This game is the first game i ever owned for Super NES and if you missed out on it the first time i suggest you grab a copy NOW. This game marks Yoshi's debut, the ! blocks, and the last time Bowser uses his Koopa Kids to stop Mario. This game is 2 player, so Luigi is in it, and there are a whopping 96 levels, a lot of them hidden. Try and get them all before you kill Bowser. Ok, maybe not KILL him, but you know what i mean.

...A perfect port with extras!

Seriously, I never owned SMW for SNES, but I had played it a bit, and this is EXACTLY the same...with EXTRAS!!! What gamer couldn't resist a great Mario game with Mario's first adventure all in one pak??? I'm not sure. Anyway, a great little extra is how your able to use LUIGI in SMW! Luigi is even better than Mario! Trust me, SMA2 is one of the cheaper GBA titles, get it, and you won't be dissapointed. I mean, come on, 96 levels, PLUS multiplayer?!

This game is really really really fun. You should definity buy it. The graphics are great and this game is much better then the Snes, with much more features. The only thing bad about it is that it is too easy. In a scale from 1 to 5 (1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest) i think this games deserves a 2 out of 5

First of all I still have memories of the first year this classic came out(1991). Although the graphics are pretty dated now they still look pretty good. The gameplay is very similar to Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers 3 except this time around Mario gets a new friend named Yoshi who adds an extra spirit of fun to this game. Although Super Mario 3 is more massive and more diverse I suggest you buy this game first cause Super Mario 3 takes a long long time to beat and is at times very frustrating but it was still the best Mario game of all time.
The music in this game is really what turns me on. The music for the levels adds an extra feeling of excellence to the game. The castle and ghost house music is very excellent and adds an extra feeling of creepyness. I suggest you get this game now cause you will never get sick of it and it has great levels. It deserves an A plus.

The Best "Old School" Mario Game Ever!!!!

This game is great! Playing this game made me have flashbacks, man. It's an exact copy of the old SNES version that came out way-back-when. It's also the reason I bought my Gameboy Advance SP in the first place.

All you hardcore Mario Vets will find this game very easy (although, I always thought the Star World secret was pretty challenging). I completed all 96 levels in just one day. But that's because I played this game a million times on the SNES and knew what to do right from the start. I didn't purchase it for the challenge, I bought it for the fun. Once I started I just couldn't stop.

Trust me. If you're an old school gamer like me who remembers the old NES and SNES days of Mario's adventures, then you'll love this!!

The most faithful translation of a game from SNES to GBA

Out of all the Marios for the Game Boy Advance, this is the one that converted most faithfully to the GBA from the SNES. The capabilities between the two systems are extremely similar. This game is incredible. You have over a 100+ plus levels to go through, and many hidden ones. It's difficult enough to keep you going at it, but easy enough that you don't get up and throw your GBA out the window. Deciding what world to go to is a huge benefit in this game. At any given point you can decide which world to go to next, and it doesn't have to be the most straight forward. Everyone has a different strategy to this. The addition of Yoshi in SMW was always one of the big draws to this game, and I believe that still rings true. If you are looking for a platformer for your GBA, this would be my #1 recommendation!
