I got a headache playing this game because of the constantly moving environment. The character should move. Not the word around him. They could take a lesson from Insomniac games makers of Ratchet & Clank. Basically this is a ok platform game.The graphics are good, (I just wish that they stood still) but sometimes the camera angles are horrible. It's hard to see where you're going at times. It has it's challenges but is not too difficult. The game is a bit short too. All in all it's a ok game but I wish I would have rented it first. I don't think that I would have bought.

I really like this game: it's very fun. But, there are two major flaws in it: a) it's very easy to get lost or stuck in a level, especially in Chicken Island; b) it can get pretty boring pretty quick, due to the annoying looping music and easy battles. The only battles that may get tedious/challenging are the Nerbil battles (because they are everywhere, and just won't stop coming) and the major battles, like the one with Pins and Needles. There's some really corny humor throughout the game, which make the game very annoying and make me want to skip all of the movie scenes. Very good graphics for an early PS2 game, though, I must admit.

This is a gifted game, filled with adventure, juju, butt-naked orangutans, Tlaloc a sheep, the bad part is Mummy Tomb part,

this game is tricky but fun!

I recently bought this game and as a platform lover this is the tops. Move over Jak 2. This game was great for any age. The gameplay is conventional but the art is outstanding. Tak is a shaman apprentice who tries to defeat the evil Talaloc. No wonder Nickelodeon is going to make this game into a cartoon. The environments in this game are wonderful. There are several innovative game play techniques in Tak. I think that THQ hit the target with this one. The different puzzles are exciting and challenging. I highly recommend this game to gamelovers.

We bought this game about two weeks ago and my kids are still playing it. I have not yet had a chance to play it as there is always someone on it. As a parent, I don't have any complaints whatsoever on this game because there isn't any violence, questionable scenes, etc. The humor is funny and I like all of the scenes a lot. The best part about this game is that it challenges my kids and they are not bored with it at all. They just don't get bored with it after an hour.

Warning this game will make your hands stink. Hunk of garbage - don't be duped. Basic premise, wait, wait some more collect something so you can collect something else, which allows you to wait then collect more, which opens up the possibility to you guessed it collect something else. This game is about as much fun as 52 card pick up.

This game is really fun. My mom made me wait till last month to get it, till the price came down. I love how funny it is and that you can ride the animals. The jujus are funny and i love the cartoons in between. Overall, this is my second favorite game.

Tak and the Power of JuJu is the most violent game ever. I bought this game for my son. I thought it would be fun and unviolent but I was wrong. I dont belive in violence. My son who watched a violent PG-13 movie got scared and started punching the new TV. The next day I woke up and was to return the game but I couldnt find it. When I went outside I saw a burned Tak and the Power of JuJu case and disc. Later I found out that he saw a tiger that ate Tak. I thought that was very violent. Please dont buy this game for your kids.

some difficult controls for little ones

This is a very beautiful platformer with some interesting challenges and puzzles, and definitely entertaining action. My one complain so far, and I haven't gotten all that far into the game, is that the throwing interface is difficult to get the hang of, and I'm 32. I could see this really frustrating a little kid. My son won't even play it yet but he does enjoy watching, and numerous parts of it make him laugh, which when it all boils down, makes this game worth every penny of the $40 I paid for it. Just be prepared to help little ones get the hang of it.
