Definite 5 stars, this game is blast! (I mean blast!) It is loads of fun and just plain addicting blowin' stuff away and getting new advanced weapons. Heed me and BUY IT!

...over whose turn it is to play Ratchet & Clank. We would be quite embarassed if friends heard us discussing over dinner whether the Glove of Doom is better than the Devastator, or what planet you need to visit to get the O2 mask so you can survive the toxic fumes of Orxon. Great gameplay, graphics & music, very addicting. If you liked Spyro, you'll love R&C.

this is not a game youd wanna let pass you by. it may look like it but its definitely not. rachet and clank easily beats the best mario games in every way. with the resemblance of a classic cartoon. a generous amount of action. and excellent graphics its easy to say rachet and clank is the whole package. basically rachet some kind of a mix between a cat alein or maybe even a squirrell. is trying to repair his ship when a robot gagetron reject named clank crashes from the sky. already theres a cartoon feel and extremely enjoyable characthers. clank then proceeds to ask rachet were captin qaurk is. rachet replies he dosent no much. then rachet and clank are both on a mission. basically you go from planet to planet bashing crates to collect bolts the currency of r and c. when you collect enough they can be used to buy weapons. there are approximately 30 weapons in gagets combined in the game. including big guns like the hyprocitor the blaster the ryno and so on. gagets are items generally used to help you across levels. like the swingshot which is used in an obviously rope resembiling fashion. collect a lot of bolts its imprtant to keep plenty of bolts on hand. the weapons are insanely fun and the gagets help you across planets. although the game is somewhat linear. missions are completed in a reasonable pace. youll never throw the control down in anger as many of us did in jak 2. the game is not easy either there are tough missions that arent understood well sometimes. but its generally doable and the game is not repetitive in any stretch of the imigination it stays fun all the way trough. platnuim bolts are also valuable but extremely rare. they can probally be found in ministages troughout the game. like the one that can be found in waterworks of planet novalis. the graphics are really great everything looks extremely cartoonish itll make you feel like your in one. the effects like the night and day planets and the constant flow of activit are just perfect for the game. on the other hand this is not a kids game its got guns weaponry and a lot of action. but dont worry mothers its got no blood and all the weaponry is on the cartoon animation style. shouldnt be a problem for your young kids. rachet and clank is an outstanding example of a platformer i cant tell you how much i recomend it.

Move over Naughty Dog! Insomniac knows how to make a game!

This is the best game ever! I have beaten it about 20 times already and it still amazes me (one game I beat in an hour). Spyro was good, but this is even better! Graphics are alright, characters are more detailed than levels, but game play is INCREDIBLE!

Yes there are guns, and yes you do have to blow up aliens and robots, but there is no blood or gore. Levels, ah, the graphics could have been better, but levels are large and there isn't only one path to follow (like in Crash Bandicoot). The characters are often sarcastic and funny, and they are very well done. Some parts may be hard for younger childrens (s intintional) but other than that it is pretty smooth. Story line is good and you can get very involved in it. It has a few strange twists. It is fun, witty, and involving, Ratchet and Clank is a Must have!

My brother and I started out with our Neighbor's "Up Your Arsenal" game and loved it. Upon getting our own PS2, we decided to get the original. This has got to be the best game I've ever played, and the same goes for my brother.

Five stars isn't enough!!!

This game will just blow you away!! You get so many choices from the different weapons to the different levels. There are MANY levels all of which are challenging, but not so hard that you'll get discouraged easily. Insomniac Games did such a wonderful job on this you may find yourself just having Ratchet stand still so you can look at everything in the levels. Everyone in our family really enjoys playing this game and we recommend it to everyone we know! Definitely worth getting and playing again and again and again and again!!!!!

This game is perfect, it has good graphics and really good weapons and a large amount of enimies to blow up. This game has racing to mindless action and the story is great! A must but for Action adventure fans!

This is the BEST action game I bought for PS2. I am also a Spyro fan and if you played the Spyro games (I have all of them) you will LOVE this game. I have all the Ratchet and Clank games and the characteristic that is great about each of the three is that they keep getting better from version 1 to version 3. I DEFINNITELY recommend buying this game.

This is an awesome game!Don't let the rating worry you,it's more like E+10(Everyone 10 and up),THAN IT IS T(Thirteen and up).I played this game when I was 11!Anyhow,it's like a Adventure/Shooting game.So if you like Adventure games and shooting games,then you'll like this game!Any it's only $20!So this is a great game to get for your PS2(Playstation2).As you go deeper into the game,it does get hard,but keep on trying!You'll have lots of fun playing it!

Ive had this game for 2 days and it is the best game ive ever played. It is so much fun and you must check it for yourself. You absolutely cannot go wrong this game, unless you're a jackass and don't like having fun.
