Super World World I have played many times. It is the same game as Super Mario World for SNES (Super Nintendo). GBA (Gameboy Advance) just makes it portable. Bowser is at it again, kidnapping Princess Toadstool, and it's Mario's job to stop him. There are 96 levels total, but you can beat the game with a minimum of 12 levels. Bowser has also trapped the Yoshi Clan (A team of primitive but friendly dinosaurs) into eggs, and it's also your job to save them. Bowser sons hold them captive. This game may seem long, but in fact, it's very easy. Just because it's easy doesn't mean it isn't fun though. The Mario power-ups are still in here, along with a few others like the "Puff Balloon". You can ride the Yoshi's to help defeat your enemies, and they can special powers too. Travel to the many different lands to eventually stop Bowser right into his Clown Machine.
I liked it because of the nice animation and graphics, and of course, EVERYONE loves the fun-loving Yoshi's, and I think any gamer with any game experience will like this game too.
One of the best games ever!

Find all of the Star roads and go anywhere you want!! It is a lot better than the previous Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and the one before that. There are many secret places to find so get gaming!!!

i'm a gamer that started at the original gameboy, went to pocket, and then skipped straight to playstation. i always heard of all the awesome mario, zelda, and metroid games on the snes and always enjoyed playing them at friends houses, but never got them for myself. lucky for me they're bringing this gem back for us who missed out the first time.
this is a HUGE game, 90 some levels it says, multi exits, boss castles, bonus stages, yoshi, AND dragon coins. what more could anyone want?
as with most mario games, the graphics are bright and colorful, look very nice on the gba. the sound is ok, but i usually listen to some of my own music so that doesn't matter to me. the controls are also right on the mark, and between mario and luigi the controls are different. mario is faster, but luigi jumps much higher. luigi also does a cool little leg kick thing when he jumps, pure genius.
overall some may complain that nintendo is just rehashing old games on the gba, but to me i hope they continue to do it.
Can't Wait!!!

While I haven't played it on my GBA yet, I know it's going to be great!! I can't wait for it to be released. I've played it on the SNES before and it's one of my most favorite Mario games of all time. I do have Super Mario DX for GBC and Super Mario Advance for GBA and they're both fantastic, so I know that I will not be diappointed with Super Mario World!
The Best Mario Game!

I own a Gameboy Advance and i just love it...NOW! When the Gameboy Advance came out i went and bought one with Super Mario Advance and Fzero. I was dissapointed with Mario Advance, in this game Mario jumped on top of an enemy and nothing happened, you had to press B to lift it and throw it. What kind of mario game uses vegetables to attack enemies? Yeah its true, Mario gets vegetable from the ground to throw them to his enemies. The only good thing about this game is the choosing of characters, you can choose from 4 different characters.
Two months later i saw a T.V. AD on a new mario game called Super Mario World. I decided to buy it, since i loved the SNES version. It is a blast! Its just like the original one! You can select between Mario or Luigi and travel a land with over 70 levels! And what would be a Mario game without that cool dino, Yoshi. Yes, you can control the cool yoshi and eat all you're enemies! Buy It and enjoy the biggest and best mario game yet available for you're handheld console, the Gameboy Advance! (I also recommend Fzero)

I dislike GameBoy, but seeing this game on there is great. This is the all time classic of all. But, becareful beacuse it says Super Mario World 2 and usually nintedo screws things up like that. This little GameBoy is more powerful then the SNES so its gona be diffrent. Its still the greatest though old-time classic.
Nintendo just realesed there designs on Link, Mario, and Sambus on the new GameCube and its scary there messing everything up. They described how the gameplay is going to be,,,,ehhhh not to good. Who liked Link as a kid?? i'm wondering cause the next to games are about him as a kid. Well SAMBUS the best hero of them all has been screwed up too. With out the aliens and the spilt room set up. And Mario is Mario good sometimes and horrible sometimes
Buy this game!

Alright. Super Mario World is, in itself, a great game. HOWEVER, Nintendo already RELEASED it on Gameboy Advance. It's called Super Mario Advance 2. It comes with Super Mario World AND Mario Brothers Classic. Therefor, there's no point in buying this.
Mario at his best

This game is seriously bad. Yes, Sure there is many levels, But whats that use with a bad game? The graphics are Game Boy Orignal style! (I have EVERY single gameboy! GameBoy Vet) A player from Super Mario somthing 6 golden coins (an old one) The graphics are the same, The levels are the same.
People say Mario started the 'jump up onto enemies' phrase on lots of game (crash bandicoot, ect)
If you have never played Mario before, Dont get this game! You'll be sorry for wasting money. This game is an insult to GameBoy Advance games.
Pros:
-Lots of levels.
Cons:
-Horrid Game Boy Orignal graphics just in colour.
-Horrid Nintendo Mario fans saying this game is good.
-Horrid music.
-Gets very repetitive and boring.
