Great way to show off your PS3...

...and have some great fun doing it. Naughty Dog did an amazing job with this title and I can not wait for the inevitable sequel. It is basically just Gears of War combined with National Treasure and Indiana Jones. If you like any of those three things I would consider this a reason for you to buy a PS3. And if you already have a PS3? Then there is no doubt, buy this game!

Just a fantastic game. So beautiful. Like many they say it's like a movie. Sound, Graphics, Casting, Voices, all 10's, Story as well. Got a little Raiders of the Lost Arc, but it was believable, just kinda made me say WTheck! for a second on a surprise twist in the game. I played it on easy, cuz I am not great at these adventure games, but I had a blast. Replayablilty? As much as I loved it it's a one shot deal for me. Still the game is a must have rent or buy took me 2-3 days playing all day to finish it. I give it a 10. Anyone who gives it less than a 9 didn't play it all the way through, or is a just being a jerk.

Buy this movie, er I mean game. Actually, let's call it a govie. That's right, I just coined a new genre of gaming. This govie has great control, voice acting, graphics, and story.

Quite honestly, I haven't played such a fun game in a really long time. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone.

Now no game is perfect, so let me mention the negatives..er negative, singular. The game is not very long. But it does make up for it in replayability. Once complete, the game does offer a new difficulty level. In addition, by finding treasures, you can open up new skins, cool videos, and "making of" features.

This beautiful little gem sure surprised me. I was expecting a pretty good adventure game along the lines of Tomb Raider. But it turned out to be one of the best game experiences I have had since the start of this new console generation. Everything about it is extremely well executed. The story is engrossing. The graphics are some of the best, if not the best, of any game on any console. The gameplay is highly addictive and fun! I really can't say enough good things about it.

It is one of those games that is so good that if you don't have the console that it's made for, it's worth buying the system just to play. People say a game like Gears of War is a system seller. Well, this game is just as good as Gears of War (but very different) and really does make a strong case for getting a PS3.

This game is great. Everytime I say I'm going to play till the next check point I end up playing for about 3 to 4 hours. Game is highly addictive.

Here's the thing about Uncharted, the final sum is far greater than the individual parts. Maybe you don't dig the combat or maybe the pop-in gets you down, but the overall package of an endearing story, outstanding score, great performances and fun gameplay should put this title on the top of your holiday wishlist. Say what you will about the PS3, but Uncharted isn't just a standout for Sony -- it's a standout for gaming as a whole.

Adventure Games are my favorite type of video games, and this was a fun game, but almost too easy. I personally liked the Prince of Persia games better.

I also had some issues with this game and glitches. Black or blank squares would pop up throughout different chapters of the game. It was hit and miss, and did not occur when the programmed movies would come on. The squares were annoying because they mainly would show up during action - shooting times.

The graphics were great, and overall an enjoyable game. I would like to see more adventure games with harder puzzles!

It's been attempted before, but no other company has ever successfully combined the adventure, platform and 3rd person shooter genres into one.

The out-door visuals are simply beyond belief. I'm playing the game on a 90" screen using a 720p projector and it's almost like I am actually standing there in the jungle..

Sadly, I had to deduct some points for not being able to save the game when you want to; it will only save to the last checkpoint anyway, and that becomes increasingly annoying as the 3rd person shooter aspect of the game almost takes over the game itself having you fight an unlimited number of zombies that will kill you instantly if they get close enough, which can be hard to avoid when reloading your gun... basicly, it took a bit of the fun out of it in the end, even on the easy-level, and what's the point of that?

In total, this gave me many hours of entertainment and the game is perfect for showing off your PS3 to your friends. It joins Motorstorm at the top of the list of games that themselves are enough to justify buying a PS3.

I have been closed minded in recent years. If the game didn't start out by saying "EASPORTS "I would not buy it. I needed a change of pace and Drakes is by far the BEST game I have played in a while. The game is like a movie. It has everything and you just don't go around shooting people the game makes you think. After I beat the game I purchased Devil May Cry 4 and I like the game a lot it can't touch Drakes. Well DMC 4 has better cut scenes but overall game play, Drakes hands down. I think it has far better Game play than A....Creed and until God of War comes out on PS3 I am already itching for Drakes part 2. This is the best game I have played in a long time and I don't consider myself a " Gamer " but Drakes is a great game that is sort of addictive and you will keep playing it cause you want to see what will happen next.

Uncharted Best Game Of The Year!!

Just finished Uncharted last night. I would say it was the most fun game I haved played, in a long time. The game starts off in movie form to tell the story and then switches to game play. Through out the game you will cut to the movie form and them play the game. This makes it like you are playing a movie rather a game. You play Nathan Drake a treasure hunter explorer and relative of Sir Francis Drake the famous explorer.
You also have two companions, the attractive documentarian Elena ,and your friend Sullie. Both help you out very well through the game. I do not want to give to much of the story away. Let me say you are trying to find the Treasure of El Dorado. You will have to shoot a lot of the bad guys and solve a few puzzles to find the treasure.

The AI of the game was very well done. The jeep chase was my favorite. Remember you have a grenade launcher it is L1 on the controles. You will have to battle the bad guys, and they do get a little smart at the end. You will also get a little surprise in the end. Somthing I did not expect in this game. The water and fire look very real. Visuals in this game are stunning. It felt like I was there. Very tight story line as well.

One thing you might want to do is change the aiming sensitivity to high.
This will help you aim your gun better.

The story is an epic, if you like Indiana Jones you will love this game.
A lot of time and thinking went into Uncharted. Hope they make a sequel to it. If you are looking for your first game to buy on your PS3. I would buy this one first hands down. You will not be disappointed at all.
To those other people that give it a bad review, I'm not sure what game you were playing. It sure was not Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
