nice star wars game

This is just the kind of star wars game i been waiting for.I don't really see where all the reviews that say the controls are bad and stuff like that are coming from.I got good at the controls after 1 hour. the only bad part i can really say about it is that turn the ships around takes a while and it is challenging at the beginning of the game[when you first get it].good luck and may the force be with you.

Now, if Trek fans had a game like this...

... I'd be all set.

People complain about how simplistic this game is; that's true, but if you consider the fact that these new movies are essentially 2-hour toy commercials, you're already aware of the need for this simple game.

The only complaint that I really can make about the game itself is the frequent appearance of Jar Jar Bush-- excuse me-- Binks. How many times can we stand to see this annoying character running in the line of fire, yelling MEESA GO BOOM NOW before we WANT him to go boom?

My favorite section is the Conquests, which bear slight resemblance to the battle play in Masters of Orion. It allows you to think about your tactics before being thrown into the action.

I haven't figured out how to steal the enemies' ships yet (doesn't seem possible), but that would be a good bonus. Imagine an AT AT stomping all over stormtroopers who are trying to support it, not knowing that Chewie's at the controls... LOL ;)

This is an awsome game.You start off a mission by choosing a place to spawn from.Then you choose your unit.Each time you die you can select a new respawn point.

The downsides to this game is that you can't be a jedi.That is pretty much the only bad thing.

The good things are that you can get into pretty much every thing you find including the AT-AT and the AT-TE. You can even take over something that is occupied by your own teemate.

Pretty much your main objective is to kill your enemies and to capture command posts. Command posts are the places you respawn from.Without those your teem will gradually loose reinforcements which you need to win the battle.

Overall I give this game a 5 star rating. The graphics are awsome too.As well as the music and the sound effects.

By far, the best Star Wars game I have ever played...

In the past, Star Wars games have ranged from totally unfun(Jedi Power Battles) to fun(Rebel Strike and Bounty Hunter). Well, this game exceeds every Star Wars game before it with great graphics, gameplay, and sound.
You are able to fight during the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War as everything, from Republic clonetroopers, Dark Troopers, Wookies, and even Destroyer Droids! You can also battle on 95% of planets seen in the movies from Mos Eisly to a planet from the upcoming movie, Revenge of the Sith, Kashyyyk, the wookie planet. You can also pilot nearly every vehicle seen in the movies, from the speeder bike to the fearsome AT-TE, AT-AT, and Homing Spider Droid. To add to this fact, you can even steal the enemy's ships under their noses! There is nothing funner than being a super battle droid and stealing a Jedi Starfighter!
This is such a great game I can't stop. Certain things, such as a small combat arena for vehicles sometimes get in the way, but this is really the only thing that is annoying to me. It also has splitscreen, where you can either play against a friend or alongisde a friend.
This game is a game worthy of the Star wars name and every true Star Wars fan out there MUST either rent the game or buy it(like I did). go to best buy and buy it now!!!!

One of the best star wars game ever!You get to be on the lines of battle.During a battle you could be a sniper,a rocket launcher,a missle gun ,an automatic.Also you get to pick your side of the battle.There are three different ways to play the game,there is instant action, galactic conquest,and historical campaign.All three are a blast. You WILL like this game!

I've been playing video games now for 26 years (since the 80's) and when I complete a game I toss it in my 'Never to touch again pile' why play it again when there are so many new games I need to try.

But not battlefield, the best part is even though I have concord all the planets and all the eras, I haven't thrown it into my never to play again pile (and probably never will). Because there so many options to choose from, you can pick rebels, droids, clone, vehicles, weapons etc.. it's a new game ever time I play it.

I Also like the split screen option where my 4 year old can play with me, even though he can only kill one person & dies 15 times, I can still win the game and my 4 yr old thinks he won which is great. With other war games both people need to kill a certain amount in order to win. This is one of my top favorite games becasue the controls are easy to figure out, and being able to set it on easy so my kids can play with me makes it a family game.

A great game. the multiplayer will provide hours of non stop fun. The story mode is worth to play a few times. the graphics are outstaniding. There are so many different types of soilders you can play as. So many fun maps. This game is the best game you can get for a star wars fan or someone in the age group pf 10 to 15.

This is a great overall strategy/combat game (even if it wasn't Star Wars). An easy game to play (some may argue a little too easy!) You can select from a number of specialized troops from any side, any era. I also love hearing the music from all the movies. All around good game with good graphics and a high replay value.
The only downside, the battlefronts aren't expansive enough and other planets could be included (Correscant for example). Also the pilots could use better weapons. Otherwise, great game!

This is one of the best games I've ever played. This is a game you can never get tired of. You can be any troop from any force from any of the Star Wars movies. You can be the Rebels, the CIS, ect. You can't be any of the Jedi but that's not too bad. You can battle on any planet in 1,2,4,5, and 6. There are also some planets from three as well. Another thing is that you can get in any vehicle you see (unless your a droidica but you are basicly a vehicle if you are.) This game is great you have to get it!

Some people say this game is just another shooter game but if thats all they think of it their wrong. Even if you are not a star warz fan this is a good game. With many levels and different things to do. You can play for hours with friends. There are no glitches if you have a normal tv, ps2 and cable hook up. The graphics are very well done, i think this is Lucas Arts have done so far. If your on the edge i insist that you get this game.
