Maybe the best game ever done for game cube.... great fun, easy to play and preapare to have the funniest moments with mario & co.

This has to be the best game on the cube. It has all the things I liked about the first Super Mario Kart for SNES, and much much more. It also seems a lot more fun to play than the one for N64. I should warn you that lots of things are different than the N64 version so it isn't going to please N64 die-hards who want an exact sequal, but on the other hand, those changes make it about twice as awesome. Start on the easiest circuit and work your way up for days of enjoyment. Just when that enjoyment ends you get the fun of trying to race any track fast enough to unlock the secret staff ghosts (semi-transparent ghost racers of the game staff racing their best), and when you have unlocked a staff ghost you get the extreme challenge of beating them for another week or more of entertainment( and frustration). No one should be without this game (and I usually hate racing games).

This game is so cool I'm glad I diden't order it yet because the Bonus disc just came a couple months ago. Here is the diffrence between the N64 one and the GC one.

N64-The tracks were really cool but the graphics are worse of course.Their are less charactors but the battle mode is defenetly better then the ones in the GC version.All the karts are the same and only one person drives the kart and throws the items.

Gamecube-The tracks are better and the graphics are better. Their are more charactors and diffrent karts also. you can also win karts by beating diffrent things. Instead of one person their is 2 people in each kart. One person drives and the other person tosses cool items at people to stop them from winning the race. The battle modes arent as good in this one.

I would buy both of them. And if you have a brother or sister or someone to play with get 3 people. 1st player drives with a computer on the back and players 2 and 3 race with eachother on the same kart. This makes it much easier to beat the tracks.

I bought this game a couple of days ago and I can't stop playing...I love the beatiful graphics and I love the character selection. I highly reccomend it to any person of any age. The multi-player is also very fun if you have friends that come over a lot. I do not really reccomend this game to someone that is looking for a 1-player game. If you are looking for a 1-player game, stay away from this and get Prince of Persia...but If you like multi-player games, get this...

This game is a lot better than the Gameboy Advance Mario Kart, as it is a lot easier to steer and see. The characters are cool and theres a good selection of them along with the karts. Its great to have 2 people in a game, and the things you pick up along the track are cool, except if you're the victim of one. I just wish they had a few more tracks, and as 3 circuits is good, I've done all many times. Overall, this is an awesome game. I advise you to get it!

MarioKart Double Dash is a fantastic game to play with. It will be good if you got the one with the bonus disc. MarioKart Double Dash has a little same things like the previous games. You can play with:Baby Mario, Mario, Baby Luigi, Luigi, Waluigi, Wario, Koopa Troopa, ParaTroopa, Daisy , Peach, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Bowser , and Bowser kid. You can team them up in anyway you like. If you play the 50cc or 100cc you will find everyone teamed up. Example: Peach with Daisy. In the 150cc everyone will be mixed up. There are secrets you have to unlock to every cup and the type of cc. There is three secrets to every cup. This game lets every character to have their own car. Eight vehicles will be availble and you have to unlock the other eight. The tracks are better than before. It is not like the other MarioKart games where each track has the same number of laps. Every track has the number of laps taht suit it. If the track is short there will be 7 laps. If a track is long it will have 2 laps. This game has other fun things. The Match Race is the same thing. The Battle Mode is better than ever. There are three kinds of BM's. There is Ballon Battle , Shine Theif and Bomb Omb Blaster. There are 4 tracks for the battle mode. The Bonus Disc contains games you can try and you can watch. Buy this game or you will regret it. BUY!!!!!!

Thanks to WarpPipe.com you can take Mario Kart Double Dash online !!! This is a great game and is definately worth picking up if you like Kart racers. The 2 character set up. The multiple play modes, including LAN play. & LOTS of unlockables. The tracks are Challenging, but rewarding. Later modes of this game are hard, but not F-Zero hard. This is a great Party game as well. The controls are easy to pickup, and play. The whole game, just plays wonderfully.

If you Enjoy Racers, PICK this one up!

mario kart: dd!! is really awesome! The graphics, gameplay and all the other stuff are great! Nice co-op modes and multiplayer. Players can even play ONLINE if they have a GameCube Broadband Adapter, or hook up eight gamecubes with eight TVs for up to 16 players!

Both my 6 1/2 year old son and I enjoy this game. It's a go kart racing event where you can choose your characters and go karts. There are many races to choose from. You can race alone or compete against friends. The races last about 4 minutes. There is a feature that allows you to replay the race after you have completed it which is pretty cool. After 4 races, there is an award ceremony if you come in first, second, or third. There is strategy in choosing karts, some are faster, some are better handling. There are many tricks to the race courses that you learn over time, so you are not easily bored. There is a pause feature which is really handy if you have to stop the race to answer the phone or do a chore.
