that adds to the fun level. Also, the grade you receive after completing a level challenges you to do better. The replay fun factor: a solid 10! 4. The mini game and the more involving chao world are also another great thing about this game. I can't tell you what these are so you will have to find out

...NOW with the CONS: 1. CAMERA ANGLES. Having ONE FIXED view complicates your game paly. You can't see what's to your sides most of the times and if you are able to do so, the camera will move to it's original position. These camera angles are very crucial to the game (the more you advance, the more difficult the game gets so you need all the help you can get). This problem makes finishing your levesl a pain at times. 2. Even though you are able to choose between the good and the bad guys, you are forced to play with characters you might not like because you have to follow the story. I don't like Knuckles and I was forced to play his missions.

If you buy SONIC 2, YOU WILL NOT regret it. IT'S ONE OF THE LAST FEW GOOD GAMES FOR THE DREAMCAST. Bottom line, it's a good game and you'll have fun. Sadly enough, I can't give it 5 stars.

Well, I have to tell you.This game ROCKS!Sonic Adventure 2/Sonic Adventure 2 Battle(GameCube) rocks the Dreamcast AND GameCube!Sonic Advance owns Game Boy Advance!Sonic owns SEGA ITSELF!Now for the game

Music: 4/5 AHHH! RAP! GAK! The rap is freakin' annoying!The hard rock/techno/rock/wierd music/some more wierd music is awesome, though

The orinigal sonic game had a very simple objective. All you have to do is to go through the level and free sonic's animal friends and destory Eggman. In Sonic Adventure it's the same thing but, more adventurous. But, Sonic Adventure 2 is NOTHING...the storyline is totally off the main objective of the oringinal sonic games.
Sonic Adventure 2 is no where near the oringinal. The music on SA2 is not all that good. Who would put rock music on the very final boss when the world is abuot to be destroyed? And why is there Rap music on the Knuckles stages? The music is so bad that I could put the volume down on my T.V. The levels on sonic adventure 2 are not original and they are to hard to complete. What does the military have to do with sonic? And are the people in the game color blined!? Can't they even tell from a blue hedgehog from a black hedgehog!?
The cut sences in the game are terrible! And I can't belive my favorite blue hedgehog say's something kinda negative: "I'll let you eat those words!". When I first heard him said that I thought it wasn't like him to say such a thing! I really think sonic is not the violent type. Also, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WITH THESE ROBOTS!? The robots barely have those big cute eyes! Also, in the cut scenes you can't barley hear the character voices. I also don't like the violent situations sonic's in this game. And he gets to go to jail for nothing! The boss levels in this game stink. To conclude this, I've been a sonic fan since the very first SEGA Genesis came out. I actually know sonic very well from the old Genesis games. He is actually my favorite color! I really think of sonic as very heroic for saving his animal friends from Eggman. And sonic adventure2 just won't cut it! On a final note: I think sonic3 & Knuckles is the best sonic game in the world! The story line is good and has a very few sad things in it(Dooms Day Act2 with sad music). I really think this game is much better than SA2. The game doesn't have a whole lot of felling to it. If you are a classic sonic fan(like me!) I do not RECOMMEND this game. If you are a sonic fan all the way... try the game and see if you like it. If you seen the classic sonic games you will see what I mean.

P.S. Iam keeping my sonic game for classic and birthday reasons.
(I was about to sell the game to a used game store!)
