The Wii Fit was just what I needed to kick start my exercising. If you are thinking of buying a gym membership get this first. You will get committed to exercising and THEN you can use it for fun while your kicking But at the gym!!
This product may seem silly to some people but not to those of us who are to embarrassed to go to the gym or yoga class for lack of knowledge or skill. A great way to learn balance and focus. Once you try the yoga you will be addicted and NEED to stretch daily, very good product. If you see it, GET IT!!!!

This is a great game for someone who is too tired to go to gym in the evening, but still want to burn some fat

I never thought I would use the words "exercise" and "fun" in the same sentence, but Wii Fit has made those words practically synonymous!! It is incredibly easy to get started and the game starts you on the right track immediately. Using accumulated time one exercises to unlock new games is genius. It's the right blend of video game and exercise!
Wii Fit is AWESOME!

If you are thinking of buying a Wii Fit - quit waiting - do it! It's so much fun and what a work out! I've been using the Wii Fit for 3 weeks and can already see an improve in the strength of my legs, my balance and I've lost 3 pounds (my goal is to lose 6 more pounds). I work out on it for 1 to 1/12 hours each day and that time flies by. I have recommended the Wii Fit to everyone I work with. My husband and 12 year old son also work out on the Wii Fit!

The wii fit is a great way to lose those extra pounds and have fun in the process. The board has an interesting and humorous "personality". My wife and I have been using this for over a month and have lost a combined 14 pounds by using it every day. It has become a daily ritual for my family to spend an 30 minutes each doing exercises, rather than playing games or watching TV. For the price of a gym membership, we are able to accomplish the same thing, yet with more fun and privacy. My wife even has a neighbor come over a few times a week to workout before I get home.
What you might not get from the box is that you have to use the device to unlock different sections of the game. The more you use it, the more option become available. After 30 hours, I have unlocked virtually everything.
The only negative is that once everything, especially the balance games, have been mastered, it becomes boring to see the same thing every day. It would be nice if future updates offer different scenes and/or activities to complete. It is worth the price I paid, and more as I am losing weight and feeling better about my self and health.
Is there such a thing as an "entertaining" workout?

Just bought this today, after something of a quest to get it. My wife and I plugged it in, and have each put in some serious time (it hurts to type!). This was a worthy investment. It is indeed an entertaining workout. The yoga, the strength training are probably the best it has to offer, so it's not a "game" as such, but still an excellent buy (if you can find it).
