Mindless Action No Way!!

Progressively Awesome. If you like mindless action, this game is not for you. This game is about puzzles and challenges. My kids absolutely love this game. The game starts out on a learning level and advances to amazing. This game will give the whole family a challenge. This is an action adventure puzzle game to say the least. The graphics are great! The little movies between the levels are the funniest ever! The wittiness of this game is awesome.

I would challenge people everywhere to see if they could solve this game. If you quit after 3-4 levels, you don't know what you are missing because this game gets better and better!!!!

Tak and the Power of Juju.......

Year after year, we see a whole slew of new platformers out to steal the crowns from the likes of Mario, Sonic and the rest of the heavyweights of the genre. Most of them, literally, are average at best. Worth nothing more than a rental on a weekend when there is nothing else to do.
Then, along comes Tak and the Power of Juju. Sadly, it-too- is your 'average' platformer(you know, of the Fetch-quest sort), at least in my opinion...BUT one with stellar production values and one that does show promise. To begin with, it's an absolutely gorgeous game, vibrant and colorful. Ranking up there with the likes of Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Maximo, and Sly Cooper. The voice-acting is top-notch. The cut-scenes are well-done and played out &, most of all, it has a lil dude with 'tude that your bound to remember once you finish the game("Who da' man?....Shhweet!!!"). To not recommend this game to everyone would be unfair. It IS a fun game, after all, that shows alot of potential and style although it is alot of gameplay we've played before.
However, when and if they ever come out with a sequel, I just hope they push the envelope and give us something new.

This game is a lot of fun. My neighborhood gets together often to see if they can beat Tlalloc sp? ! The graphics on this game can't be topped on any platformers. The game mechanics are awesome as well. Like you get to ride a rhino for some game play. The game's one fault is the camera action. All in all i would give this game a nine as it is a game that continues to get played and not shelfed.

Not great not bad. Better choices out there but not the worst game our family has ever played.

The good: Fun characters, non violent, big levels, theme
The bad: Slow starter, collection based game design poorly conceived, lack of action at times, camera.

Summary: Lots of games in the past have done what this game does except better.

The opening sequence of this game is brilliant, as a parent it was really enjoyable to both me and my kids. However, we found just about everything else about the game to be less than expected. Perhaps our expectations were too high. I like that the game is non violent - but non violent should not translate to non - action. We have had the game for over a week and it was played for the first few days and that was it. My kids don't have the desire or intention of playing it again. As someone who buys very few games and tries to only buy games that will get a lot of use to justify the high cost, I would not recommend this game.

After seeing all of the commercials on Nick, my brothers and I were really excited to play this game. At the start it was so funny. I really liked all of the Jujus and Jibolba (sp?). the gameplay was pretty fun. But I found collecting the whatever million of objects a little boring. A lot of times i didn't know where to go. I thought the stronger parts of the games the non-collecting parts, like the mummy part or boss fights. The graphics were pretty good. Overall i'd say it was pretty good and if you liked the original Jak and Daxter, this is a good buy.

This game is not that great. The only good features are the Juju powers and the fact that it's hilarious. From rams falling in love with sheep, to Lok being an idiot, to rams falling in love with Tlaloc, to making orangutans naked, to orangutans punching Tak across the face, this game's full of laughs, but that doesn't make up for the fact that it's a mediocre game.

This game rocks! It's fun to play with my kids, the movies are incredible and funny. My kids love Tak and the game. I wouldn't hesitate reccommending this game to gamers of all ages.

I like this game alot. I am twelve and it is one of my favrite platform games. I like to see the funny juju's and i am at the final battle with tlaloc. I like this game because you get to ride animals and climb things. This is the funniest game i have seen out there. I wish they had a map sometimes but they do have flags to follow and show you where you are. Nickelodeon did a great job and cant wait for the cartoon.
