Assassins Creed is awesome! It might get a bit repetive after a bit but who cares when you've got the athleticism of a damn cougar and a great retractible blade to end the lives of those you wish! OK im getting sadistic here but the game is great and definitely worth checking out!

Once again UbiSoft shines. This game is a wonderful escape to a time long ago. The main goal of the game is to complete nine assassinations. To achieve this goal, you must use stealth and other cool tactics to collect information on the target. These tactics include eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for a few Informers. There are also a number of side missions in this game, including climbing towers to map out the city and saving citizens that are being harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests unrelated to the story such as hunting down and killing Templars and collecting numerous flags. At times the missions get a bit repetative but overall the scenery and ambiance make up for it. The graphics are amazing as is the sound. Highly recommended!
This game is everything you could want

This is an amazing video game. The graphics are superb. The gameplay is fascinating, and it is more adult-oriented because it involves actual history. You learn more about the Templar Knights among other things. It has excellent artifical intelligence, and it is not too easy but not too difficult. I enjoy that there is such a large variety of things for Altair to do. He can ride horseback and explore areas at leisure, since the game is not completely linear. He can kill in a variety of methods, and there are many bonuses which make you want to continue playing. I have played this game for 5 or 6 hours straight without becoming bored.
This is the only PS3 game so far other than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, that I would completely recommend buying to start your PS3 game collection. It will not disappoint you, and it is for people of all ages and as an adult I can tell you it is very suitable for any age!
I would have rated it but...

I couldn't even play it! Here I am waiting for what seems like an eternity for this game to be released, and I can't even get past the first loading screen after picking "new game" Ubisoft won't admit it but they rushed to release this game, not giving it enough time in QA to work out all the bugs and glitches (at least for the PS3 version) I've seen many many people complaining of the game crashing, glitching, not loading properly, and many other bugs which make the game near or totally unplayable. I would reccomend waiting to purchase this game untill they decide to work this out. Though not every copy was affected better safe then sorry. In short, could I have actually played the game, I probably would have rated it higher, but sitting on a loading screen for eternity isn't exactly my idea of fun. Thank you ubisoft, thank you for making us your personal testers.

This game is great! Except for the fact that in order to play it on your playstation 3 you will most likely have to go online and download a new version update thing in order for it to play on the system...

First off, I am a huge PS3 fanboy. Second, this game is lame for all the hype that came with its release. In no way (aside from graphics) is this game ground-breaking. You run and jump and block. That is it...There are no weapon upgrades, aside from visual enhancements. I can't believe it took so long to make, let alone without freeze up issues everytime you play. This is true, (see Ubisoft's official online forum on the game) and it is a major let down. If you like running and jumping off buildings for no apparent reason, this game is for you. If you like one option of fighting and blocking without any trouble of defeating multiple enemies that fight the EXACT SAME WAY every encounter, this game is for you. If you like long, inconclusive endings with only one "boss" that gains magic powers out of nowhere to add a "sci-fi twist", this game is for you.
The massive world is very limited, and the horse riding is pretty useless.
There are flags all over the kingdom/cities you travel through, but collecting them all does nothing to unlock anything.
Nothing like Shadow of the Collossus for the PS2. Maybe they will get it right next time. But with all the bugs (trust me type in search words assassin's creed ps3 freeze issues) and you will be bombarted by complainers like me. But I am doing it as a favor to you, the consumer.
I only give it a 2/5 for the visuals. I can't think of a game aside from Tetris that is so repetitive. Thank God I purchased Ratchett and Clank and Uncharted, two of the most fun games for the PS3 I've yet to play.
Trust me, do your research before dropping $60. By the way, how many Star Wars rips and references can there be? Yes, my master. As you wish master. How am I to know the truth, master? You'll see if you waste the money on this game.

This game gets boring real quick, Hopefully the developers will put a little more thought into the actual game play than the graphics next time around. My advice, rent it.
This game will be awesome!!!

The first time I saw the trailer to this game, I was like HOLY CRAP, this game was gonna be awesome. Now I've watched every trailer, every dev. diary, everything to possibly read or watch over this game becuz I'm hooked. I cannot wait till it comes out, which is in August, I think. The next-gen graohics are freakin' unbelievable. The website is amazing. Everybody is crazy for this game. When they showed the actual gameplay for the first time running on the Xbox 360, and they showed her riding towards the city (you play as a man named Altair, who has been inducted into the Assassin's League, and get your finger cut off, to have a hidden knife placed there) on a horse, and climbed up a building, showing different ways to get to your target (everything that sticks out 2 inches or more is interactice) and scouts out the man she has to kill. She then climbs down the building and hides in with a group of monks waling by to get close to his target, then she kills him. She then does like a wallflip type dill, and runs like mad, pushing, yes I said pushing (when you walk by people you just push them aside, but if your running by them you throw them down, and they might run after you, and try to run you down too. That's what they've been working so hard on this game, the A.I. It's so impressive. Like if you kill a man's wife, when she's sleeping, and the man finds out that it was you, he will hunt you down till your dead, or until he's dead, also. Stopping at nothing. She then cuts down a wodden platform which blocks the way of the gards, then starts running off towards the entrance, where a gate comes down anad blocks his way, then he dies. In the game, there is no health bar, every amount of damage that you take is real, so if you get stabbed with a sword even once, you're pretty much dead!!! The game is so detailed, and is historically acurate. It has the cities Jeruselum, Acre, and like one or 2 more. So if you see a building in the game, it was actually there in real life, during the Third Crusade, which is when the game takes place. They worked with a historian to get everything historically acurate. Everything's cool, and I can't wait till' it comes out!!! I will write more reviews later on!!!
Anti - Jewish/Christian

The game quality is not bad. After playing it for a while, though, you do get the feeling that it is quite anti-jewish/christian since these are the people you are constantly killing. You do after a while sence the need to become a mar·tyr and the game tends to teach this. I suggest if you are religious, then you should avoid this game.
