This game will be awesome!!!

The first time I saw the trailer to this game, I was like HOLY CRAP, this game was gonna be awesome. Now I've watched every trailer, every dev. diary, everything to possibly read or watch over this game becuz I'm hooked. I cannot wait till it comes out, which is in August, I think. The next-gen graohics are freakin' unbelievable. The website is amazing. Everybody is crazy for this game. When they showed the actual gameplay for the first time running on the Xbox 360, and they showed her riding towards the city (you play as a man named Altair, who has been inducted into the Assassin's League, and get your finger cut off, to have a hidden knife placed there) on a horse, and climbed up a building, showing different ways to get to your target (everything that sticks out 2 inches or more is interactice) and scouts out the man she has to kill. She then climbs down the building and hides in with a group of monks waling by to get close to his target, then she kills him. She then does like a wallflip type dill, and runs like mad, pushing, yes I said pushing (when you walk by people you just push them aside, but if your running by them you throw them down, and they might run after you, and try to run you down too. That's what they've been working so hard on this game, the A.I. It's so impressive. Like if you kill a man's wife, when she's sleeping, and the man finds out that it was you, he will hunt you down till your dead, or until he's dead, also. Stopping at nothing. She then cuts down a wodden platform which blocks the way of the gards, then starts running off towards the entrance, where a gate comes down anad blocks his way, then he dies. In the game, there is no health bar, every amount of damage that you take is real, so if you get stabbed with a sword even once, you're pretty much dead!!! The game is so detailed, and is historically acurate. It has the cities Jeruselum, Acre, and like one or 2 more. So if you see a building in the game, it was actually there in real life, during the Third Crusade, which is when the game takes place. They worked with a historian to get everything historically acurate. Everything's cool, and I can't wait till' it comes out!!! I will write more reviews later on!!!

We got this game yesterday and my son is to disspointed. Your copy will freeze up and then there is nothing you can do after that freeze up. We went back to exchange the game and the same thing happend again. I e-mailed sony to see if we are the only once and if there is a cure ... but have not heard back yet. The store don't want do give me credit since I am the only one complaining with problems. Does anyone here have any problems at all with this game?

Of the time my son actually got to play was great he was in heaven ... just not for long.

Better on 360

I rented both versions of this game, and I purchased the Xbox 360 version. The difference is minimal, but I think the game is a bit more polished on the 360. If you are lucky enough to have both systems, the 360 has the best version of this game.

Has its flaws, but still an unforgettable game experience

The only problem with this game is that it might freeze up sometimes. Of course their are other tedious things that may bother some gamers like the fact that the stages and tasks become repetitive or the actual kills in the game could have been produced better graphically. Still you have to appreciate the tight controls and the overall gameplay. I have not been able to put my controller down and neither will the next buyer. Get this game now!

I have never seen a game with so incredible level of details and realistic rendering. If you think HALO 3 is a great game, wait until you play this one. Even though this game does have significant amount of glitches, which need to be worked out (patches soon?), the overall value is deserving its price tag.

My wife and I recently purchased a PS3 this November. AC was a top game on our list and It hasn't disappointed. The Crusades-era Middle Eastern setting is a refreshing change of pace from all the modern espionage genre games (Metal Gear, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell) and is gorgeously rendered. You'll quickly see that you're playing what will be a "Next Gen" classic. The story is compelling and well-paced. I've found that I can play for 30 minutes or 2 hours and still make progress. The killing and violence is used responsibly and is only a part of the character, who's as much a superhero as a killer - with all the climbing up buildings and leaping from rooftops, it's like Spiderman ... but done right. The open-world environment is pretty cool, though your interaction with most characters is limited - somewhat like the GTA series in this respect. Overall it's an accessible, entertaining, and beautiful game and the best alternative to a next gen gaming selection that has been and still is dominated by first-person shooters on both consoles.

This is one of the best games out there. There are several glitches (and you may have to restart your PS 3 couple of times). However, overall - it is GREAT!!!

Wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. The player doesn't have control, too automatic. All show.

this game was very disappointment to me , the story of the game not as you will expect to be , the game play is very boring very quiet the action on the game is minimal the special move of the main character is the same it will not change or upgrated so you will feel you doing the same thing over and over , the graphics is normal , i cant say no more , there is alote of grate game on ps3 so dont waist your time for this one .......

It's a great buy

Listen, If your looking for a good game that's worth playing, well you've found one. Assassin's Creed is awesome. The training tutorial it pretty straight foward. And trust me it's going to be hard to put down. This assassin is like on another level. He is soo agile, climbing building is a walk in the park. His sword technics are swift and deadly. The game has quite a bit of freedom too, the graphics are great, He rides horses, swings or beams or yeah and the leap of faith.. that part freaked me out the first time i saw it.. Its like what man in his right mind is going to climb up a giant tower and jump off into a small pile of hay then get up like nothing happen. Incredible. I just love the game. Trust you'll enjoy it too.
