Tak is great!!

This game is like a ratchet and clank for the young ones. My kids love it! There are animals to ride and vines to swing on. Their aren't any shoot em up moments. Even my 2 yr old walks around saying TAk TAK Tak! My kids love this game and it gives them some challenge for each age group. My kids are 2, 5, 11. My 5 year old is on the chicken island level but has been to the snowboarding and sandboarding levels.

I would recommend this game to anyone with kids who are looking for something more exciting and challenging for their kids than the run of the mill shoot em up platformers. I hope that Nickelodeon does end up making a cartoon out of this game. I like the interaction with the animals as part of solving this game I think it was fun. The graphics and level design on this game are far superior to any I have seen recently. When tak walks the his shadow work and footprints are really cool. The vines are fun and the cartoons between the levels are so funny. I havent seen a game with this kind of sense of humor either! My one complaint would be the camera work needed a little help but it doesn't get in the way of how the game plays.

So far, my wife and I have not had the chance to play the game yet but I think it will challenge my wife greatly and me some. As a dad, I give this game two thumbs up, finally a game without some of the standard shooting hoopla!!!!

This is the opening remark from a critic from gamelogic.
You have not truly lived until you have changed into a chicken suit from inside of a honey bucket. Tak and the Power of JuJu is by far one of the most comical and original platformers to date. Boasting some of the most luscious and breathtaking scenery, this game also offers non-linear 3D gameplay and some crazy funny scripting which is easily apparent as soon as you load up the game.

This sums the game up perfectly!! I would recommend this game to anyone

I think that this game is really well made. Here are my reasons for liking it. To start this game is very advanced as far as the progrming goes. You get to have interaction with the animals and ride on them. You use them to beat the game. The game has quite a bit of personaility and humor which is quite refreshing. The character design and overall feel for the game is incredible. The movies between the levels are hilarious. One complaint is the camera action but I have found this to be a problem in many platformer games. The game is good for kids of all ages and is non violent. This game is a must buy for parents looking for a game WITHOUT VIOLENCE. Girls will appreciate the level where tak has to dance through a puzzle. Boys will appreciate the sandboarding and snowboarding levels. This game is top notch in personality and character.

My son has been bugging me for weeks now asking me to buy him Tak and the Power of Juju! I have to say he loves it, and plays it everyday. I have even watched him play and as a parent, this game is hilarious! This is the type of game I will gladly let him play without worrying about what he may see or learn. I recommend it for everyone.

"Tak and the Power of JuJu" or "Power of P**P**" as my 10YO calls it, is a complete disappointment.
It's a treadmill of a game that feels more like work than play. We played for about 2 hours,patiently waiting,no hoping for something interesting to happen, but it never did. The game
is completely ordinary if not below the bar. The graphics are nothing if not mediocre. The character design was decent, but the execution in game was weak and glitchy. We also found the
cutscenes and characterization got really old after a very short time. The big problem is there is just nothing happening. In a word, "BORING". There were some decent ideas, like being able to ride the animals or be launched by the palm trees being pulled down by the monkey, but the execution left much to be desired. The camera system is bad,too much manual input was needed to keep your character on screen. There were also places, like when you jump onto thevines to swing where the camera started to spin around in nauseating fashion. The level design was uninspired, the game controls still need to be sorted. In the end this game is completely run of the mill.

Considering the barrage of advertising they have been doing on Nickelodeon,you would think the quality of the game would have been a higher priority.

If you are looking for a game for your kids I would recommend Sly Cooper, it is far superior in virtually
every judgeable aspect and it is still a game that we pick up and play tothis day.

If your kids are begging you to check it out, I would strongly advise yourent before you buy.

This game was so much fun, I loved it. My dad bought it for me and it was fun! You get to do everything with animals. Ride on them, trick them, and even wear a chicken costum. At first I thought it was easy but each level gets harder and harder. I'm not done yet but i hope soon.

This game not only looks good, but it is so fun to play. My children love it. And it's funny too. From my 11 yr. old down to my 3 yr. old., they have a great time playing it.

This game is really fun! It has quirky humor and lots of challenging levels. The little shaman boy Tak can snowboard, sandboard, etc. his way through. The graphics in this game are superior to any I have ever seen. The humor is quite funny. I love the fact that it keeps my 5 year old as entertained as my 13 yr old. Love this game!

I just got Tak for my birthday and I love it! I have been seeing the tv ads on nickelodeon and thought it would be a good game. Now that I have it, it is my favorite ps2 game! I have not beat it yet but I am going to very soon. I love the jujus, they are funny. I would tell anyone one to buy this game.

Before I bought this game, I read all the reviews, and found many to be very helpful. I consider myself a gamer, and love to play games, but I also try hard to find games that aren't violent, and have questionable language, that I can play with my kids. My kids love Tak, they beg me to play it nearly everyday, and when they see the commercials on Nickolodean they get really excited. I've enjoyed playing the game with them, not because it is the type of game I would buy for myself, but because they enjoy it, and I can enjoy it with them. I myself would rather play games like Jak 2 and Rachet & Clank 2, but these games are too hard for my kids, and a bit over their heads. Also the violence and strong language is something I try to avoid when it comes to them. I simply want to say, that if you have kids, and you like these kinds of games you won't be disappointed, and your kids will have a fun time playing it.
