This game is fun, challenging and impossible to stop playing. Insomniac, the creators of the original Spryo, are unrivaled when it comes to creating a great platformer. You will find yourself going back to start over immediately upon finishing the game, which isn't accomplished too quickly. The worlds are amazing and your weapons and gadgets are creative and fun to use. If you enjoyed Spryo 1-3 (NOT "Enter the Dragonfly", it stinks and was NOT done by Insomniac) you will love Ratchet and Clank. It's not the same game by any means, but just as creative and innovative. This is a "must have" game.

I am not much of a platformer-game fan, but this game is absolutely incredible. The graphics blew me away. they are clean, crisp, running at 60 fps, and colorful. The weapons are a blast and rather original. It is a lot of fun to use the suck cannon and suck up enimies to shoot out at other enimies. The controls are tight and responsive. I never blame the game controls because i died. there were a few parts that seemd rather frusterating (for example, running away from the water), but on a whole, this game excells in all aspects.

I bought this game for my son in November and now my husband's even playing it! The two of them switch off in some system. My husband says that it really is fun, and he's not much of a BIG time gamer. Although, my son is and he's sown me ratings on the internet on this game. All 9 or 10's and 5 stars! I was skeptic to buy this game at first because it was rated TEEN. This game just has alot of this getting blown up, that's all.

So anyway, if you need a game for a Christmas gift, this is perfection!

Wow, that alone makes this a great gaem. With over 35 weapons, i havent seen a better platformer game in my life. Simply go buy it now... the Graphics ahould be on the PS3 not PS2... go now!...

This was the most fun game for playstation 2 that I played yet! I can't beleive all the guns and gadgets that I got. It is the coolest game ever.

The movies in it are funny and good. This game is the best. I rented it over the weekend and I hope taht my mom gets it for me for christmas.

Ratchet and clank is an awesome game,not only are the graphics cool
but in some parts you play as Clank too.When I first saw the game I knew the creators of the game had put in alot of work.Best of all the game is challenging so the game is not to hard but not to easy.Also there are tons of worlds you can go through! I plan on buying it too as soon as I return it.So rent then buy!!

I had my doubts about this game, but when I popped it in the PS2, I realized I hadn't played an adventure type game like this since Metal Gear Solid 2(I rate it 5 stars).

The storyline is easy to follow, the graphics are great, and most of all, it is just fun!

Rachet and Clank has some cool weapons and features. I have already beat the game and I saw that there was also an option called "goodies", which is a place where you can enter cheats, watch the credits and other stuff like that.

The weapons can be upgraded into "gold" weapons w/ special gold bolts and a substantial amt. of regular bolts. It's really cool!!

If you had an interest in Spyro da dragon or any other games like that I would recommend it. "Blow it up, blow it all up"

rachet and clank is really good. its a game all platform game fans who own a ps2 should want. first off the graphics are really excellent. everything is polished and detailed and theres a lot of activity going on. things are happening in the worlds and they make the graphics look a lot better. one of the best games to show off the graphical powers of ps2 to your freinds. the storyline and music are blended toghether perfectly both very good. the gameplay is compelling and intresting and will have you pining for more. basically rachet and clank are in an intergalatic universe. they go from planet to planet bashing aleins collecting bolts finding out secrets and completing missions. bolts are the currency of rachet and clanks world. collect a lot of them because they can be used to buy some really cool weapons which brings me to my next subject. the weapons are fantastic all can be used to defeat bad guys or just to have a blast. theres the blaster hyprocitator glove of doom and the ryno. theres much more obviously. because rachet and clank is the home of weapons theres 36 diffrent weapons in the game. youll have to pay for ammo for all of them so collect those bolts actuaully ammo is kind of dirt cheap. in addition to the weapons youll have a wrench this uses no ammo you can use it as often as you like. i love this game its so creative. what happens whewn you mix intergalatic space style gameplay with crazy weapons graphics that show off ps2 graphical capability. and some of the coolest missions and slobberknocker action ever seen in a game. you get rachet and clank one of the best platformers on the ps2.

Another great and fun game for Sony PlayStation 2 with Ratchet and Clank. It follows a similar vein to Jak and Daxter, except it now becomes an outer space adventure against a variety of aliens from mouse robots, mutant snakes, sand sharks, green blobs, flame-throwers, ship gunners, and many others.

The infobots and in-level scenes are hilarious, especially the scenes with the whimsical Captain Qwark and the main villain Supreme Executive Chairman Drek. I have played this game many times and have mastered pretty much everything, except the skill points for doing the Twisty McMarx and completing the Hoverboard Race in less than 1:35.

If you like STAR WARS, you'll love this!
