This game is just as good as Mario 64. It takes forever to find every seceret and do everything you can possibly do on it. It took me about a year to beat every possible level in every possible way and then I went back and got every dragon coin. there is 90 someting exits to levels and It was a blast finding all of them. I only cheated once. Dont by any other mario advanced games unless you have this one. The newest one is very short.

i got a SNES from someone who i don't even know now and my dad hooked it up for me.The first game i ever had was SMW.I turned it on and said"oooooo, pretty colors"I think this was my very first video game i ever played(either that or a game from old gb)I pressed all the buttons like 50 times and i jumped around.I played for a long time and when i finally found yoshi,i said"WOW!GREEN THINGY WITH A LONG TOUNGE AND I CAN RIDE ON IT!"When i played the game more and more i got to bowsers castle but never beat it....As i grew up i still had it and invited my friends over to play it.And now in present time,i STILL have it!!!!!!But now i can beat the game easy. But look now,it's out for gba! This is one of the first SNES games ever coming into the new advance system. When you look at it,doesn't it bring back memories?Kicking koopas butts, riding on yoshi, picking luigi and mario, and one of the first times we saw bowser(which he is very popular now)I think this is a must want game for anyone. And for you old i-still-have-one-tooth kids, cry like a baby to make your parents get it for you.If you don't have gba then....YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT IT FOR CHIRSTMAS!!!

Hi, I'm a 12-year old gamer loaded with a GBA. I have Super Mario Advanced already and was going to get Bomberman Tournament but I've changed my mind. I'd get this game, no matter how much it costs. When I was small, I used to go to a friend's house. He had that wonderful classic from Nintendo, the SNES. We used to sit up all night playing Mario on it. And now, It's on GBA! It brings back such memories. Oh, well, enough with the sloppy stuff, let's get down to business. This is an action-packed game with great graphics for its time and I think it's great that it's coming out on GBA. With a long and fun story, this game is really one of Nintendo's best. Keep 'em coming, you Japanese geniuses!

Super Mario World is an excellent game for the GBA. A remake of the original, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World brings 16 bit side scrolling action back to life. When the original hit the Super Nintendo it was the best side scrolling platformers on the market, and with Super Mario World gracing its colors on the GBA some 10 years later, it is still the best side scrolling game available. 96 total levels of Mario platform greatness. New to this version of Super Mario World is a course traction option that can be brought up by hitting the select button that will display what screens you have opened and if all the Yoshi coins were picked up on that level. Another added bonus is that Luigi is now a playable character. Overall this is a great remake of one of the best games ever made for any videogame system and is a must have to everyone's GBA library.
Everything Old Is New Again.

I am old enough to remember this game when it first came out, and when I heard it would be released on the GameBoy Advance I was very excited. Thankfully it is as much fun today as it was then and is still arguably the best 2-D platform game ever. Nintendo has refined Mario to a science and this game represents the pinnacle of the 2-D versions. With seven areas to explore and 96 goals to find you'll be running, jumping, and flying for hours.
For those of you who have not played the Super Nintendo version, in SMW Mario, Luigi, and the Princess decide to take a vaction from the troubles of the Mushroom Kingdom in Dinosaur Land. When they get there they learn from a friendly dinosaur, Yoshi, that Bowser has trapped his friends and taken over the island. On top of this the Princess has disappeared. So Mario and Luigi set off to find the Princess, save the Yoshi's, and stop Bowser.
Mario has many power-ups at his disposal including the usual mushrooms, fire flowers, and a new feather which gives Mario the ability to fly with a cape. This game was also the debut of Yoshi, Mario's dinosaur buddy, and this adds a new dimension to the gameplay. Since Yoshi can swallow enemies with his tongue some areas become much easier with his aid. Not included in the original but added for the GBA is the ability to play as Luigi. Luigi can jump higher and fly farther than his brother and is more suited for some levels. Its up to you to choose which plumber is best for you.
The gameplay is divided between the seven different areas of Dinosaur Land. Within each area are many individual side-scrolling levels to complete. You advance through the game by completing one level to get to another. There are also shortcuts to be found by discovering the hidden goals of many levels. The world map screen is where you choose the level you want to attempt, and all levels except for castles can be replayed infinitly. The castles are where you fight each areas guardian before moving on to the next area. The original Mario Bros. arcade game is also included. You can play solo or against a friend in battle mode. It's not much, but it does add a little extra something in terms of replay value.
Super Mario World is a classic that has stood the test of time. It's simple enough for anyone to enjoy but deep enough with it's replay value for seasoned vet's to appreciate. It's pure fun and thats what video games should be. A must own for the GameBoy Advance.

I rememberwhen I got my firs Super NES. I had a ball with it. When I first got Super Mario World I was already a pro at it the first time I tried. But now they've got one for Game Boy Advance and I can't wait to get it. I know already how to beat at least one boss. Anyway,Nintendo you make the best and I hope you make more Games and game systems in the future.

Wow, if you loved the first version for SNES, you will LOVE this version for the GBA. It is just like the orignal but I think it is actually better! The graphics are amazingly better than the SNES version. I own it on both the GBA and the SNES and from my experience the GBA version is soooo much more fun. It is addictive! If you want a really really fun game get this for your GBA system! You won't be disappointed!
