the game is ok,it has its limits like ya can't make your own custom games,ya basically have to follow the story line,i am more into games that you can have a straight forward battle, but to each his/her own, other then that its a cool game, maybe its better online against others

Single player mode has a decent story line and great cut scenes. It may be a little short, but the quality of the game makes up for it. Multiplayer is addicting! Great visuals with my single core 3.2ghz pentium 4, 2gigs ram, and x1950pro. Played just fine on medium/low with my previous 6600 card. The realistic sounds, physics, and detailed maps add to the overall experience. Deserves the 5 star rating.

The game was great and better than I expected. Some of the reviews indicated that it lacked "strategy." However, I think the storyline, gameplay, and graphics made up for it significantly. Also, part of the strategy or challenge involved was trying to find ways to succesfully complete the scenario. Overall, it was a good challenging game -- long enough, but did not take forever to finish. I look forward to the sequel.

I haven't finished the single player campaign, but so far I enjoy the game. I love the ability to move the camera all around, zoom in and out of the battle by using your mousewheel etc. I also like the storyline and the way in which you accumulate points to enhance your military. I am still partial to Company Of Heroes, only because of the WWII theme.

When zoomed down to the foot soldier level and looking out and seeing all the explosions and various aircraft and armor, this game really makes you feel like your actually there. Sometimes a nearby explosion can cause you to react the same way as if a large explosion just occured near you in a first person shoter.

Ground Control fans, the next installment as arrived!

If you loved Ground Control then this is an amazing leap ahead of that style of gameplay. Amazing graphics, sounds, mission structure, story etc. and most importantly fun gameplay. I haven't tried multiplayer yet but it sounds like lots of fun esp. if you have some friends to play with. This is one quality title! The action is non stop. A leap ahead technologically and in game design for real-time tactics games.

The single player campaign is long, so you don't feel cheated, and then the multiplayer games can keep you entertained for months. I'm certainly getting my money's worth.

Although I have other games, this is the one I find myself playing most often. Both the online multiplayer and the single player campaigns are great. The battles are very intense, as you drive your tanks through artillery barrages and hope to miss the incoming shells, or fire the artillery yourself at places where you think there might be enemies. One great accomplishment in multiplayer is that each of the specialties (tanks, helicoptors, etc) are well-balanced, so that you find people using all of them.

Each online multiplayer game takes about 20 minutes, which is perfect for me. As much as I enjoy games like Age of Empires, I just don't have the 1-2 hours that one of those games can take.

Quality game

The game is must for anyone that enjoys RTS. The graphics are quite good, especially if you have a quality video card, but even if you don't you can lower the settings to get an acceptable frame rate.

Wonderful replay value since you can try to win each scenario in a variety of ways. You can win in 10 to 20 hours depending on the level of detail you put in each mission.

The only downside is that i have been having problems trying to play multiplayer over the internet.

Buy the game! you won't regret it.

I was very pleased with the World in Conflict game, I couldn't stop playing it until I ended it. I am looking forward for the expansion "Soviet Assault"!
