One of the Most Addicting Games!

If you can find this game, buy it. I am a college student who never used to play video games that often. I occationally play games like: Gears of War, Halo, and Madden. I was really skeptical about guitar hero until a friend borrowed it. After getting used to the unique game play by using a guitar as a controller we were hooked. Guitar Hero 2 is just bigger and better, especially on the xbox 360. The graphics are alright, but when your jammin out you really don't pay attention because you're too focused on the notes. The songs are great, there's a practice mode, you can play co-opt & against someone, you have the option to purchase more songs through xbox live, you can play against or with other people from all over online, and whether your young or old everyone can really have a great time. I know lots of people who hate video games, but resist guitar hero 2. It's also a big hit at parties! Honestly, if you can find guitar hero 2 and can afford it, buy it. Trust me you won't regret it.

This is a great game without any violence!! What a great way for kids and adults to bond!

There is no doubt that the phenomenon known as Guitar Hero is way past due for the 360. Maximum enjoyment for all. Even if you have no interest in guitars or music in general, it's in your best interest to give this one a shot. You won't be disappointed!

This game received 4 stars for two reasons. The first I blame Microsoft on. NO wireless controllers here. Pathetic. MS is too greedy to license the wireless technology. What a shame.

Number two. Downloadble content is grossly overpriced. So look at the list of songs that ship with the game and make sure there's something you like because you will probably balk at the price to download additional songs.

Those two gripes aside, I highly recommend Guitar Hero II for the 360.

The game play is simple yet challenging. It keeps you coming back for more. Many games these days forget what makes games fun. I have countless games I just get tired of and don't play for a while. Now this game just stays great!

Did I mention the music? Although it lacks everyone's favorite, Led Zeppelin, it still is packed with great rock-out songs that will give your finger's a workout.

This game is even great for those who just watch too. The characters are down right cartoony kind of funny. Graphics are also rich in color and are sure to give watchers a chuckle while the characters spin a guitar in mid-air.

Just an overall 5 out of 5 stars game! Get it now to truly give your xbox a great game. Rock On!

So much fun ..thought it would be cheesey, but turns out when playin (with friends especially) Everyone gets into it.Plus playin on a big screen tv with surround sound its awesome!!!!!!

I own both this Xbox360 version and the original PS2 version and this Xbox360 version blows away the original!! The graphics are greatly improved and the ability to download more songs via Xbox live is amazing! The Xbox Live feature also keeps track of your song scores and posts them online so you can compare yourself to other Guitar Hero players around the world!!

Now as for the Guitar controller, it is a little more difficult to play due to the shape / design. The rear strap needs to either be tucked in front or behind the guitar and will NOT lay against the bottom base of the guitar. However it only took a small amount of time to get used to and I am now playing even better than on the PS2!

I have played both 360 and PS2 versions of this game and still can't get enough. The graphics are amazing and the characters are so unique. The song lists have great tunes for everyone. This is a game the the entire family can enjoy or great for solo play as well. Guitar Hero 2 has made my top five gaming list.

What can I say? It's Guitar Hero.

Guitar Hero 2 is quite possibly one the most fun and most challenging games I've played on the Xbox 360. Don't get me wrong, I love Rainbow Six Vegas and Gears of War as much as the next guy, but this game is one of those gems that you'll be playing for years and years. Though I admit, it's not as good as the original Guitar Hero for the Playstation 2, It's still a damn good game. On your first time trying, you'll probably do pretty poorly, and that's fine for a newbie. Once you progress through the game and increase in skill, you'll have loads of fun. Have friends? I hope you do. Anyway, this game is a blast with friends, especially with 2 controllers. I highly suggest this game to anyone who likes to have fun. And I know a lot of people like to have fun. 5 stars.

Guitar Hero is awesome and very addictive. When you first put this game in your xbox you know that you are playing something great. Guitar Hero has a great mix of hard rock, classic rock and metal with a total of 74 tracks to play and unlock. The characters are energetic and the game play is dead on. Play co-op with you friends or compete against them.. The achievements are some of the most challenging I have ever seen. It is one of the best games I have ever played. If you haven't bought this game yet go and get it.
