Simply the most wonderful experience ever had in my entire life as a gamer. Is like Legend of Zelda but with a adult Link with a great horse and huge bosses! A fantastic game! great music, graphics and story.

I havent played "God of War" yet, but there is a difference. "God of War" is cool with really catchy moves that snag the player. No doubt, more games should be like "God of War" and "Shadow of The Colossus", but if I had to choose between them..I'd choose SOTC. SOTC is pure beauty and magnificence. It is like a painting come to life for the consoles. The music connected brilliantly with the cut scenes as the story was just as "colossal". The ending was bittersweet, but it makes us take a look at ourselves and leaves me to curiosity as to what would happen next.

Two thumbs up- cant wait for their next game to come out.

A Colossal Game

First off, I have to say that this is probably the best looking game on the PS2 that I have ever seen. What I mean by this is that this game has absolutely stunning graphics. The gameplay in the game is great too, plus there is a different way to kill each colossus which never lets the game get old. This game would've been perfect had it not been for it's lack of a deep storyline. It does have a story to it, but it's a pretty simple one. I'll definitely say that this is by far one of the best games I have ever played on the PS2.

Fun to play, but lacking depth.

There's no doubt in my mind that this was an entertaining game while it lasted, which was admittedly not long. The game is so straightforward (find it, kill it, repeat) that I finished it within two days. While the score and the enviornment definately add to the game, the lack of story was very dissapointing.

There was a very basic premise to the game; your girlfriend is dead, and you want to bring her back with the help of a dubious god in a temple in the middle of nowhere. Cue your attacks on the collosi and don't stop until the game is over. Even then, the ending was extremely confusing and left me feeling unsatisfied and not knowing quite what had happened. While the replay value is somewhat decent (see" Reminescence Mode") I would suggest renting this game, but not buying it.

A game what you need to play!!

The concept, it's great. A game with all boss fights and nothing in between. Each Colossus has it's own way of being beat. The only thing I did not care too much for was the camera control, but that comes with the territory.

The Shadow of Colosus is a must plahy game, is a pretty boring because you just have the Colossus as enemies, and there is no more than 16 Colossus in all game, a little puzzle to find the Colossus, but is good.

Quality is crap, controls are whack

When looking at the cover, one might expect the graphics to be oh-so-amazing. Once you're in the gameplay, or even the introductory video to the game, you realize the graphics are crap. But there's one cool thing, at least! The game is rendered in real time, so you can change the camera angle in the videos.

The horse is difficult to control. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's probably one of the more difficult things in the game. It has a habit of running towards walls.

Other than that, the game is pretty fun. I've only killed the first two collossuses(collossi?) though.

Worst Game Ever

This game is the biggest waste of $20 that I've ever seen. Stupid, boring, slow, pointless.

Anybody want mine?
