This game is cool but easy, I played this game for three hours and beat it. There also should be jedi fighting. So if you like Star Wars, get it.

This is a cool way to get in the star wars experience. This takes it from a different perspective being able to play as the rebels, the empire or the sepratist army. Again, just a little too short for my taste.

thsi game is really good but......

the grapics sometimes can screw up and there could be more battle fields but al and all its a really good game(but star wars battlefront 2 is WAY BETTER!!!!!!)

Star Wars Battlefront - It is a great game. you can be on the good side or the bad side and you get to play campaign or control these fort thingys. multiplayer is fun too. i am going to buy this game . i havent even seen alll the movies and im not that into star wars but this game is great! go ahead just try it!

O.k. this isn't the best game ever made. But also, my comments are not for everyone. I started playing with Pong, yes, Pong. I find huge, beautiful games like Halo, or GTA unplayable because I got used to first-person action like "Perfect Dark" and have not found a replacement yet. Well, this comes close... I like it for the Star Wars content& the fighting isn't bad. Granted, I will say nothing about "online play." That does seem to be a knock against it, but I don't even have an ISP at home- yes, some people run fully secure systems!
Anyway, the gameplay is actually manageable for me. I even found the 3rd person easier. No problems like GTA where a cop is unloading into your skull while you target the baglady. I still get a bit where I end up humping walls, getting shot in the back while, you, slowy, turn, around. But the characters are fun, some great mismatches, love playing the robot w/sheilds!
But, a knock, I have reached some missions w/ the much aclaimed vehicles.. not good. The X-wing handles like a broken garbage truck, far to slow to ever control, much less shoot something down with. And this isn't perfect "squad-based" play. The creators would probally argue, but the guys don't listen, can't figure out where you are. And you will be killed, often. You can hide back in your own lines& snipe, but someone will probally get you eventually. But its not a bad thing entirely. In some places, your men need a civil-war-esque suicidal charge that kills the guys they are too inaccurate to get to make that push into enemy territory. And depending on mission, often, one side has an advantage in numbers or location. The game is all about making the other side pay, until they run outta men. I'll try upping the diffuculty, but overall, catching the enemy in strategic locations and using basic (thrust, cross-fire, flank, avoiding being flanked) military tactics is the name of the game& I have been able to beat every mission I have tried by simply finding ways to make them loose more men than mine.
I sure hope nerds are working to unlock characters like Jedis..
as it is, the shielded CIS robot& the wookies are the only marqui characters. Depends on what your'e looking for, but a good Star-wars shooting &killing game, ships stink.

I don't know about you but I say this game is REALLY REALLY REALLY FUN! I'm in a HaleFire Droid with the CIS army and man it is SO COOL. I'm blasting all of the Clone Troopers and each missle I shoot at them they go flying in the air . It doesn't have much story to it but I just go with the levels and have fun with it. I think it's worth 50 dollars.

This game rocks. Its like the halo games, only with about 200 more people shooting at each other and causing mass destruction. a great game to play with friends

It's a Star Wars game, but it's a pretty bad one. Ok, the graphics look awesome, as a multi-player game I could see this being good. Single player mode can have two extreems, easy or hard. Those aren't selectable settings, but the way you choose to play. At each "level" your character becomes immediately involved in a large battle, your character is one of many fighting this battle and there are no specific goals other than taking over command post. You can elect to piloting ships, steal an AT-AT etc.. but this really only serves to bring a loose bit of freedom. It makes the game a giant mush without any order to it. You can fall back and let the computer controlled team mates win the level for you or you can engage in combat and (usually) be destroyed almost immediately. Bottom line, this is a poor game. One of the worst Star Wars games ever made. Save your money.
