This is a good game not get me wrong. But it is nothing like the orignal(Dreamcast). There are no adventure fields. You do the same level if you are good or bad, only with differnt guys.

this game is great . good gameplay great graphics . sonic adventure 2 battle is the same . the biggest weakness is those very very bad voices . the best dc game ever . big and e-102 y are gone. I found not as much adventure as the frist. two player mode is good ,if I was able to I'd give it a 4 and a half . if you pick it up you wount be sory

I rented this game a long while ago, and I was amazed at how awsome it was! it was different than I imagined, because I thought you had to beat the game with the hero side before you could use the dark side story, but you can choose whenever you want. that has its conveniences, and the day before I had to bring the game back, I beat the Dark side story mode! it was easier than I thought it was.

This game REALLY is an O.K. game. However, it could be better though. Now if you look at Sonic Adventure...now that is a fun game! Really the only bad part is that there isn't a character selection and no adventure mode. Shadow and Hyper Shadow are pretty cool though...

This is defanatly one of the best 1 player game rated E. No bad language. No realistic violence either.
The story line of the game is that a long time ago a mad scientist, Dr. Robotnik created an evil copy of sonic named Shadow. Now Dr. Eggman,Robotnik's grandfather or father(I don't remember),set free Shadow who escaped and left to the deserted space colony ARK. Eggman goes because Shadow will show him a power. Shadow is now wanted by a government force,G.U.N., and Sonic is mistaken for Shadow and gets captured, but he gets out and escapes from the city he landed in. He ends up fighting eggman in the end.
This game also includes chao like in Sonic Adventure one. YOu raise little creatures and can play with them and race them.

the Chao angle of this was a horrible addition, that takes up space. It takes eons to make them half-way powerful, and it mostly makes you not want to take the time, while they hoped it would make people obsessed. Some things are done very right and are fun in Chao Gardens, though. The internet aspect never came close to it's potential, it felt more like promises. Knuckles and Amy have such boring game quests and Tails just shoots in a dry adventure of his own. I don't even care about Shadow or the evil version of the good guys, which comes off as a...gimmick. I only want to play as SONIC. And when you're doing that, it's loads of fun, just don't expect to do that much. Overall, I think the first one was better, though they are both worth it.
