Mario Kart Double Dash is what EVERY1 has been waiting for!!

This game is better than anyother racing game I have ever played, and i'm a big cartoon racing fan. I have played CTR and F-Zero Racing, and most of the major racing games out there, even the real life racing GT1-3. Personally I think it is about time for Nintento to come out with a Mario Kart that out does its predasessor for N64 (all who agree that N64 games are outdated shake their heads!)Features - This game has many many characters, lots of courses, and the newest (and best) this game has two characters in one cat. You could have for ex. Baby Mario and Baby Luigi in a cart you choose and have mario driving and have luigi find an invincibility star and say save or use? Well N64 vr. you couldn't get another weapon after, but GC vr. you can switch the characters making the item saved! (isn't that awesome)

I'm telling Nintendo to keep the good ones coming!

What's not so great: Our last 'cart game being "Crash Team Racing" for PS1, so I was expecting more battle arenas. There are only 3 and no customizing. If you know the track you win, if you don't you lose - it discourages friends from playing as there's no way to handicap. Battling other racers adds some element of chance, but not much - if you get far ahead you usually win. Finally, shortcuts are lame.

What's good: Graphics are sharp (and candy-color BRIGHT), driving/handeling/throwing is spot on! The more people playing the better this game gets (assuming they've played it before). The Duo mode is intresting, but it actually makes racing harder.

What looks like a great game at the start soon runs out of new stuff to do (compaired to "SSX3" which seems to last forever).

Most of the reviews I read for this game were all raves. However, it is my experience that they took the things out that were best about mario cart. Example: red shells do not hit the sides anymore, as long as you shoot them they will hit their target. This allows no skill or restraint for using them and just tend to be cheap altogether. Also, the idea that you drop your items when you spin out also proves to be very frustrating. But the main point is that this game is not worth the money that is required for you to put up for it.

I didn't get this game but it looks the best instead of only the main characters, it has all the players. If you have Mario tennis you can see how mant players it has. This game has more!!
Someone else in the comments said he wishes the price was lower. I agree but it looks so worth it!!!

I am Jewish and have gamecube so hanukah pesent!!!!

Anyway I think its a great game!!!!

I played a demo and it was so awesome! My favorite pair is Wario & Baby Luigi. Great visuals, O.K music,and Great Game Play

I purchased this game for my daughter for Christmas. As it turned out, my husband and I had put more time into than she did. We were gold cup champions for every race and at every race a new prize was unlocked. The "weapons" were great. The red hooming shell that would follow the opponent until it made contact and the fabulous blue shells, we called them first place flyers, were always a big hit.

Major Upgrade From "64"

If you were a fan of Mario Kart 64, then don't miss out on this game. Not only are there new courses, and ways to compete, you play with two charecters in your cart. There are so many charecters to choose from, it'll make your head spin.
Fans of "64" will love double dash, because if you were angry about only chossing one charecter before, than you'll be full of joy as you get to have two charecters in a kart. Plus, if you want to play with a freind, butnot compete, then another feature makes this game even better! One player can be the driver,while the other shoots items from the back!
This game is absoluely fantastic, with no drawbacks what-so-ever. Get this game!

There is so many things in this game that it is cool! The one thing I hate is 150cc mode. The All Cup Mode is tooooo long but everything else is good.The 50cc and 100cc modes are easy, but the150cc is HARD.The battle mode is good enough for me.I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Hi!
My friend got this game. She played and she didn't like it because she lost alot. She could race. It is not her thing. When I tried I thought it was cool. "You are racing others cars." So I played and I did very well. THen I taught her how to play the right way and now she likes it alot. Now we play everyday. We play each other and we both each other. But the thing you need to have encourage of the game. You don't need to give up to easily. I think you should get some new characters. Some cool cars. The race track are fine, but you need to make it more colorful and fun. When the person reaches to the second game they should get free lif thing. Well, THis game is awesome. Who ever creater it, they did very well.
